After Jackson had left the room she then feel to the ground. Tears where coming from her eyes. As she had loved Jackson so much. And he was the one who got her through her divorce. She just couldn’t believe that he had cheated on her. After all he knew was Damien had done to her. As he had just done the same. Tessa had no idea who this someone was but she knew that she would. There was no sign of the tears stopped. Her whole world was ripped from her. As she was starting to feel being used. As it was a way for money. Since they announced that they were dating right after he had one senator. And now it was just four months later he broke up with her.
There was so many memories in the gym. As she knew that it was Jackson favorite place. That is when she left the room and found Randi. She told her that she would be staying in one of the guest rooms. As Tessa knew her room had too many memories. And she knew it the bed and the walls could talk, there would be many stories. She had really had not been hugnry but Randi was telling her she need it. Tessa was just glad that Dominique was still at Hogwarts. And she was glad that the young witch was still at school. When she got home for the summer she would tell her. This was something that was best to tell in person. Tessa hated it that she was going through the same thing again. It was like she never learned from her mistakes. As she had two cheaters which they were friends so that could play a part in it.
Once she made the guest room into her own. She didn’t want to leave the room. Which she wasn’t in any hurry to return to work. Even though she knew that she was going to have a press conference. Saying that she was no longer dating Senator Jackson Blake. It was something that she didn’t even want to think about. Right now her heart felt like it was ripped out. And Jackson had just walked all over it. The only thing that Tessa would eat was some toast just to keep Randi off her back. It seemed the one thing that Damien and Jackson had in common was the fact they both cheated on her. And she was sure that Damien was regretting it. She was also going to make Jackson pay for hurting her. She was going to ruin everything for him. And she knew that she would be able to sleep at night. There was days that she didn’t want to get out of bed. Which she was glad that she hadn’t told fox when she was coming back. Because right now she just wanted to be alone.
Tessa knew at some point she was going to have to leave the guest room. Randi would pop in and check on her. Making sure that she was eating but Randi knew that her mistress was hurting. Tessa knew she was going to have to pick herself up. As she didn’t want to give Jackson the satisfaction of knowing that he had broke her. Which right now was so true, but Tessa knew that she would move on. But right now she was thinking about that. She knew that she was just giving herself pitty. It was making her feel like she was human. Because right now she was at the lowest point. It was the same feeling after her divorce. Tessa told herself that she would never have to feel this way every again. But here she was in the same boat. She was feeling like she would never be happy again. That she would never have the happiness that she had when she was with Jackson. But she knew that she would be her normal self soon. It was something that was going to take some time.
There would be time when she would feel herself thinking about Jackson. She would cry because she was heartbroken. But then she would get angry after he knew what Damien did to her. But he then turned around and did the same thing. There was times when she wanted to just start throwing things and breaking them. But she wasn’t really wanting to break any of her things. It was a week when she started to move around in her room. She had Randi bring her laptop so that she could get some work down. And she wanted to see if Jackson had done a press conference saying that they broke up. Which she knew that he would have his version. And then she would have to tell her side. She was racking her brain on who could be the person he was with. Because she knew that Jackson wouldn’t throw everything just for some random hooker. Tessa knew that Jackson was better than that.
But she wasn’t sure of all of his female friends. It was something that was making her feel at least better. And it was giving her something to do as she told Jackson that he was no longer welcome. Which she knew she was regretting on saying that. At the time she was just so angry because she had just found out that Jackson had cheated on her. And it was the only thing that she could think of. Soon she was finding herself leaving the guest room and exploring around the house. It was hurting her heart when she would find herself thinking about Jackson. But she knew that this was the only way for her to move on. Because Jackson was now in her past. As she was willing to forgive that he had cheated on her. But he was the one who decided to break it off with her. She sometimes found herself thinking about Damien. Sometimes she wondered if she should visit him. She knew that he was worried that she would leave him. Instead Damien cheated on her and then she started to date Jackson.
But she didn’t think that he would do the same thing to her. Tessa decided that she needed a pet to help her. As she knew that it could help heal her heart. That is when she decided that she was going to get a kneazle. It was the first pet that Damien got her when they first start dating. Even though they were in an arrange marriage. That is when she went to the magical part of the city to go to the pet shop. Because she knew a muggle pet shop wouldn’t have what she wanted. Even though a kitten would be just as good. That is when she found the perfect one. She was a small gray kneazle and she knew that it would be spoiled. As Tessa didn’t really have much of a life. As Dominique was still at Hogwarts. But she was grinning when she was holding the kneazle as she was taking her home. This was the first time Tessa was happy. Since that day she had been locking herself up in a room. Now she was able to go outside of her home. Which meant that she was improving. Soon she knew that she would go back to work.
Then she would have to face another set of problems. But at least she was having good company with her new pet. Tessa was starting to eat again. Which she knew that was making Randi glad. As she knew that Randi was always worrying about her. Ever since the break up Tessa had lose some weight. And that was on top of the weight that she had lost from the phantom pregnancy. That was something that she didn’t like to think about. Because she had always wanted to have another one. That was the hardest news that she had ever had. Someone telling her that it was all in her head. Now that she was able to leave the house. She started to go back to her doctor. Which she would have to tell her everything that was happening. Tessa knew that her doctor would help her work through this. Tessa always knew that there would be a spot for Jackson in her heart. As she was hoping that he would come back to his senses.
There was a part of her that knew that he was never coming back. But she knew that she was just fooling herself. Tessa had sent an email back to Fox that she would be coming back to work. As she knew that this was the only want to get back to being Tessa. She was ready to throw herself into more work. But she knew that even if she looked fine on the outside. Inside she was still hurting and she knew that it was just going to take some time.
