To each student that greeted Daniel, Daniel responded with a soft 'good morning' to each of them, but didn't elaborate in to further conversation. He wasn't about to congratulate people on being early to lessons, after all, it was expected of them. Even if that was highly hypocritical of Daniel with the fact timing was not something he was good at.
Checking his watch, Daniel noted that it was time for the lesson to begin. Clearing his throat, Daniel raised his voice so that the whole group could hear. "Good morning everyone, I hope you're all ready for today's lesson, because it is most definitely going to be a once in a life time opportunity for most of you.
"Now, because of the cold weather, we're going to have to delve in to the Forbidden Forest to be able to see today's creature. Everyone please pair up, you will be responsible for one another." Daniel instructed, waiting until the students had done exactly as he'd said. "Good, now, if you follow me, I'll show you to the place of our lesson. Do not wander off in to the forest, for I do not wish to be writing letters of condolence to your families."
With that, Daniel turned on his heel and moved in to the forest, knowing the warning would be enough to keep the children in check. The walk was five minutes, and as they entered in to a lighter surrounding of trees - almost a clearing, but there was no snow on the ground here. In the middle of the clearing was a very large cage, and inside, a faux cave.
"Everyone spread around the cage, but don't get close to it, if you know what's good for you." Daniel instructed, taking out his wand and tapping the cage noisily. A stirring came from the cave, something akin to a roar... but different.
"Ladies and gentlemen... I present... dragons." Daniel explained as a young Hungarian Horntail lurched in to view from the make shift cage. It gave off another growl, and a small rush of fire erupted from its mouth - but upon hitting the cage, it disappeared due to the magic on the cage.
Turning back to the students, Daniel looked around the faces of the children to see their thoughts on the creature. "Go on, ask anything!" Daniel encouraged, unable to keep his excitement in in that moment.
