Finley couldn't help but frown when he found out that the hat stall had been between two completely different houses to the one she'd ended up in made Finley frown slightly with confusion. How on earth had that happened? But, the explanation came soon enough, and Finley's expression changed to one of understanding. "Well... I c-can't say I've heard that b-before." Finley admitted, but he was glad she'd gone for what she wanted in the end.
As the younger witch got on with the idea of treats, Finley kept an eye out for the Puffskein that was on the run - no sign of the creature emerged, though, so Finley moved off a little way with Annie and waited for the bait to be taken. Hopefully, this was going to work, because if it didn't, Finley didn't have a clue what they were going to do next to try to get the small creature back.
However, his movement was aided by the fact he was being pulled along - looking down he saw his hand in the hand of the girl's and he felt his cheeks flush in an instant. Physical contact was definitely not something Finley was likely to get accustomed to, of that much he was quite sure.
When they were both safely out of the way, Finley took back his hand and stood waiting for the Puffskein to appear. "Come on..." Finley mumbled under his breath, willing the creature to reappear with all of his heart.
