Background
When Adam was eleven and he found out he was magic, he was delighted with this fact. He'd quickly been pulled from school and sent to Hogwarts with his peers and he enjoyed every moment of it. When he'd been sorted in to Hufflepuff he had no idea what this meant, but over the years it became very apparent that this was where he belonged.

Adam stayed away from relationships through school, struggling to find his own sexual orientation and believing that staying away from it would be much easier. This changed when he went to university, however, because he was thrown in the deep end of experimentation. At the tender age of nineteen, Adam found out he was bisexual from something of a drunken night's fiasco.

Since his somewhat rowdy first years at university, Adam has not been in a long term relationship with anyone, though he is hopeful to find someone in the near future.

For now, however, Adam is focusing on his career in Herbology, and hopes to inspire the minds of his students to go on to do great things.

Family Background
The Samuels were always your run of the mill family, rich enough to live in a small town in Cornwall, but not overly rich that they might live in a big house in the country. Their life was comfortable and nothing out of the ordinary.

Which all changed when their eldest daughter was told she was a witch. Stacey had left for Hogwarts in a very curious manner - if you ask Adam - and it wasn't until he received his own letter that he understood the 'boarding school' his sister was going to. The parents of the children were proud - albeit a little confused to begin with - for their achievements through their school lives, and have supported them through everything they want to do.

Both Lewis and Phillipa have now retired and enjoy their days in their house toddling around with very little to do now that their children have flown the nest.
