Moving Forward (Amethyst & TJ) Empty
PostSubject: Moving Forward (Amethyst & TJ)   Moving Forward (Amethyst & TJ) EmptySun Sep 11, 2016 9:58 am

The time shortly after Amethyst's distrust of TJ's actions had been... rocky. TJ had done everything in his power to push the doubts that Amy had as far from her mind as he possibly could. This meant making extra effort to go out with her on (inexpensive) dates to various places locally. It meant making an effort with dinner when he was home to show her that he wanted her to be happy. But, mostly, it was the verbal reassurances of his love for her that grew everyday.

TJ had hated himself for allowing Amy to believe he would ever cheat on him, and he hoped he'd made amends for that time - which had been confirmed when things began to settle back down.

Amethyst had finished her first year of university, and so TJ had decided to take her away for the weekend. He'd borrowed a Wizard's tent from his colleague (complete with functioning bathroom, because he wasn't sure how Amethyst would take to completely camping out in the wilderness without such necessities) and booked a weekend off. TJ had kept it a surprise from Amy, because he wanted to again show her that he really did put thought in to their relationship.

All Amy knew was that they were to keep the weekend free.

He'd packed Amethyst's things for her (picking out way too much, he was sure, because TJ wasn't one hundred percent sure what went together) and everything was already set up for the weekend. Apparating back to the house (an excuse of a quick errand had been given to Amy), TJ moved through to their bedroom, where he picked up his rucksack with the final bits he needed.

"Ready, Amy?" TJ called, moving from the room to find his girlfriend, excitement filling him completely.

When TJ had told her to keep her weekend free, Amy had no idea what he had been planning. After what had happened they were both trying to build back the trust they once had for each other. TJ loved her to death, and she could feel this more and more with each passing day. He was doing anything in his power to make her feel happy and adored, and she appreciated every bit of it. But things were still not back to how they used to be.

So when he had gone out that morning for some urgent, sudden errand, Amethyst didn't know how to feel about it. He had told her to keep her weekend free and he wouldn't even sit at home with her? And after all, what was the urgent errand he had to run? She was pretty sure that everything was okay. What was he keeping from her?

So once TJ apparated back to their apartment, Amy was ready to have a small talk with him about the weird things that had been going on, but she was cut off before she could even form a sentence.

"Ready, Amy?"

The witch was dumbfounded. TJ had bags ready and he seemed all excited about something but she had no idea what was going on. Looking around her, as if testing out whether this was just a dream, Amethyst moved closer to him and raised an eyebrow confused. TJ was driving her nuts and she didn't know what to do.
"Ready for what, TJ? What have you done?"

In TJ's haste to make the weekend perfect for Amy, he'd probably overlooked the fact that he was being suspicious in his actions. Asking her to keep the weekend free without explanation. Leaving in the morning on an errand he couldn't speak to her about.

That's why when the questioning tone accompanied with a raised eyebrow did not bother TJ. He could see it now he thought about it, and he let out a small laugh as he brought her in to his arms and stole a quick kiss from her lips. "What have I done? I haven't done anything... well, anything wrong. I have done something. I'm taking you away, on a holiday. But, please don't make me tell you more than that, not right now. Let me take us there, and then you can ask questions, okay?" TJ asked, his features hopeful in that moment that she would allow him to do this for her.

"Oh, and, the why, or what you have to be ready for, is that I made you a surprise for completing your first year at university, which, I am so, so proud of you for. I'm hoping that I can do something for each year you finish, with the money I have saved over the year from work. And, no, I haven't left us short for rent, or food, or anything like that for the rest of the month. We can afford this, and I just want you to enjoy a break..." TJ explained, hoping he'd covered all bases with his answer.

"But, most of all, I want to go away so we can just enjoy each other's company and not be distracted by things at home." TJ finalised, stealing another kiss from her which he held a little bit longer this time. "So, are you ready?" TJ mumbled against her lips as he pulled away slightly.

PostSubject: Re: Moving Forward (Amethyst & TJ)   Moving Forward (Amethyst & TJ) EmptySat Oct 01, 2016 8:44 pm

Amethyst didn't know how to feel about everything that was going on. She was trying to trust TJ again, she loved him more than her own life, that was for sure. But his actions were not clear, and Amethyst was scared. Scared of losing him to another again. He had been her first and only love, she couldn't bear to lose him, not now. Not after everything they've been through.

But as he pulled her in a hug, and stole a quick kiss from her, Amethyst started to relax. She felt safe in his arms, and even if she was still trying to keep some distance between them, just for safety, after everything that had happened, she still couldn't resist this. Couldn't resist him.

"What have I done? I haven't done anything... well, anything wrong. I have done something. I'm taking you away, on a holiday. But, please don't make me tell you more than that, not right now. Let me take us there, and then you can ask questions, okay?"

"Holiday? TJ! You shouldn't have! You don't need to waste money like that, idiot! There was no need to do that!"
Amethyst pulled away from him a little, looking at him with a soft, pleading look. She didn't want him to waste his money like that, and TJ knew this well. Amethyst was well aware how hard he was working to make this money, and now he was throwing it all away just to take her on holiday. It was absurd.

We can afford this, and I just want you to enjoy a break..."

But there he was, calming her down and explaining that they could afford this, and that there was no need for her to be worried. Amethyst didn't know whether to be glad or worried about how well TJ had planned this. She still didn't know whether he was telling the truth, or simply trying to calm her down, but he had certainly managed to shut her up, for now.

"I am going to kill you, I swear..."

"But, most of all, I want to go away so we can just enjoy each other's company and not be distracted by things at home."

Damn you, being all cute.., Amethyst thought as she was pulled into yet another kiss. She didn't want this one to end though, because the passion and the love she could feel was undeniably gigantic. TJ loved her so much and cared for her, and he was truly trying to win her back in every way possible. Maybe she had been way to hard on him. But she just couldn't bear to lose him.

"So, are you ready?"

"I love you," was all Amy offered as an answer, and hoped that it would be enough for him as she laid her head against his chest. She loved him, and that was all that mattered.

"It's not a waste if it makes you happy, Amy." TJ replied softly to her words. He meant them too, nothing would ever be a waste - monetary or otherwise - if the result was Amethyst's happiness. He knew she was worried about money - after all, they were not rich by any stretch of the imagination - but he wouldn't have planned the trip if it was going to leave them short. He wanted Amy to be happy, but the cost of doing so would never leave them short for essentials. No, if they could not have afforded the trip, TJ would have found another way to make her happy.

"Probably, but not until I've spoiled you rotten this weekend, okay?" TJ insisted at the threat of being killed. He knew she was only playing with him, and his features had grown in to a smile now that Amethyst had relaxed with the idea of the holiday. Next year, she wouldn't be so shocked, because she would know of his plans, but for this year, he was working on keeping her in the dark until the vital moment.

The soft assurance that Amethyst still loved him despite his plotting behind her back made TJ smile as he placed a kiss atop her head and wrapped his arms back around her small frame. "I love you, too." TJ whispered back before adding, "Hold on." He allowed a moment, before the ground left their feet briefly before being planted half way across the country on a sunny campsite - the beach was a stones throw away, and the warm weather was growing all the time.

TJ knew himself that it wasn't much - camping wasn't exactly everyone's cup of tea - but he hoped Amy would understand that much. "Welcome..." TJ explained, holding on to Amethyst whilst she regained herself from the apparating. "To your home for the weekend, Miss Vine." TJ explained, motioning to the tent and then to the wider world...

"I thought we could enjoy the beech today - I've got a small picnic packed in my bag - and then we'll come back to the tent tonight for dinner. The weather forecast says it's supposed to be a clear night... so... well, I thought we could watch the sunset, and... then maybe... watch the stars together..." TJ suggested, looking to his girlfriend expectantly to see if this was okay for her.

"I love you, too."

Of course Amy knew that TJ loved her. He had been loving her since that night they had spent in the Astronomy Tower. The day she had fallen for him completely. Amethyst, even if her trust was a little broken, loved TJ and she was in no rush to lose him. Not now, and hopefully, not ever.
And she had missed him dearly all this time. She had missed his touch, and the way he took care of her body in so many ways. Maybe going on holidays was exactly what they needed.

Some time to bond.

Some time to explore each other all over again.

And then they were suddenly away from their home, and travelling to a place unknown to her. But her ignorance was soon gone as they landed on a campsite, near the beach. As soon as Amethyst was able to stand on her own, she allowed herself to look around, a small smile touching her features at the view, but as TJ showed her the tent, Amy bit her lip. She wasn't displeased, not really. She just wasn't sure how practical this would actually be.

"I thought we could enjoy the beech today - I've got a small picnic packed in my bag - and then we'll come back to the tent tonight for dinner. The weather forecast says it's supposed to be a clear night... so... well, I thought we could watch the sunset, and... then maybe... watch the stars together..."

Amethyst smiled and turned to him, avoiding his eyes as much as she could as she spoke the next sentence.
"Are we... Are we going to be.. alone here?"
Even after all this time, Amethyst still found it difficult to ask of her boyfriend to make love to her. This subject was probably going to remain the hardest for her.

TJ was glad of the smile that came in the beginning. It was an indication that Amethyst liked the idea of where they were. That she was open to his ideas. But, of course, TJ did not miss the biting of Amethyst's lip as she took in the tent. Managing to keep himself from worrying - but only just - TJ added, belatedly. "It's a magical tent. Bigger on the inside. Like... a small house. With the furnishings." TJ explained, hoping this would settle Amethyst's worry down.

And, of course, TJ noted to never, ever go for the Muggle kind of camping.

The question that came, though, made TJ smile fondly down at his girlfriend. Many men would probably have some kind of smirk, or laddish grin on their features at such a question, but TJ couldn't help but find Amethyst cute for such a question. "The main campsite is quite a way from here. So, yes, we're quite alone. I... thought that would be better. In every way." TJ explained, making sure Amethyst knew that he hadn't brought her out here for just sex.

Yes, of course, he wanted to do that, but he had more things planned.

Leaning down slightly, TJ pressed his lips to Amethyst's. "Please tell me that you like it, so far." He whispered, because honestly, he didn't know if Amy could see this the way he did. If she didn't like it, he'd rather do something else, than waste time with something she wouldn't enjoy.

"It's a magical tent. Bigger on the inside. Like... a small house. With the furnishings."

TJ was worrying- of course he was. Amethyst couldn't help but giggle at the panicked sentence, a way for TJ to explain to her that it wasn't so bad and that she was not going to be spending the next couple of days in misery.
"TJ, sweetheart, I know. I am not displeased by what you've arranged. I am glad we are doing something different. You brought me here to relax, yet you're the one freaking out, idiot."
Reaching up, Amy placed a soft kiss on his cheek, before smiling lovingly. TJ was her man.

"The main campsite is quite a way from here. So, yes, we're quite alone. I... thought that would be better. In every way."

The answer to her question caused Amy to late out a shaky breath she didn't even know she was holding. She wanted them to spend some time alone, and TJ had caught on her trace of thinking without having to tell them. For that, Amy was glad, since she was already feeling extremely self conscious. Sex was a topic she just couldn't approach.

"Please tell me that you like it, so far."

Amethyst reached out, cupping his face and kissing him softly on the lips.
"I adore it, TJ. Thank you. We really needed this trip."

The smile on TJ's lips grew as Amethyst said that she did like it. It wasn't the Ritz, it wasn't glamorous, TJ knew that, but it was what he had worked hard for, and he was simply relieved that he hadn't wasted the money on the wrong thing. "I'm fine, just making sure this is all perfect, for you." TJ insisted, though, of course, Amethyst would definitely be able to see the way his shoulders were sagging with the relief of her liking this.

But, the reassurance only a moment later was very welcome, and he kissed her back happily hearing that this was what they both needed.

***

TJ had taken Amy down to the beach, as promised, for the afternoon. They'd shared a simple enough picnic that TJ had made up, whilst watching random boats out on the sea. They'd paddled in the water together for periods of time, giving in when Amethyst became too cold before huddling up in their towels that TJ managed to put a small warming charm in to stop them from becoming ill. The afternoon had gone by quite quickly, and when the sun started to cool off TJ showed Amy back to the tent.

After a quick shower, TJ had said he would cook dinner - a simple meal of sausages with some rolls he'd packed. Outside of the tent, TJ had made a small make do table out of an overturned box from inside - best not to arouse suspicion of anyone who might pass, however unlikely - TJ had set the table, waiting for Amy to finish her own shower in the tent.

More sausages were simmering on the stove - TJ's appetite had always been quite insatiable - and the werewolf sat looking up the sky. Calmness was beginning to creep through him now that they were away from the rush of their normal lives. TJ could only hope that Amethyst felt the same.

"Dinner is ready, Amy." TJ called, slipping inside the tent momentarily to grab a couple of blankets for their evening out under the stars. "I've got a blanket to keep you warm later, but bring anything else you might need." TJ insisted, going back to the make shift table to wait.

Everything was calm...

Except the increasing beat of TJ's heart.

Things with TJ had been going smoothly. Amethyst had not yet fully opened to him the way they were before, but she was trying. The witch knew well enough that TJ had not lied to her, and that he had never cheated on her. But seeing with with that woman, that Gina, it tore her to pieces. Just the thought of that woman touching her man, her boyfriend, the love of her life, it made her sick. She was the only woman that could touch him like this. The only woman to kiss and make love to him.

But after everything that had happened, Amethyst was scared. What if she wasn't enough for TJ. He was handsome, sweet, a true knight. Any woman would want someone like TJ, and there were plenty of girls out there, twice as beautiful and experienced as Amethyst. She didn't know how to please him well enough, she was sure. TJ had been the only man with whom she had proceeded to any sexual activity, and the young witch felt as if he was bored of her.

She had missed his touch. The way his tongue traveled all over her body, and how amazing it felt when they made love. When he filled her up completely, moaning her name. When she had gone inside to shower, Amethyst hadn't planned of this, but as the water fell upon her, Amethyst allowed her fingers to get lost between her thighs, and with the thought of TJ, everything fell into place.

*****

"Dinner is ready, Amy."

"I am coming!"
The witch yelled from inside their bedroom as she put on the cozy clothes she had chosen for the evening. A towel was used to dry her hair, leaving it damp, as she pulled them back into a braid and let them dry.

"I've got a blanket to keep you warm later, but bring anything else you might need."

Amethyst had to smile as she heard him speak those words. How could he be so amazing? Why was she so lucky to have him?
Once she was ready, Amethyst made her way outside, her eyes widening at the sight. TJ had done a very good job, and Amethyst couldn't wait to start their beautiful night.

Biting her lip, she pushed a stray strand of hair behind her ear, before moving closer to sit opposite him at the make shift table.
"It looks beautiful.."
Amethyst took some time to look around, the small waves crushing at the end of the beach, and the moon appearing on the sky.
"Thank you, for bringing us here.."
