When no reaction came from the Slytherin about his blood status, Finley relaxed. It seemed Ezekiel, Zeke, wasn't the stereotypical Slytherin and for that much the younger boy was truly grateful. It was difficult enough making friends without prejudice adding another layer to that.
But what happened next was somewhat unexpected. The older boy simply got up, without real cause and said he needed to go. Finley simply nodded in response to that, watching the boy pick up his things and put them in his bag.
"B-bye, Zeke. I'll s-see you at Hogwarts." Finley said, not really loud enough given the amount of people now here. With a sigh, Finley looked back down at his book, scanning over the words that he'd read until he found where he'd gotten to. It didn't take long to find it either, and quite soon, the boy was submerged in his book once more.
Oblivious to the world and everything around him.
