Katherine is the middle child of Edward and Elizabeth Smith. She has an older brother named William and a younger sister named Jasmine. Since she was a half blood this had to be kept from one set of her grandparents. And it was because they were muggles. So when she was showing her first signs it was best to keep it a secret. And Katherine knew this and would do everything to keep it from them. When she was eleven she got her letter from Hogwarts. Katherine was excited because that meant that she was going to be going to school with her older brother. Her sorting ceremony was amazing. She remembered when the hat was placed on her head. But she was so happy that she just ran to the table where she was told. This was going to be her house for the next seven years.

When she was in her fourth year her younger sister was at Hogwarts too.  Now she was trying to be there for her sister, just like her brother was to her. As she knew that her first year was going to be stressful. And was helping her to get into a routine. As her brother did the same for her. And now she was going to do the same for her little sister. Giving her tips on how to juggle school and being away from home. Telling her that it is best for her to get good marks. Because you will never know when that might be useful. Katherine had always lived by this. Because she still wasn’t sure what she wanted to do once she graduated from Hogwarts. And she didn’t want t disappoint her parents so Katherine made sure to get good marks.

When she was in her fourth year she started to take an interested in boys. That is when she started to date. Which she noticed that she found girls attractive. So Katherine guessed that she like both girls and boys. Which was something that she was keeping to herself. Even though she was going to try and date a girl. Then she could tell if her theory was true or not.  Katherine was now in her fifth year and knew that her OWLS where important. So she was juggling school and dating. Even though she wasn’t currently dating.

After Edward graduated from Hogwarts he was staying muggle London. Because he wasn’t sure what he wanted to do with his life. And he knew that he was going to take some time for him to think about his. His parents were behind him with he had made this decision. As they were the one that was paying for everything till he could figure out what he wanted to do as a job. Edward was finding that he liked the muggles. He would find himself always going do to a local restaurant.  As he was learning that cooking was never one of his strong suits. That is when he meet Elizabeth. She was a waitress and he would see her almost every day. It was just causal things but never once did he let her know that he was a wizard. Finally one day he had asked her on a date. And he was glad that it went well as this would turn into many dates.

Edward knew that he wanted to marry her. But he knew that it was best for him to tell her the truth. Which he was actually shocked that she took it well.  After asking her she knew that he would introduce her to his family. Which he was glad that his parents loved Elizabeth. Which meant that Elizabeth would be getting the wedding of her dreams. As money was no problem for his family. Edward and Elizabeth both decided that they weren’t going to tell her parents that he was a wizard. Which he was glad that the wedding went off with no problem. And now they were Mr and Mrs Smith.

Now they were in the first year a marriage Edward decided that he was going to move back to the wizarding world. Which Elizabeth was behind the idea as she loved her husband. Soon Elizabeth would be expecting their first child. Both Edward and Elizabeth were over the moon that they were starting there family. Nine months later they were blessed with  baby boy. Which they decided to name him William. They were so happy with there small family. But two years later they would find out that Elizabeth was pregnant again. Everyday she was praying that she would have a little girl. That way she could have one of each. She didn’t want to know until she gave birth. There was excited as she was meeting her baby for the first time. She knew that there was some parents that wanted to know the gender. But she just wanted to wait. After waiting nine months they found out that they were blessed with a little princess. And they decided to name her Katherine.

Both Elizabeth and Edward were happy with there boy and girl. So there was plans for no more babies. Unless down the road they were to change there minds. Four years later they found out that Elizabeth was pregnant again. This wasn’t planned but it was a surprise for them. Like the two times before Elizabeth didn’t want to know the gender of the baby. And she was surprised when she found out that she gave birth to a little girl. Now she knew that her family was complete.
