After the Party (Prim and Max) Empty
PostSubject: After the Party (Prim and Max)   After the Party (Prim and Max) EmptyTue Mar 14, 2017 9:19 pm

The party had gone as well as she had expected; which is to say that it had literally been blasting with music, there was lots of dancing and just as much drinking really what with the alochol being supplied by the Seventh Years. Thankfully Prim had the mind to only drink a few shots of firewhiskey before she stopped, it wouldn't do for her to actually go back drunk to the Common Room where she was sure Max was waiting for her; he had been so put out when he had seen her that she had promised to spend time with him afterwards so she needed to be sober for that, not to mention she had strayed from drinking too much because as much as she loved being with Max she knew that alcohol would lower her guard and she would've probably been stuck with some guy in a dark corner and she didn't want that. She was faithful and she planned on staying faithful to Max, at least until they decided they didn't work out in a romantic sense.

She was quiet in walking back to the Gryffindor Common, what with her heels being held in her hand and she was literally walking barefoot. The shiny sheen of sweat that clung to her was the only indication that she was doing something but not many people would guess what. She was suddenly thankful for the clothes that she had worn to the party as it meant that she hadn't gotten as sweaty and hot as many other people.

She tip-toed up to the portrait and stated the password before stepping inside, thankful for the fact that it was way past people's bedtime and the common room had long been abandoned. She made her way over to the couch and collapsed on it, throwing her shoes down next to the couch and she finally relaxed her feet, considering she had been on them for most of the time, dancing and sociolizing.

After the Party (Prim and Max) Empty
PostSubject: Re: After the Party (Prim and Max)   After the Party (Prim and Max) EmptyWed Mar 15, 2017 6:09 pm

Max had been very confused when he'd seen Prim all dressed up and heading down to the Common Room that evening. Whilst he was not a suspicious person - Merlin knew the idea of cheating was rather foreign to him - he didn't understand why Prim couldn't tell him where she was going. The confusion must have shown, for the witch insisted she would explain when she got back.

His question of 'from where' was muffled by her lips on his, though, and Max had simply called after her to say that he would wait for her in the common room.

And, Max had. Taking up his copy of Fantastic Beasts and where to find them, Max had sat in the armchair by the fire reading for some time, smiling to himself at the thoughts of getting each and every one of the beasts - especially a dragon - was a wonderful kind of idea. The night had grown longer, though, the Common Room quieter, until Max had fallen asleep in the chair, and the lights had dimmed in the common room as people left.

It was the lights coming back in to life - something they did at this hour, that brought Max back around from his slumber, somewhat groggy until his eyes landed on Primrose. A smile touched the boy's features in that moment as he sat up a little bit straighter.

"Good time?" Max asked sleepily, blinking his eyes a few time to get them to work, and cooperate with the light that was attacking them. He'd get up in a moment, and join Prim, but he was still trying to wake up properly.

Prim hadn't realized there had been anyone in the common room until that very moment when Max spoke up and startled her so badly that she actually squeaked and jumped from her place on the couch, her eyes wide in shock before she huffed out and lightly whacked her boyfriend on the arm. "Don't scare me like that." She grumbled with a soft whine, her head naturally lolling sideways to fall on the shoulder next to her, her eyes slipping close.

"Mmm, it was alright." She replied to his question as she tucked her legs under her, rubbing her hands together. It was a little bit too cold to be in the common room in nothing more then a very revealing shirt and a pair of very short shorts but she had no energy to go up to the common room to actually change into something warmer. "Not many people but enough to actually have a good time without others being in your space or without any fights."

"I'm sorry for not telling you where I went." She apologized with a soft smile upon her lips as she looked up at him. "I wasn't able to."

"Scare you..? You were the one that woke me up!" Max retorted, rubbing his arm where she'd hit him - though it hadn't been too hard - before letting out a soft laugh. He hadn't meant to scare her, but, Max didn't always mean to do many things that happened around him.

Pushing himself off the armchair, Max joined her on the sofa, via a quick stop at the blanket on the other armchair. Draping it over the witch, and a little of himself, Max got comfy once again, sitting and stretching his neck from side to side where it had gone stiff from falling asleep sat up.

"Well... technically you've still not told me where you went... but I'll take a guess it was some kind of party?" Max hummed softly as she looked up at him with a smile. "Though, that doesn't explain why you're dressed like that..." Max explained, though he was merely thinking out loud. He was not the controlling type, and in honesty, he quite liked the outfit she was wearing. Max, not being very social or even deemed to be 'cool' was not bothered about the party - if that was where Prim had been.

"I'm glad you had a good time, though. I was re-reading Fantastic Beasts. The Niffler is my next target for acquisition." He confided in his girlfriend, the smile on his lips perhaps suggesting that he didn't mean it, but it was Max, if he was ever serious about anything, it was magical creatures.

Though, his brain flitted back to the party she'd just attended.

"If you got an invite... how come I couldn't go too? Aren't there normally plus one things on invitations?"

"Mmm, you scared me. I was deep in my mind you know." Prim pouted up at Max with her eyes large and practically having the puppy-eyed look. It worked on most people but she didn't know if it would work on her boyfriend as well considering the fact that Max got that look down to a pat as well.

"Yup, it was a party." She cuddled up to Max, her arm resting on stomach as she curled even further into the boy, a soft smile playing on her lips. "Well I just wanted to dress nice and..." Here she grinned teasingly at Max. "I enjoyed your reaction to how I was dressed." She poked his side as she leant up to press a kiss to his cheek. "Not to mention it would've gotten too hot if I went in a pair of jeans. It was literally boiling in the room by the time we were even half way through the party."

"The Niffler? Really?" She whined softly though a soft smile was upon her lips. "I didn't get the plus one.. Not many people did who came. I think there was only a handful out of everyone that got invited who could bring a plus one but that was mainly the sixth and seventh years who everyone knows are dating someone. Our relationship is still pretty new." She pointed out with a soft smile.

Max let out a soft chuckle at the puppy eyes he was given by his girlfriend. It didn't work - Buckle had tried something much the same when Max had explained that he couldn't have another earwig because he would get fat. The twig like creature had not liked that at all, and tried the puppy eyes, Max had won out though. Of course, Max wasn't comparing Primrose to his animals, though. "Fine, fine, I'm sorry!" Max told her with a small grin. Though, it was probably obvious he wasn't completely sorry.

The confirmation that she had been to a party simply made Max nod to show he'd listened. Truthfully, he didn't care much further than that. The who, what and where wasn't of interest to him. But he'd listen if Primrose decided to talk on that subject.

"You do look nice." Max replied with a nod at the comment on Prim wanting to look nice. The next comment, though, brought a light hue to Max's cheeks. "What?I..." Max got a little bit flustered, especially with the poke followed by a kiss on his cheek, because... well, Prim's attire left little to the imagination, and Max's was not one to be tamed. Only since he'd starting Prim (and it had been only a short time) had he started to realise what appreciating the opposite sex meant. He still had a long way to go, in that department, but he couldn't deny that he found Primrose more than attractive.

"Well... I'm glad you didn't go in jeans." Max mumbled softly in reply.

"Mmhmm. The Niffler. What's so bad about that?" Max asked, because (as always when it came to animals) he didn't see a problem with having any of them.

"Oh, that's okay then." Max replied to the plus one part. He wasn't too bothered. Parties and him weren't a good mix, and Prim probably had more fun without him being there, anyway. Which was okay.

The brunette was fairly aware that her puppy-dog eyes didn't work purely because she could hear that Max wasn't completely sorry about scaring her. Well it was her fault as well, considering the fact that she didn't have her guard up and she had been just thinking random thoughts. "You're forgiven." She huffed though a small smile had been on her lips.

The secrecy that came with the party meant that the brunette couldn't tell people what was going on there purely because she knew that some people just wouldn't be able to keep their mouths shut around Professors and she did want to get another invite soon if there was going to be another party.

"Thank you." She smiled at Max before giggling softly at her boyfriends flustered state; it was so amusing seeing the other boy get flustered but she knew the reason for that was purely because she was his first girlfriend and he had no prior experiance when it came to this. Though it's not like she was any better, considering the fact that Max was her first boyfriend as well.

"Mmm, I'm glad too." She would've been boiling in jeans by that time and she didn't think it would've been nice to just be so hot in that room.

"Nothing." She shook her head at his question. "I suppose I shouldn't be that surprised you are going for the Niffler."

She didn't say anything to that and instead just stayed snuggled up to her boyfriend, enjoying the rare quietness of the common room that enabled them to be alone in the room.

After the Party (Prim and Max) Empty
PostSubject: Re: After the Party (Prim and Max)   After the Party (Prim and Max) EmptySat Mar 18, 2017 6:10 pm

"It's not funny!" Max told her with a small laugh of his own as Prim giggled at his flustered state. It wasn't fair, that she could make him feel so... Max wasn't sure of the word, truthfully, but she made his tummy flip a little when he saw her dressed like that. Amongst other things. It was unfair, because he was sure he couldn't do the same thing.

Not that he'd asked.

"Niffler, or an owl, I was talking to a girl called Nora in the Owlery the other day, and she said they were useful." Max explained, giving a small shrug. "I'll have to see." He finalised, because he didn't think getting a Niffler would be easy...

As Prim snuggled closer to him, Max smiled at her, giving her a moment, before deciding that there could be a better way for them to cuddle. With a few moves to shift himself, Max set himself on the sofa, led out a little more comfortably, thankful that the common room sofas were quite deep. Prim was at the back, so that she couldn't fall off, and Max perched on the side closest to the edge, turning on his side and draping his arm over his girlfriend.

"You know..." Max started, pausing to move the blanket to cover him as well, and setting his head on the pillow, watching Prim for a moment before he continued. "You said when I found a girlfriend I might find out what snogging is like..." The Gryffindor said, raising an eyebrow and trying not to look too amused in that moment. He might be pushing his luck a little bit - and undoubtedly putting himself in a very awkward position - but you didn't get if you didn't ask.

"It is." Prim giggled softly. "It's rare seeing you so flustered you know." She teased the boy with a grin on her lips. Max was very easy to like and just as easy to be around and more often than not, Prim found herself wondering just where her boyfriend was at times.

"...Either one would work for you I suppose." She hummed and made note to find out just who this Nora was. If she was just as much of a fan of animals like Max than she would make sure to stay the hell away from both of them if she ever saw them together.

She let a small squeak escape her lips when she suddenly found herself on her side on the couch, her eyes wide and her cheeks lightly flushed; her heart was pretty much hammering against her chest but she didn't mind and instead she wrapped her own arm around Max's waist.

"You want to know?" Prim questioned with an arched brow before she tilted her head up and pressed a light kiss to his lips. "I suppose we can practice." She whispered against them, her cheeks flushed darkly and her eyes lidded as she curled a hand into Max's shirt.

Max pouted as Primrose teased him - playfully of course - before simply smiling at her words. He couldn't be mad at her for being amused, that would be totally unfair of him, but his flustered state was not exactly something he could control. "Well, that's good. I wouldn't want you to do it to me too often!" Max replied, trying to defend himself, but not totally bothered by it all.

"Or maybe I could get both... Though Freddo might get a little jealous..." Max commented, but by this point, he was mostly talking to himself, not Primrose. Giving a small shrug, the Gryffindor focused back on his girlfriend, instead of his potential next pet.

The squeak that left Prim as he moved to lay down with her made Max begin to laugh. "What was that?" He asked in respect of the noise that just left her, eyes glistening with amusement as they settled down. It was cute, but Merlin he hadn't expected it!

"Only if it's okay..." Max managed before Primrose pressed her lips lightly to his, making his mind go temporarily blank as his eyes closed. Kissing had become much easier - they'd kissed a few times now, but it still made him feel giddy. In a good way. A small smile touched Max's lips as she pulled away, and he opened his eyes again, taking in the witch before him once more.

The acceptance of his request made Max smile more widely. His heart beginning to beat faster with anticipation, Max bit his lower lip for a moment, taking in Primrose's flushed cheeks. "You're blushing..." Max murmured, trying not to sound amused at that idea. Honestly, Prim looked even more pretty when she was blushing, but Max didn't know whether he should say something like that, so instead, he inched closer, and pressed another soft kiss on her lips, feeling her hand hold on to his shirt in that moment.

His mind asked why she was doing that, but his body was eager to try this snogging thing Primrose had mentioned before... except, he wasn't experienced in that area, so he waited for Prim to take the lead... or, tell him how to do this thing.
