Christmas had come around again much too quickly, and Daniel's head was more in the holidays than it was in teaching. Christmas with his small family was going to be beautiful, he was sure of that much. But, as Daniel walked down to the meeting point for today's Care of Magical class, he pulled himself together, after all, what good could possibly come from him not wanting to be here? No, his students needed him to be focused.

So, waiting on the edge of the Forbidden Forest, Daniel looked back up to the castle. Today would be a short walk in to the forest for the lesson he had planned, so Daniel had sent a note to the common rooms, telling them to meet him here.

There was no inclination of what today's class would be, but Daniel simply knew that the class was going to enjoy it. There was absolutely no way they couldn't enjoy this class!

Cole had enjoyed the last lesson which involved thestrals which only those who saw death could see. Which was unforunate for him, since he could no see it since he never saw death. He did not want to see it either, since he knew some people got ptsd from that which is something no one wanted to have.

Upon being sent notes in the common room telling them to meet the headmaster. Which made him happy since he wanted to go to his lessons, and this time not be late. Since he saw that got him no where as he began walking out to the forest in his uniform which he had made sure was neatly nice about.

Cole had soon got out to the outdoors and he knew his hair would not get messed up since he used extra hairspray to the point, where it smelt like it. The boy saw the forest getting closer and soon saw Professor Jameson which made him smile since he seemed pretty cool.

He began to it until he arrived, and he said. " Professor Jameson, I am here on time well it seems early, but still I made it on time. " said Cole with a smile.

Tristan had soon decided that he needed to stop sulking, and learn to perhaps be on his classes on time. Which was the case as he got up, and he had set himself alarm, so he would wake up two hours earlier which gave him time earlier to get everything he needed. Which led him to set out for the forest after the note was sent.

He had also been happy to know that Christmas was just around the corner, and that meant he would be able to rest. To get into his werewolf power much more quicker. Since he felt it was hard, because he had to hide it here. Then he saw he had gotten outside, and soon began walking out to Care for Magical Creatures.

The boy soon saw two people there which was an older student, and the headmaster who was also the professor. Which had made him wonder why the headmaster had to teach when he had probably had much more important things to do then waste his time with students.

Soon he had took his spot and waited to learn.

Ryder had not really cared whether or not he was late, since truly he did not care period. Which meant knowing there was more than enough time he had taken his time to get to his classes. Since why rush, when it was so much funner being late. Even though truly he did not want to be late, because it was just an embarrassment.

As he soon walked out, looking forward to being able to go on Holiday break soon. Which meant he could bother his sister, and be a terror by causing pranks to be done. Since that was a good way to spend his holidays by causing so much trouble. Which was what Ryder did best and the twelve year old knew that.

Then he soon got the note which was when his Care for Magical Creatures class had been. Although he could not care to know as he continued walking and soon could smell hairspray from feets from it, and then he got to class where it came strong.

He soon looked and saw a kid who was playing with his hair which led to him walking over, and saying. " You know your smell of hairspray can be smelt for miles. " said Ryder with his arms crossed. Since himself did not use hairpray for his hair since his hair was messy and he did not care.

Then he decided to look and wait for instructions to be instructed.

Severine had yawned and pushed herself out of bed, surprisingly eager to get her classes completed and over with for the day. She was flawless, as per usual, however she made an effort to make herself look more flawless before exiting her dormitory and heading down to breakfast. Breakfast was quiet, which was fine with Sev as she ate quickly and elegantly before the clock now showed fifteen minutes to class.

Being close to Christmas meant that the weather was growing cold and snow was beginning to accumulate. For Severine, it meant more time indoors, beside a fireplace with a hot drink in hand. However, as the girl's eyes opened more and she developed into her own person as opposed to someone her parents had formed her to be, she realised that the snow was actually sort of beautiful. She found herself letting out a small smile as she wondered how this year's Christmas would go. Most of all the Charlots has now been transferred to Hogwarts with Alexande being graduated and Elodie being too young. Christmas would no doubt be interesting.

As Severine now reached the rest of the class, her thoughts drifted to the idea of her parents and how Isa seemed to brush off their teachings. Severine had never thought about it, but what if their teachings were rubbish? She could surely still interact with those of lesser blood and not be brought down to their level couldn't she? The gears in Severine's mind began to turn as she wondered who she could be if she broke from the complete Charlot teachings and branched out on her own.

Care of Magical Creatures - Lesson Two (All Years) Empty

The last lesson of Care of Magical Creatures had not been too good, Finley could not see Thestrals (which he was thankful for) so the lesson had been left on something of an anti-climax, most could say. However, Finley knew that Professor Jameson was only trying to bring the textbook knowledge of the creature to life, and therefore the Ravenclaw had not thought twice about coming back to the class that week.

The note that had been left in the common room had made him much more curious, too, obviously Professor Jameson had something slightly different in mind. So, wrapped up in a coat, with his Ravenclaw scarf and gloves on, Finley set off down to the class. For the first time in almost a year, Finley walked alone, since he and Madison had broken up, the Ravenclaw was... well, left in limbo, to be quite honest, and he didn't have a friend he could ask to walk with from the Tower.

Or, no one he felt comfortable in approaching, anyway.

It didn't take long, though, with your eyes on the ground and the lengthy strides of the boy, Finley was down at the edge of the forest in fifteen minutes, his cheeks a little reddened from the cold. "M-morning, professor." Finley greeted, keeping to himself in the small group that had already formed.

Care of Magical Creatures - Lesson Two (All Years) Empty

Elyah had promised herself that from this year and on, she was going to try her very best for two reasons. One being, she wanted to do this for herself. She wanted to prove her worth, because, in all honesty, she was growing up to be a very strong and independent woman, and in order to achieve that, she had to have knowledge. And she was going to take as much as could out of every subject offered in this school. And secondly, she simply wanted her father to be proud for her. She didn't want him to regret coming back into her life. She wanted to show him that she was as good as he were.

So after checking eh schedule, and seeing that Care of Magical Creatures was there, a small smile crept up her lips. Obviously, she had seen the note that had been sent to every Common Room for the children to know that this lesson was not going to take place at its usual place, but at the Forbidden Forest.

Rushing out of the Hufflepuff Common Room, Elyah made her way outside, waving to a few other students that she had recently met, but sadly, they were heading to another lesson, since they were older, and had picked something else instead of CoMC.

It didn't take long for Elyah to find the Firbidden Forest, and once she approached closer, she noticed that a small group was already forming outside the entrance. With small and quick strides, she was soon standing outside, next to a few other students. Maybe she was the youngest, maybe not. She didn't quiet know, but there were surely students older than her.
Max wasn't there though, which made Elyah turn around, just in case she hadn't seen him coming, but no. Shrugging, she waited quietly for the lesson to begin, knowing that Max would come to her, sooner or later.

"Stupid lesson that teaches practically nothing.." Verena muttered under her breath as she was getting ready to attend the next class, which just happened to be Care of Magical Creatures. Her favorite... not. Verena, as the true Pureblood lade she were, could just not understand what this lesson had to offer. It was a total waste of time and Verena did not like to attend this class, and for some time, she had managed to drop it off. But a letter from the house arrived not too long after, saying, or more like, ordering her to attend each and every lesson that was being offered. She had to be present to everything. She had to give the Richardsons pride.

So even if she hated to do this, Verena made her way out of the Slytherin Common Room, fixing her hair who would not stay in place by doing a quick french braid, of that much she was capable of, before exiting the building and moving towards the Forbidden Forest. Thankfully, she was informed just in time about the change of place, and the Slytherin witch did not have to wander around, hoping to stumble upon the class.

Sure enough, a bunch of people were already gathered around the gates, when she arrived, causing her to stay back, distancing herself quite a bit from them. She didn't want to be part of these. She just wanted to get over with this and go home for the holidays.

Max's strongest subject was perhaps Care of Magical Creatures, because you didn't have to read too much, there were no marks given for doing something perfectly, but it included animals. Animals were something that Max could get his head around, he knew how to treat them with care, and... oddly, they seemed to be one of the few things that his temperament calmed for. Perhaps he knew, in a sense, that being loud, energetic and full on with animals would only frighten them, and thus he worked hard to control his excitement around them.

Or, perhaps, the animals simply had a calming effect that nothing else could.

Whatever the case, Max hurried down from the Gryffindor Tower that morning towards the class, keeping his eyes open for Elyah. That had caused him to bump in to a number of people on hs travels that shouted at him as he hurried off, but Max had apologised, so he didn't really understand what the problem was.

Once he'd arrived at the small group, Max noted Elyah and moved to her side, a warm smile on his features, despite the cold weather, and Max's apparent lack of thought to bring a jacket, or jumper to keep himself warm. "Hey!" He greeted his friend, hugging his arms around himself. It was a bit nippy, but Max would survive, he was sure.

Sophie had been so happy as Christmas was growing nearer and nearer, but she still had her classes. As the fifth year made her way out to Care for Magical Creatures. Hoping that her classes would be nice and easy, even though she had not cared for a challenge. She had actually enjoyed them. Which led to her continuing to walk to her classes, and soon wondering what she would be doing.

Then as the fifth year had been walking she felt the coldness, and she sighed since cold was not her favorite. In which she had not wanted to be late either and she hurried to the class. Even though she knew she had to study and that it was important, and she was hoping to get Outstandings on all of her OWLS, so she could have huge varieties to choose from.

Sophie had been freezing as she wondered if it would be any colder, and soon going to where the class was being held. Since she had been wondering what they would be learning as she soon spotted her brother who was there, and she sighed.

Since she was cold.
