| On Hogwarts & Beyond it is encouraged that Purebloods are made to be as realistic as possible - this means that they are of a much higher standard in regards to both the writing and the background. The family history must be a minimum of three solid paragraphs, detailing when the family came in to existence, their view of politics of the world, anything defining in their history and anything of note of their current day lives. You must also state the families which your family is tied to and whether you are open to other families being tied to yours. You do not have to open your family to others if you don't wish to, but remember the Pureblood families are usually very tied with other Pureblood families by now. Ties must now be created between the existing families on the site and cannot be tied to Purebloods from canon. Please also include a picture of the family coat of arms. It should be noted that Pureblood status can only be claimed when the first 100 posts are completed by your character. This therefore means you will need to consider if this is something you truly wish to explore in your character. Please use the following form to apply for your Pureblood status: - Code:

Clementia in Potentia Clemency is PowerFamily History: The Clement family are an old pureblood family that began in England in the 12th Century. Building power first in the small isle, the Clement family became one of the largest in Britain. In the late 1600's, Louis Clement - first of his name - moved to Versailles to marry one of the prestigious Noir's, Lady Claudia. It was shortly after this era, through their son, Thomas Clement, that a revolution struck, and the Clements were the centre piece. After rewriting the French history and gaining total control of France in this time period, it is undisputed that the Clement's are one of the most powerful pureblood families in Europe since this time. Being an old pureblood family comes tradition, the Clements are very set in their ways. Each marriage must produce three things to the family; power, wealth and procreation. If one is not adhered to, the marriage will not be fulfilled. Is Your Family Already Connected to Another: Connected (very loosely) to the Black family when it was formerly the Noir family. Also connected to the Malfoy family via distant relations. Is Your Family Open to Connections: No. DEFGHHolmes, Mycroft & Tess- Spoiler:
Family History:The Holmes family date back as a branch family from the Richardson clan. The first intermarriage of Richardson and Holmes came as early as the beginning of the 15th century in France with Eloise Richardson married the powerful Simone Holmes. The union was said to be a political one as the kingdoms were seem to be growing in power due to the age of exploration an colonization. Their biggest rise in power came with being in the Wizarding Round Table, bringing the ideals of Enlightenment and wanting to educate those who needed it. But they were intelligent enough to want to teach it for a price. Their muggle equivalent families rose within the muggle world, but their split was permanent (No one speaks about this nor is willing to acknowledge it). In the magical British world they were most definitely a new influence, with them slowly coming into the United Kingdom. By the eighteenth century they were a force to be reckoned with, being big in their governmental work. Many were seen a brave Aurors or intellectuals who became scholars and/or analyst within the ministry. By the time of the first war, they were seen in the community being as active as possible. Their position during this time was to side with the winners, after all the winners split the check and they rarely did things for free. During the second wizarding war, they permanently moved to France, as they did not want to take part of the war, and the growing power within the unclean community was enough for them to seek exile. But while they did not fight with wands, they fought with words. They exceeded in politics and shined by being the voice of reason. They were good enough to make everyone think they got what they wanted. Trickery at it's finest. Family crest: - Spoiler:
Families connected to: Richardson Family is open to connections: Tentatively yes with PM IJKLMMurray, Joshua- Spoiler:
Family History: The Murrays are arguably the oldest English family that remains at its stronghold in modern times. Originally rumoured to be a group of landowners and feudal lords from all across Europe who decided to combine their land, wealth, influence and banner to reign over most of the European continent, they were among the few families who saw the wisdom of downsizing to keep the family pure. As a result, the 14th century Murray history is rich with murder, disgrace and disownment of individuals who, for one reason or another, were not fit to be seen as members of their elitist group. Giving up or trading settlements from all across Europe to concentrate on a larger area within one kingdom made the family immensely powerful where they reigned for generations and still do to this day. The vast Murray lands make up approximately half of the country’s land mass found in Great Britain not only because of early acquisition before formal governments were set in but also because the Murrays chose not to “lose” any lands by intermarrying among themselves. A popular saying related to them is “Murray Fortune Stays in the Family”. The ritual of intermarriage also made sure the crimes of the fourteenth century that plagued the family would not repeat themselves. Today, the Murrays are the very definition of “old money” and highly orthodox in their views. They keep to themselves most of the time and are very strict about marriage outside the family. They were also one of the few families that weren’t swept up by Voldemort’s propaganda because they saw the holes in it and often laughed at in private gatherings. In their opinion, true blood needs no approval, needs to win nothing and does not stoop to the level of common folk to justify itself. Their opinions on Muggles are nonexistent because “one does not have opinions on the doings of insects outside one’s castle window”. Family crest: - Spoiler:
Families connected to:Only three connections have been recorded in the family over the last two hundred years. The marriage of Elizabeth Royce to Theodore Murray in 1899, the marriage of Catherine Sheridan to Joseph Murray in 1922 and most recently, the marriage of Ophelia Malfoy to Thaddeus Murray in 1947. The Murrays do not marry their males out, rather marry female in as a last resort. As the last Sheridan is now a Clement, the Murrays are, very distantly, related to the Clements. Family is open to connections: No. NOPPeters, Elleon (now Caverly) - Spoiler:
Family History:The Peters can trace their ancestry very far back to when a member married a distant female relative of the Richardsons. They made their money through investing in high class businesses, opening and starting their own businesses - including a prestigious and highly sought after fashion line, multiple restaurants and of course, properties. They own several islands, castles and housing lines Power and fame came through business dealings with other Purebloods and the Peters were known as being ruthless, sly, cunning and yet outwardly charming businessmen. They were able to manipulate, persuade and coerce people they were dealing with into agreeing with whatever terms/conditions/contract/agreement they wanted without them even realising they were being manipulated. In regards to their beliefs and thinking, the Peters absolutely uphold Pureblood ‘rules’ and do not give an inch no matter the cost. This meant looking down on Muggles, Muggleborns, and Half-bloods, no interaction with them unless strictly for business and when it would profit them. Marriage was carefully planned so that their status, power and wealth would only increase. No misbehaviour were tolerated and they only accepted the best of everything. It was perfection or nothing at all (which was why they had to get rid of Elleon when he became Deaf). All these values were passed down to the modern day Peters. Now, the Peters hardly work and instead enjoy reaping the effects of their ancestors’ work, hiring managers to deal with the business side of things and checked in regularly to see that everything is in order.
