Ari brought up a chalk board to the Astronomy tower. Since it was daylight, she wanted to start the younger years with beginning stuff. They really needed to understand Astronomy before they started messing around with telescopes and looking at stars. She wrote a couple questions on the board:

What are stars made of?
What is the biggest star in the galaxy?
What makes a star shine?

Ari smiled and nodded. Those questions would get them ready for the big night when they would look through the telescopes for the first time. She then wrote below the safety rules.

Don't go near the edge without permission
Don't touch the telescopes unless given permission
Anybody caught breaking these two rules will receive detention.

Ari nodded at the rules. They seemed fair enough. She pulled her wavy red hair into a pony tail and wiped the chalk dust from her robes. She stood next to the board and waited for the students to arrive.

When Astronomy had come up on Jacques' timetable, he had thought about skipping the lesson. Thankfully, it was during the day, otherwise the Slytherin would most certainly not have bothered to attend. Trudging up to the tower (Jacques didn't much like going higher than the third floor), the Slytherin slipped through the door.

Only the professor was there, and Jacques wasn't really one for conversation. Instead, he moved to the back of the room and took up a seat, already with his head resting in his arms on the table. The sooner this was over and done with, the better.

Not moving for his book, or notebook, Jacques simply waited, quite obviously not interested in getting ready to learn, just waiting for it to be over. He half wondered who would be joining him, likely the same faces as always, i.e. no one of interest.

Alberi had left early for this lesson, seeing as it was in the Astronomy Tower. Overall he hated stairs and being in the Gryffindor Tower was awful. Just another reason to hate that house even more... Yet it sucked most that he was in it. Everyone was so obnoxious and loud, he can't concentrate. And going all the way down to do something... No, it was obvious that this house sucked.

The boy was surprised to find out he was in fact second. He then ugh he'd be last, knowing how much he hated sports and exercise. He had a quick glance at the boy. Some Slytherin. Alberi didn't really know if he liked him or not, as he paid more attention to people who acted like idiots. At least this gut didn't seem such. After his glance, he walked confidently to the front of the room. He had started to go over his embarrassing situation with the Hippogriff.

Looking up to the board, he read the questions and rules. That was when he noticed the telescopes around. He rather liked them, he always been fond of Astronomy. From his Physics book, that was always the most interesting part. Though he often knew what it was about, really... And that still didn't make him love it less.

Naomi climbed the stairs to the Astronomy Tower with Finley, discussing the addition of Astronomy to the school. She hadn't had Astronomy before, but she was very fond of the night and she enjoyed stargazing, so all in all, she thought she'd enjoy the class. It all depended on the professor, she supposed, and she hoped this one wasn't as mean as some of the others she'd had the misfortune to have before.

When they reached the top, Naomi took a deep breath happily. The Astronomy Tower was one of her favorite places as she loved heights. scanning the board, she noted that they weren't allowed near the edge without permission. Disappointing, but understandable.

Taking a seat near the front, Naomi pulled her supplies out of her bag. Almost absentmindedly, she began sketching the view from her seat on her piece of parchment that was meant for taking notes.
