Full Name: Gavin Linus Pierce
Position: Care of Magical Creatures Professor
Qualifications & Previous Education: While attending school at Salem CoMC was the course Gavin received the highest marks in. His own condition drives his passion of the field and he's always in the know of the newest knowledge being learned. On top of that for the last two years he's been a freelance magizoologist working to gather new information for the Irish ministry.
Activity: Yes, and even if I do slack I've got some motivation in the form of a little sister that's great at getting me to do things. :D
Roleplay Example: Pacing along the edge of the Black Lake, Gavin attempted to swallow back the fear and nervousness he was dealing with. He knew that this was a pretty risky first lesson, but he had been assured that all the students were very capable. Besides the kids he'd be teaching today were at most three years younger than him, and he'd done much more dangerous things. He attempted to rationalize this for himself, keeping in mind that these students were the creme de la creme. All the ones that had chosen to pursue this course after their OWL exams. 'Besides they aren't going into the lake alone I'll be right there with them.'
As the first of the students arrived Gavin tried to stand tall, to exert an air of confidence. He wasn't sure how they would react to someone so young being put in charge of their education, but he knew he was qualified. When he felt that an appropriate number of students had gathered, he cleared his throat. "Afternoon ladies and gentleman. My name is Gavin Pierce and I'm a magi zoologist freelancing for the Irish ministry, I'm also your new professor. Professor Duffield had to take a leave and I'll be filling in."
Not giving the students and time to dig into his history or back ground he continued onwards with what he had planned. "We've all heard rumors and speculations about what kind of creatures dwell in the Black Lake. Let's talk about that. What creatures have you heard to dwell in here and what do you guys know about them?"
