Mariah Berkeley-Benton Plot Page

Mariah grew up bouncing from home to home in the American foster-care system before finally being adopted by Katrina and Samantha Berkeley-Benton. She knows very little about her roots, but she doesn't mind - she loves her mothers more than anything, and she would follow them to the ends of the earth. They recently moved to London, and Mariah, previously mentored by Hogwarts alumnus Klaus Weber, has just transferred into her fourth year at Hogwarts.

While Mariah is kind and caring, she suffers from social anxiety and has trouble making friends. She is relatively new to the wizarding world, and often feels overwhelmed. A dreamer at heart, she loves to delve into her imagination with poetry and creative writing. She dislikes being the center of attention, but she will always rush to help those in need - even at the risk of being used or manipulated. She still has much to learn about the world, and can often be too trusting, but she will search for goodness in anyone until she finds it - or creates it.
