Coffee Shop Visit (Lucy(Janey))

Adeline was still deciding what she wanted to do with her life. She had thought of going to University but now was already a bit late for it. Also, she had no idea what she would study even there. She had now so much free time on her hands for sure. She had no idea what to do with most of her time.

Today she had decided to go to just have a walk around a London. It wasn't wizarded part for sure, it was actually muggled London. Adel was just enjoying walking there when it suddenly began to rain, she didn't really like it that much. She was wearing currently jeans, sneakers, t-shirt, cardigan and then coat top of them. So young woman walked into some random coffee shop what was near there. She sighed when she noticed that so many people had the same idea as her.

Adeline soon found one empty table there and sat down there. She wasn't really here for coffee but when one waitress or so came to take then she did order one Latte. Why not drink something warm awhile she waits rain to be over.

Lucy had never been one to make friends, especially not easily. She had however been working on it since she had graduated Hogwarts. She made it her mission to talk to one random person per week to get her established in the talking department.

Today it was pelting down rain so she had decided to go into a coffee shop and get a soy mocha latte deluxe. A treat she let herself have sometimes. Looking around she saw there weren't a whole lot of tables free Instead there was one with a girl who didn't seem like she had resting bitch face so perhaps she would be okay to talk to.

Walking over Lucy tucked a piece of hair behind her ear, "Is this seat taken ?" She asked the witch, an air of uncertainty behind her. Merlin this trying to talk to people never got any easier. Not for her anyway. At least in the shop it was on her terms.

Lucy tried not to stare at the girl as she waited for an answer, she needed a simple yes or no.

Soon after Adeline had ordered her coffee it was brought to her. So she was sitting there quietly and was drinking her coffee quietly. She was also thinking about what she should do. So she didn't really much attention around here. Tables were slowly filling with people and hers wasn't really until she heard some woman speak.

Adeline looked up from her coffee cup and smiled. "No this isn't taken. You can sit if you want," she said to the woman. She didn't really mind if she did sit there or not. She was actually getting bored here all alone. So the company would be actually nice.

"The weather outside is terrible yes?" she asked something random. She took a sip from her coffee and waited for her reply. She just decided to keep to conversation up some way and well this was one way for sure to talk about the weather.

Lucy smiled gratefully as she was told she could sit and quickly did so. "Thanks." She said to the woman and put her own coffee down.

Tucking another piece of stray hair behind her, she smiled and looked outside briefly before answering. "Yeah it's pretty crappy." she agreed, "Luckily I don't have to be out in it. So what is your plan? Just grabbing a coffee or going for a lazy afternoon with a coffee."

The way she sat showed she was a little nervous, she didn't know how to approach people all the time.

The weather continued to get worse, it was really pouring down and she saw people hurrying to grab umbrella's and such. Or ducking inside coffee shops. People were bunching up. Luckily she and the girl she had sat next to were on a two person booth only so they weren't going to have a poor drenched sodden person joining them.

Adeline smiled. She was glad it was someone who seemed nice at least. Today wasn't sure going like she hoped for so far. Well, at least she met someone new. That's was an only good thing in her day.

"I just came here shelter from that rain what is outside. I didn't really have any plans anyways. So nothing wasn't ruined. Anyways when I was already here I decided to order one cup of coffee," she explained there now. She had nothing planned for sure.

"What about you?" she asked back there now. Seemed like a way to keep the talk up. She took a sip from her coffee. It wasn't really like her to be so hard to come up with ideas about what to talk. "I'm Adeline," she decided to introduce herself, at least tell her first name. They will be here together for awhile. Well in this two people booth.
