Chanelle was born in the life a day when her mother died also. So Girl never really had any good mother figure in her life. She did had few step-mothers but they never really cared about her but she still became good person. She just had friends on who she could relay on. She mostly did stay at nights when her father wasn't home in her friends houses than at home. Girl leaned very young age to how to take of herself but she still is very naive about things like loving someone. She knows what is friendship but what is love she has no idea.
Of course her step-mother had already kids from her previous marriage. And basically when she was 5 she had half-brother, who hated her actually too even if at start Chanel tried to make him to be her side but her step-mother made everyone to hate her. At the end even her father. So when ever she had problem she went to her friends and they asked help from their parents. She just couldn't trust her own family and she still doesn't.
When she got letter from Hogwarts she was very glad. That meant she can stay longer time away from her step-mother, who hated her, for no reason really. She made her few new friends and learned so much more about magic. She knew about magic since she was 6 or so but she never used it much, unless she did it accidentally back then. She had always her grades up so far. She just is bright student and who can remember things easily, so it was pretty easy to do homeworks for her.

Family Background
Young Family is orginally from here England but nowadays they live all around the world. They aren't never really been very close family, they barely talk with each others. There haven't been family gatherings already centuries. Also Chanel doesn't know much about her family tree or so at all. She have never asked from her father and same time her father hated talk about her family.
Her father was hated by his own family since he married with muggle not with witch. His parents didn't like that idea and when his parents heard that muggle died after giving birth they were actually happy not sad. They didn't even went to Chanel mother funereal. Ever since then he lost contact with his own family and his only daughter never get to know her grandparents. Also because she did look so much as her mother already in her young age her father began less to do things with her. He just actually still missed Chanelle's mother even if he tried to not show it out and tried to go on with his life.
