Astronomy Lesson 2 (Years 5-7) Empty
PostSubject: Astronomy Lesson 2 (Years 5-7)   Astronomy Lesson 2 (Years 5-7) EmptyFri Jun 12, 2015 4:04 am

It was 9:30 pm. Ari smiled as she got to the Astronomy tower. This was her first lesson with the older students and she was excited to share everything that she had to offer. She decided that since the younger students had a very vague idea about what Astronomy actually was that she would teach them the basic's, and the older students had a broader vision about what Astronomy was, so she would just fill them in. She had sent owls to every student that signed up and told them to dress comfy, as they would be there for most of the night looking at stars. She set telescopes up all around the tower. There should be enough for each student, or enough to where two people had to share.

Tonight she wore her favorite pair of purple sweats, a black shirt, and a pink jacket. Her long wavy red hair was up in a messy bun to keep it out of her face. The weather would be a little windy so she didn't want her hair getting in the way of her teaching these kids what she knew. As she got set up, she looked up at the sky. It was clear and the stars were ready to be observed. Ari was officially excited, and actually hoped people would show up as it was such a late hour.

When Victoria had received the owl from their professor, she'd been excited to have a lesson that evening. Hurrying up the stairs, Victoria slipped through the door to the tower, enjoying the cool breeze of the evening.

"Good evening, professor!" Victoria greeted the witch, waiting for further instructions as to what they would be doing. Looking at the stars, Victoria imagined, which was exciting in itself. But, she didn't like to jump to conclusions.

Instead, Victoria placed her bag by the wall out of the way, and waited for her peers to join her. She was glad she'd pulled on a jumper, because the tower was quite nippy at this time of year. The lesson was likely to be worth it though, the professor wouldn't have called them up here.

Looking up to the sky, Victoria wondered which stars she was looking at, but until she had her charts, she wasn't quite sure.

Amalia had frowned at the letter, putting it down on her nightstand and looking around her room. The witch didn't have any particularly 'comfy' clothes - and her pyjamas wouldn't be appropriate for sitting atop of the astronomy tower for a lot of the night. She started rifling through her clothes, pulling out a pair of black jeans and a thick woollen jumper.

After making sure she didn't look the usual mess that she did after a day's worth of lessons, the witch grabbed her bag and made her way up to the astronomy tower. It was a trek, but Amalia liked the stars - horoscopes and all that jazz helped her confirm her identity; she swore by them.

When she reached the top of the staircase, the witch shrugged her bag off her shoulder and pushed it to the wall. "Good evening," she greeted the professor with a smile, turning to Victoria with a nod of acknowledgement for the head girl.
