Bryar doesn't really care about anyone but his mother. He used to be a good boy but being around others who weren't so good changed him. He doesn't care to socialize with anyone except the few friends he has. He gets in trouble a lot and oftentimes when there is trouble he can be found.

Background
Taron met Lori while he was on leave. She became pregnant and had Bryar less than a year later. They loved the boy and their parents loved each other. It wasn't until Bryar was 7 years old that his dad never came home. A man came and visited him and his mother and told them that his father had died in the line of duty and that he couldn't explain why because it was all classified. He did say that his father had died a hero though and that if they ever needed anything at all to call on him.
Bryar never forgot that day and it never let him forget it. His mother changed for the worse. She started to hang with the wrong people and eventually got with a worthless piece of crap. Jack Barrow was nothing but a user and it was all he ever did. Bryar was afraid to do anything because he was afraid that his mother would get hurt in the process.
When he was 11 he got a letter from a place called Hogwarts. He made sure to never let anyone see the letter as he honestly didn’t want to know what would happen if anyone found out. He was skeptical at first but it made sense. Sometimes when he was angry enough doors would slam shut and one time a bunch of glasses broke. He was lucky enough that Jack wasn't there that day.
Skip by to age 15 and Bryar is not living a good life. He goes to Hogwarts but he is a little rebellious. Sorted into Gryffindor he epitomizes what they stand for. He is brave and adventurous. His mother is with a jackass of a man that isn't even worth mentioning in Bryar's book. He does not like him but is scared of him and his mother’s safety. He was scared to use his magic because he was afraid that Jack would hurt him or his mother if he found out what he was.
He barely passed his classes but managed to scrap through with enough to pass. He only ever told his mother what he was because he was afraid that Jack would hurt them if he knew about it. She in turn told Jack that he went to a boarding school so Jack never knew.
Skip to after he graduated. Bryar loves his mother so much that he wants to get rid of Jack for good. He knows that if he heads down that road it will forever change him. He lives day by day; scraping by with what little he can and stealing the rest. His magic has come in quite handy for these moments. He tends to stay away from his home as much as possible to keep away from Jack.
Family
Lori Scott - 45 - Mother of Bryar. She used to be such a lovely woman when Bryar's father was alive but after the incident something changed in her. It was like her soul had been ripped from her. She was just a shell of what she had been before. Muggle
Jack Barrow - 39 - Deadbeat boyfriend of Lori's. Not worth the ground he steps upon. He does drugs and drinks and beats on Lori and Bryar. Only likes her because he can control her. Muggle.
Taron Scott - 29 - Father of Bryar. Deceased. Died in combat saving his fellow soldiers. Was a kind and loving man who meant the world to his family. Muggle.
Scott & Reece - Families of Taron and Lori. The Reece side of the family which is Lori's parents and such have just about disowned her since she fell off the wagon. Since they are a family with pride they throw away anyone who doesn't meet their expectations; even family.
The Scott family just stopped keeping in contact with Lori. The loss of their son was too much for them and a couple months after they found out he died the got in a car crash and died themselves. |
