Astronomy: Lesson One - What is Astronomy (All Years)

Ever since school had got back in session Ryder had been still trying to get used to waking up at a normal time. Since he spent his summer basically sleeping away and causing trouble. Which soon caught up with him as he woke up and realized that he was late for his class since after dinner he decided to take a nap.

Soon leading to Ryder getting up and soon realized that he had Astronomy and he sighed, he hated the fact that he had classes and he felt there was no need for them as he got up and soon decided to run to his Astronomy class since it was not smart being late for his first day of Astronomy, even though the truth was he did not care or had the ability to care.

The twelve year old had made his way to Astronomy with a smirk on his face as she soon arrived to it and he knew he was late as he entered and he just held a smile on his face as he entered the classroom and soon he walked in and he went in the back and took a seat waiting to see if the new professor would notice.

Tristan had been uneasy ever since he was discharged from St. Mungos a month prior to his return to Hogwarts, and he still had not became himself again and his parents were worried after he would go back to Hogwarts, as he soon walked thinking about what his parents said as he soon felt himself becoming meaner.

The Slytherin soon walked to his Astronomy class hoping that nobody would notice his uneasiness and try to get him help since he was after all bit by a werewolf and he entered the classroom and he looked around and he rolled his eyes.

The sad part was he used to like his classes, until he came back and seemed to not really care anymore as he took a seat in the back and watched as students were already there and he was late and he used to care but now he knew that meant nobody could notice him being uneasy and let him get better himself.

Eros was displeased when not many people were eager to answer his questions. They seemed like they knew the basics, but on the contrary, they weren't able to answer even the simplest question someone could ask about astronomy. It made him furious that he had believed them when they spoke of knowledge on this subject. It was pathetic.

But thankfully, one student named Izzy decided it was time to speak up and answer his questions. Thankfully, the answer wasn't as bad as he had expected, and that calmed him down just a bit. He was not going to rage on them on the first day, but if this was the reaction he would be getting from now on, he was going to have to take very serious measures.

"Good answer, Izzy. Five points to Hufflepuff!"
Eros' eyes darted across the classroom, quite a bit annoyed by the lateness of not one, but three students. One of them had the courtesy of apologizing, or well, his interpreter did. Eros smiled at the boy, but warned him not to do it again, then turned to the next two students that didn't even bother to apologize.

"As for you two, five points from Gryffindor and Slytherin alike, for absence of manners."
Turning back to his class, Eros smiled once again and moved on to the next question.
"What's a constellation and why is it important for us to recognize them?"

Ryder had hoped that it would go off like a hitch that he would manage to be successful at being late, and how he would not get in too much trouble. Even though his thoughts of caring were not exactly that he really cared what he did or did not do right, since his caring abilities on what he does were slim.

Then soon much to his twelve year old dismay the professor had not been stupid and him getting in trouble was quite common as of know and he looked and he listened as the Professor noticed and took points from both Slytherin and Gryffindor as he looked and saw another student had been late.

Soon listening as the professor said it was five points for absence of manners and Ryder looked and he smirked, and said.

" Sorry Professor. " said Ryder as he sat back and let out a smirk and soon listened as he asked a question which was what was a constellation, and why was it important for them to recoginze it and he smiled, and he said raised his hand and said.

" A constellation, is a group of stars, which have places all over the world which means one can see them in thoe certain spots and how some people even use those names as names for their children, and there eight in the sky, and it is important and in time they were used for navigational purposes and how people in those dates thought of them as a sign from the gods from heavens. " smiled Ryder hoping this could clear his lateness up.

Since he did not want his house hating him, even though he did not care what others thought of him, what could he saw he loved getting himself into trouble, and finding a way to clear it up, he was quite sneaky as time grew on and as he sat and hoped this could clear it up.

Truth be told Tristan was nervous, since if he got caught word would spread to his parents quite quickly, and how he would expect a whole big lecture in a howler how he would be making his new found nature known and he did not want that this was his secret, and he was not fond of it, but he had not make it known.

Then all to his dismay upon answering the classroom the professor sure found him and was not stupid, and as students answered questions the professor had seemingly took notice to the fact that he was late alongside another boy and how he had soon taken five points for absence of manners which made Tristan sigh.

" Sorry professor, I had overslept, and I promise it won't happen again, I swear it won't happen again. " said Tristan in a sad tone as he soon saw the other boy let out a smirk as if he did not care, was this boy really going to just sit and watch.

Then listening as a question was asked about what a constellation was and why was it important to recognize them, and soon Tristan clenched his fist as he watched the boy right by him answer the question was this boy going to try to act like nothing happened and answer it.

Tristan figured this boy was just one who loved causing trouble and would do anything to make sure he had cleared it up, so he loved hiding his tracks it seemed as Tristan just rolled his eyes.

Cole had loved his classes and for the most part he was on time, unless somehow he was tired and overslept which happened a lot, but did he care not really, but the good part was he kept a pretty decent grades with having mostly Outstandings on his OWLS, except for Herbology which he did horrible in, with getting Exceed Expectations, but the seventeen year old did not care.

As he soon thought as had known he was late for Astronomy which was something he did not care for since Muggle Studies and Transfiguration was much more interesting and Quidditch, and soon the seventh year had been strolling up to his class thinking of ways he would apologize to his professor.

Since not apologizing was not going to get anyone where so why do others try to get themselves off clean, he had no clue and he had no answers, and probably will not have answers anytime soon. Since for the past seven years he apologized for so much.

Then soon he had arrived at the tower and he let out a smirk as he walked up and he soon entered to see that class had started, and he looked and saw the professor did not seem to happy, so he walked up and he said.

" I am very sorry for being late I had got caught up studying. " said Cole which was true he was studying for other things besides Astronomy, and was happy that this would be the last year he would be required to take Astronomy.

Sophie could not believe that she soon realized that she late for her classes, as she been too busy studying for her OWLS and not bothering to look at the time as she soon rushed out of her common room and had been nervous since she never really been late.

Then soon the fifteen year old began running to her class as she hoped she looked somewhat decent for class, as soon she looked and went to the tower which the class was being held as she soon walked into the tower and up the stairs in which she heard voices.

Sophie soon got up and she had soon saw the professor was there and she soon turned to see her brother. Then she rolled her eyes how did he manage to get to class before her, and to a class he had no interest in.

The Gryffindor soon looked at the professor and she let out a smile, and she said. " I am so sorry, I was studying for my OWLS, and I promise I will not be late again. " she said as she soon shoot a glance at her brother.

Soon managing to make her way to him, and she said.

" How did you manage to get to class before me? To a class you have regard for? " asked Sophie with her arms crossed.
