Crumbling Pieces [Elyah & Max][Mature content - Rape attempt]

When Elyah spoke about keeping all this a secret, she had her reasons. This was not something she was going to share easily with others, especially with her father and the Headmaster. Her father loved her and cared for her, and that made Elyah feel obliged to protect him from such disgrace. Truth be told, it wasn't her choice. She had not chosen to be almost raped. But still, she had allowed those actions to get this far and for that she felt responsible.

"Who cares if he's powerful, Elyah! So is your dad! You can't let him get away with what he did to you! And what if he tries the same on someone else, and their friend's don't get there in time? What if they're not as lucky as you were tonight? We can stop him, Elyah, but you have to tell the Headmaster!"

Max though, was right. His words jerked her back to her senses and Elyah looked up at him, sadness in her eyes. But he was right and she knew that very well. Though he couldn't understand how difficult it was for the Hufflepuff to talk about this to others. It would be painful and she would need support. She would need him.

"Yes, my father is quite powerful, you are right, Max. And I could never allow Nathan to do something like this to anyone else. If ever found out that a girl was raped because I was too scared to speak a word... I would hate myself.."

Elyah hid her face into the Gryffindor's chest, seeking all the comfort she would take from him. He was her precious friend. Her precious everything. And he had been there, and still is, for anything she ever needed.

"You think your dad will think you want this? Because it's not what you wanted! Elyah, you're... you're being silly. This is important!"

"I know! Maybe I overreacted a little bit.. Plus, there's Yolanda. She would understand me and she would explain everything to my dad. I trust her."
But Elyah didn't feel like she was ready to talk, still. She just felt broken, nervous, scared. She was lost. A little girl who couldn't stand up for herself.

"I'll come with you, if you're worried, I'll sit with you through it all, and fill in the part when I arrived, you wouldn't have to do it alone, Elyah. I wouldn't let you do something like that alone. But if you don't do it, Nathan is going to get away with this..

At that, Elyah smiled into his chest and pulled back the slightest bit to look at her best friend. The most handsome man she had ever seen. The biggest idiot in her life.
"Please... Please, don't leave me."
And with that, Elyah allowed her small hands to cup his face before she slowly crushed her lips to his once more.

The right idea moving forward because it could save many other girls from the horrible fate she'd nearly been through. "It'll be fine, I promise. We'll make everyone see that it wasn't what you wanted and that Nathan has to pay for what he did." Max insisted softly, holding the Hufflepuff close to his chest in reassurance that this was going to be okay.

Though what happened after she'd agreed with him made Max go still.

For the second time that night, Elyah's lips were on his and Max felt his mind cloud for a brief moment, accepting the kiss, kissing her back gently . For a brief couple of moments he allowed it to happen before Max pulled away from the kiss and shook his head.

"Elyah... I can't... we... we shouldn't. Not after... it's not right." Max tried to explain in that moment because he didn't feel completely comfortable. Hiss best friend was in a vulnerable place in that moment. It felt like he was taking advantage of the situation, and in the end... that would make him no better than Nathan.

Even if he had feelings for the Hufflepuff and wanted nothing more than to kiss her all night, Max couldn't.

Max kept trying to persuade her that everything would be fine and that if she spoke to the Headmaster, she could prevent this from happening to her, or to other girls, again. Nathan would be in big trouble and he would blame her for everything, she was sure, but Elyah would have her father alongside her. Yolanda too, and certainly, Max. He had promised he wouldn't let her go. Max always kept his promises.

And that was why she had allowed herself to follow her heart and kiss him, show him what he truly meant for her. He was not just another friend. He was much more than that. And she had been too blind, too weak to even understand this. But the reaction she got in return made her sick to the stomach. Max had kissed her back, but it all ended too soon, before she even had the chance to smile.
And what followed next made her want to cry.

"Elyah... I can't... we... we shouldn't. Not after... it's not right."

Elyah knew he was doing this out of defense. He was more worried about her and because of that, he felt uncomfortable too. As if he was taking advantage of what had happened. But he was being an idiot because it was not his fault. She was the one expressing her feeling. And she was not going to let him stop her, just because he was being an idiot.

"Max, shut up."
It was a demand but her tone wasn't cold or mean. No, she would never talk to Max that way. But she wanted to make him understand that she knew what she was doing and she was sure about it. She wanted Max, and she wanted him now.
"Shut up and kiss me, damn it!"

Elyah once again pulled him closer, kissing his lips more furiously than before. He was keeping her calm. His kisses didn't make her uncomfortable. They made her stronger, and far more positive for what was to come.

But Max did not have the chance to finish as Elyah pulled him into another kiss. The first one was used to silence him while she was trying to fix the broken arm he received, all to save her from the abusive boyfriend he had warned her about more than a few times. Max cared about her more than a friend did. And it took Elyah quite some time to understand that she too felt the same way about him. She wanted him to be hers. And she would do everything to achieve that.

She was aware that Max had little to no experience in kissing or any of these sort, but instead of turning her off, this intrigued her and aroused her even more. The feel that she was going to be the one showing him all these new experiences in life made her want to moan in his mouth. Thoughts of him in her bed, where she would show him true pleasure filled her head and Elyah tried to pull herself together before things went too far. Kissing was enough for one night, since both of them were not really ready for this.

Pulling back after some time, Elyah got comfortable in his arms once more, smiling as she softly placed her head on his chest, listening to his hear beat fast. Lacing their fingers together, Elyah closed her eyes and took a big breath, just taking a few minutes to calm herself down and this over everything that had happened today. It was both, the worst and best day of her life. In a weird way.

"I am glad you never left me... And I am so sorry for what I am, Max. I am so sorry for treating you the way I did during our first years. I am sorry I am just an annoying moody short girl that loves to torment people... And mostly.. I am sorry I never got the chance to.."

Elyah sighed, opening her eyes and looking up at him. She didn't know if she was able to say it. Truth was, she was really scared to tel him this. But she just had to risk it. She only had one life and she would live it to the fullest.
"I am sorry I never got to tell you how deeply in love with you I am, Max."
