Quinn would peer through the short letter. Of course he had already known everything enclosed. A simple phone call had come prior with all the details, but still....the federation liked to play things by the book. In the background loud music could be heard, The Clash.....should I stay or should I go. A fitting song for the upcoming tournament, though there was obviously only one choice. Taking a sip from a nearby Diet Coke, Quinn would shake the paper, causing the charm to break and a second piece of paper to fall out.

Mr. Quinn,
We at the Bureau of Magical Security have followed your career quite closely. let us start by thanking you for your ongoing patriotism and participation in what will surely be a boost of moral for the American magic folk. We will be watching your performance closely and cheering on for you.
We shall be sending an agent to speak with you prior to the tournament as we have some matters that we would like to converse in person about. Please make yourself available.
Good luck,

This letter did not have a signature line, and was much more cryptic. No sooner had his eyes finished reading than all the ink on the page began to congeal together. Dropping the paper he watched as the formless blob soon took on the form of a raven, before it gave a haughty "caw" and flew straight out the window. So his eyes had been drawn he had almost missed the remains of the paper turning to a purple flame before disappearing without a trace.
"Well Roberto....that's one way to send a message." he'd say laying back on the bench and continuing on with his workout. Sighing before lifting the weights his eyes watched as the Koi fish gently swam through the air of the room in its charmed bubble of water. There was at least one thing for certain......this was going to be an interesting year.
