| Full Name: Эльвира (Elvira) Sienna Holloway Age: 17 Date of birth: 17 October, 2009 Birthplace: England Current home: Glasgow, Scotland Blood Status: Halfblood, but for the longest time she thought she was muggleborn. Sexual Alignment: Pansexual, polyam; on the aromantic spectrum Wand type: Cedar wood, unicorn hair, 10.5 inches
Hair colour and style: Auburnish brown, but has lately been turning a lighter shade. She usually cuts it during the holidays to just below shoulder length and lets it grow out the rest of school, so it’s usually mid-back by the time the next holiday comes around. She tends to tie it in pigtails or one long pony tail, with ribbons or other accessories. Eye colour: Light blue Height: 5’6. Body type: Neither slim nor overweight; pretty average. Dress sense: “Anything cute”; it depends on her mood. It varies accordingly; sometimes she feels like dresses and skirts, sometimes she feels like booty shorts and a crop top, sometimes she wants leather jackets and torn jeans and boots. Birthmarks: A small blob on the back of her left knee. Tattoos: None yet. Scars: Only the typical childhood ones. Piercings: Ears, belly button.
Likes: (3 minimum) Ballet and gymnastics; she is, surprising to many, very flexible and loves moving her body in ways that most people can’t. Crude jokes Looking cute af Makeup Caffeine — coffee, tea, coke… She loves the kick and boost it gives her. Any kind of fried, sweet, or unhealthy food. Art! Drawing, painting, sketching — anything along these lines, she adores and is actually rather talented at. During class, she’s often found doodling on corners of her parchment (or sometimes using up the whole parchment).
Dislikes: (3 minimum) The police (or rather, mistrusts) Short hair; you can't really tie it in cute styles Arrogance/arrogant people Ginger ale — why the f*** would you willingly drink anything that tastes like ginger? Rats. After that particular incident when their friend’s pet had been squished under the door by accident, Sienna has just never liked the idea of seeing a rat. People who don’t take no for an answer
Strengths: (3 minimum) Oddly graceful on her feet, despite dropping out (or rather being kicked out of) ballet school when she was 10, she retains the grace and air needed to, well, dance. She’s very confident about who she is; she doesn’t have many insecurities about herself as a person. (Although right now she’s very insecure about her family situation, which is vastly different.) She’s never been one to back down from being who she is. She doesn’t take anything for granted; she works hard at school, even at the subjects she hates, because she knows she owes it to her mum. Unless extremely angry, she is good at listening to people to hear their point of view, and putting herself in their shoes. Reading people, and knowing what they like and dislike. It seems to be something she picked up from her mum, and while her mum used it in a vastly different way than her, Sienna doesn’t see anything wrong with either way — making people happy or getting someone to like you, or figuring out what pleases a client best.
Weaknesses: (3 minimum) She has somewhat of a temper. And by somewhat, I mean she will fight anyone and everyone who either insults her or those she loves. Kinda impatient; they say good things come to those who wait. She says “But I can always go get those good things anyway.” Never leave her alone in a shopping mall. She will spend everything she has on makeup and cute outfits Suddenly coming into money confuses her. She’s used to being careful with spending and saving up for things. Now that she’s apparently “very f***ing wealthy” she doesn’t know what to do with all this money.
Positive traits: (3 minimum) She tries to see the best in everyone, not allowing first opinions to get in the way of truly trying to get to know them, and doesn’t listen to rumours or ‘warnings’. She won’t let herself get hurt — indeed, it’s rather hard to hurt her, with skin as thick as an elephant (as she likes to say) — and is quick to drop-kick people out the door should they prove to have a negative impact in her life. To her, blood is blood whether you love her back or not, and she would gladly and without a second thought give up anything and everything if it meant saving or helping a loved one. (And, she would also be quick to point out, loving someone and liking someone are two vastly different things.) Great at multitasking; while a lot of the time she seems to be daydreaming in class or doodling instead of paying attention, she is fantastic at actually paying attention despite not appearing to. With auditory learning skills, Sienna often keeps her hands busy during classes.
Negative traits: (3 minimum) She can be rather … creative … with her insults, not afraid to use any word (aside from slurs, obviously) and any description in a fight. Or even not in a fight. Her potty mouth could put sailors to shame. When extremely angry, she doesn’t stop to think or try to work things out like she normally would; she flies into an absolute rage and doesn’t listen to reason. She’ll go all out on attack mode either verbally or physically. Although this doesn’t happen very often (usually not even once a year), if it does, it’s best to just avoid her entirely. Whether this is actually a negative trait or not is debatable, but Sienna has always had a rather dirty mind and has a rather high sex drive. A lot of the time she’s found flirting with ... anyone, really. She’s not desperate so much as she really enjoy ‘the game’. She only follows rules if she understands their significance to her. If it’s not important to her wellbeing or she doesn’t understand how it applies to her, she probably won’t follow it.
TW: Cancer, death, prostitution.
Born to a prostitute who had decided that abortion was not the right way to go — considering that she herself had been born of similar circumstances — Elvira, part Russian-something else, part something else, had grown up in a flat with three other prostitutes. Her mother had gotten together a few of her closest friends from the streets and make their own mini-brothel. And while sex-work itself was legal, the brothel was not; still, it was hard — nearly impossible — to prove that it wasn’t just four best friends staying together, who happened to have the same job.
With her sisters taking care of her part of the rent and food for the nine months she was pregnant, they then took turns once Elvira was old enough to be left with a babysitter, allowing her mother to work. And so Elvira was raised by the four of them; they are her family. Nobody really knows quite how the pregnancy came about — faulty condom, most likely — but whatever the case, Elvira grew into a fine girl, and they loved her. One of them had started using Sienna as a pet name for her — it was more ‘Western’ anyway — and it had kind of stuck; Sienna grew up hearing and introducing herself using both her Russian name and her middle name. As time went on she started preferring Sienna; only her mother could really pronounce her first name correctly, anyway, and she didn’t like how the Brits made it sound, harsh and weird.
She grew up fully knowing what her mother — and Aunts — did for a living, with a clean, kid-friendly version of the explanation soon evolving to more and more detail until she was old enough to fully comprehend what it was. This is partially the reason that sex and the like have never been a subject that she was embarrassed or ashamed about; she sees it as just another thing with nothing super special or secret about it.
When she was five, she had shown interest in ballet classes and gymnastics, and so scraping together some extra money, her mother and Aunt found a school and started sending her for lessons. She proved to have an affinity for it, excelling in classes. Most of her free time at home, when not working on whatever homework she had from Primary School, was spent dancing. It was when she was six that she first displayed signs of magic; a math paper she really hated had somehow caught on fire. The next day, an official came to speak to them, since they had all been present, and Sienna was ‘outed’ as a witch.
She continued to attend primary school as well as other activities until she was to leave for Hogwarts, very quickly displaying to her mother and her Aunts that she was, despite her sweet outer appearance, not to be one to mess with. She had picked up some of the languages used by those around her — her mother and friends had never been ones for a ‘clean mouth’, literally and figuratively — and it had transferred over to the young girl. Partially because of this, she didn’t have very many friends in school; she picked fights with anyone she thought disrespected her, and this in turn caused people to disrespect her, which caused her to lash out, which… In any case, she didn’t mind; she has a few close friends that didn’t mind her, and she stuck with and by them.
At the age of ten, a year before Hogwarts started, the Ballet Incident happen. Sienna doesn’t know this, but it was upon seeing this that the Sorting Hat would place her in Hufflepuff. It had been the middle of class when she’d messed up a simple exercise — her footing had slipped and she’d stumbled a little, bit a huge mistake but one she “should’ve known better than to make”. Her teacher was a hard man who had taken to disliking her for some reason or other. He’d caught the mistake at once, calling her out for it, and in the process making a rather snide remark about her mother getting a better job. (He had meant it in terms of money — he didn’t know what she did — but Sienna has jumped on it as a slight to her mother and Aunts.)
The cussing out that Sienna gave him was probably unprecedented in his life. Including choice phrases such as “cowardly dickless man who had never tasted pussy in his life”, “dick so small the doctors almost declared you a female”, and “stick your dick in a blender you f—ing pig”, Sienna was, least to say, expelled. Despite having wanted to be a dancer when she grew up, all Sienna had said to her mum when asked what had happened was “I wouldn’t want to learn under someone who hated you anyway.”
She hasn’t been punished as harshly when the full story had come out; her mum and aunts had found the whole thing hilarious.
At 11, she started Hogwarts. It was here on the train that she found herself in a carriage with a fellow first-year. Introductions had been made and a friendship formed almost immediately; she had introduced herself as ‘Sie’, and the girl had introduced herself as ‘Sia’ (full name Siara), and they had decided to be best friends. And it worked. The both of them were similar in so many ways, but not so much that they clashed, and their differences weren’t the type to cause arguments. Their friendship was solid, almost unbreakable, especially once they were both sorted into the same house.
For two and a bit years they were inseparable, best friends “until death do us part” (as Sienna had jokingly said). And then the Quidditch tryouts had happened. Both of them had decided to go for the beater position, and both had practised and practised and practised, helping each other out as much as they could. But, on the day of the tryouts, Sienna had gone to get her broom and found it … gone. It just wasn’t there. A frantic search of the place and ‘accio’ spells had not done the trick, and with time running out before the trial, Sienna had almost given up hope when she heard word from a friend that it had been found in a storage room.
Sienna had raced to the room, but when she’d stepped inside to get it, the door had been slammed shut behind her and locked; she was trapped. Feeling around for her wand, she realised that it, too, was missing. Frustrated and annoyed, Sienna had yelled up a storm, but by the time someone heard her and let her out, it was too late: she’d missed the tryouts. Sia had gotten Beater reserve, and Sienna had… nothing but a sore throat.
On the ground right outside the room was something that Sienna knew belonged to Sia. Enraged beyond belief now, she stormed back to her common room where she found Sia and tore into her like she had only ever done once before during the Ballet Incident. The once unbreakable friendship had been broken by a very verbal — and also very physical — fight that had to be broken up by prefects. Sienna swore to hate Sia forever on that very day.
Beside this very sudden and harsh ending to a friendship she thought would last forever, life went on more or less as usual for Sienna. She had other friends, after all, and she’d always been one to bounce back from things.
When she went home for the summer at the end of her fourth year, though, she learnt that her mother had fallen sick. Not an STD, for she was always careful with her clients, but cancer. It was an aggressive form of it that had spread far too rapidly for anything much to be done, and she was given a life expectancy of a year. Sienna was devastated. Her mother was the one person in the world who meant the most to her, and while she had her Aunts, they weren’t mum.
The start of her fifth year was rough. She wrote back as often as she could, worried beyond anything she’d ever felt. If only her mum would pull through, if only treatment worked, if only… But each letter that came back in return only brought worse and worse news. The chemo hadn’t done anything, and the cancer had spread even more. Even the last ditch treatments that had a small chance of working had failed, and there was now nothing left to be done. Sienna’s days went by in a blur, with her finding herself crying at random moments. Most of her professors were understanding, allowing her extra time to do her work.
As soon as the Christmas holidays had come round Sienna had taken the first possible option back home. Her mother was bedridden at this point, and so Sienna spent three last days with her before, one evening as they were all crowded around a tiny TV screen watching old Christmas reruns, she exhaled once more and stopped breathing.
The funeral was held the following day, a simple one with only a handful of people in attendance, and then Sienna went back to the flat and cried herself to sleep. That very evening though, there was a knock on the door and a strange man that she dimly recognised from the funeral stood there. He was well dressed, and looked like he had more money in his pocket than Sienna had ever seen in her lifetime. He introduced himself as her father, and told her that now that Faina was dead, Sienna’s custody had been reverted to him; it had been Faina’s last wish, that he take her in as his daughter.
From the getgo Sienna hated him. He was seemingly uncaring, a man she had once sworn she never wanted to meet, but she knew she had no other option; with her mother dead, her Aunts would be moving out and finding a new boss. It wasn’t anything against her, it was just how it worked if they wanted to survive. And so, packing what few belongings she had, Sienna said a tearful goodbye to her Aunts and left with the man. In the span of twenty-four hours, she had just lost the only family she’d ever cared about.
Head down, uncharistic nerves in her stomach, Sienna entered the new house they had apparated to. A familiar voice carried down the hall and Sienna’s eyes grew wide as her head snapped up and she locked eyes with… Sia? A whispered “What the f***?” had not gone unnoticed, and a tut had reminded her once again that this was not home, and who she was would never be accepted — not here. She had excused herself as soon as possible to her room, only to discover that she had been made to share a room with Sia. As if life couldn’t shit on her enough, her worst enemy had not only become her half-sibling, but they were also sharing rooms.
That week with them was hell, but in it was one silver lining: her stepmother liked her. With her grace and love of cute dresses and ability to mostly contain her swear words if necessary (it had never been necessary before, but it seemed that now it was), she was just feminine enough that the woman liked her. For just a moment she had felt bad for Sia, but then the memories of being locked in that storage room came flooding back in and all sympathy had left.
Despite that, Sienna had never been happier to return to school. With the pressure of exams looming, she did her best to forget about everything going on and focus on her studies. Truth be told, Sienna had never really followed politics. All she knew was what involved her and her family directly — so when the integration started happening, she found herself at a loss. Doing what she did best (surviving), she pushed all her emotions aside and focused on one thing; passing her OWLs, which she did, albeit barely.
It was at the beginning of her sixth year that things finally started falling back into place. Some asshole with a pinky larger than his dick decided to advance on her step sister despite the verbal ‘no’, and while Sienna knew Siara could take care of herself, she also knew that as much as she hated the sight of her step sister, she couldn’t just stand by and let that sort of shit happen. A short, rather painful intervention later and the boy limped away, and Sienna and Siara ... well, got into a loud heated argument during which Sienna finally yelled “How f—ing dare you act this way towards me after what you f—ing did.”
When Siara yelled asking what she’d done, and Sienna yelled back a reply — there really was a lot of yelling involved — Sia had frowned in confusion that even Sienna could see. For the first time they actually stopped shouting to just talk about what happened without becoming overly defensive and getting physical (and not in the way Sienna liked), and both came to realise that someone had framed Siara; she had not been responsible for the incident. It had taken many years, but the two girls realised that their lack of communicating and their temper had come between them; instead of confronting Siara, Sienna had assumed guilt and acted, and Siara had responded in kind. Had either of them stopped trading insults and punches to actually ask what was going on, the whole thing would’ve been avoided.
Their reconciliation was seemingly overnight.
From best friends to enemies to enemies as sisters to best friends as sisters, them walking arm in arm into the great hall for breakfast the next morning stunned so many of their friends. No explanation was given — they still had to find the person who, in their eyes, caused the breakup and hurt them badly — as they continued acting like nothing had ever happened.
The weeks came and went, with them still not able to find out who locked Sienna in the cupboard. Now March of their sixth year, the two girls are closer than ever, with no plans to let anything come between them.

No one is quite sure what drove Rufus to cheat on his wife. He was a wealthy business man, having taken over a rather successful company after his father passed. He’d married his childhood sweetheart, and they were happy. Or so they thought. With one child already and one very nearly there, only Rufus himself knows what led him to the house of the muggle sex worker, a mistake that would prove to have more than one consequence.
Faina on the other hand, was a relatively easy going sex worker. She had run away from an abusive household as soon as she was 18, and found herself on the streets. With no real way to make an income, she’d turned to using her body — with major success. Working her way up the food chain, she soon established herself as a rather upscale prostitute, with prices far above what she’d first started out charging. Life was easy, and she was loving it.
A few months after Rufus’ third visit, Faina found herself pregnant. When Rufus next visited — for he had established himself as a monthly regular — Faina cornered him. How she knew it was him, she never said, but a paternity test later on proved it was indeed him.
He confessed to his wife what happened, and while it took some time she finally forgave him, and that was mostly the last of it — until Faina died, and Sienna moved in with them.
