Anniversary {Sebastian/Aiden} {Closed}

Aiden hummed softly as he danced through their kitchen, his hands meticulously working through the steps of making Margherita risotto balls; he wanted to spoilt Sebastian, his lover, thus he had called Sebastian's mother and asked her for the recipe for a meal. He was no chef but he could cook at least as long as he had step-by-step instructions.

Ever since they had gotten together, each year Sebastian seemed to do something for them for their anniversary thus this year Aiden had decided to reward his boyfriend by making some Italian meals for his significant other to enjoy.

The twenty-one-year-old male hoped that Sebastian would enjoy the meal and he also hoped the man would enjoy his present as well which he had prepared a couple of days ago. Aiden knew that things between were close to perfect but Aiden wanted to make their relationship a little bit more permanent.

Work had been going well for Sebastian. He was slowly being allowed to take more and more training session with his team. And was more recently being allowed an input on the team for the games that were being played. All of this had put Sebastian in very good spirits at work, which meant he came home to Aiden in the same manner.

Aiden was still working on what he wanted to do with his career, and Sebastian was more than supportive with any and every idea that he came up with. Even if it took him another year to come to a decision, Sebastian would be supportive. Of course, Sebastian hoped it would happen sooner rather than later, because not getting out of the house and seeing others would eventually drive Aiden mad, he was sure.

Their relationship was building well, too, home life had settled down nicely now that they were all moved in. The house had become their home, and Sebastian would not change anything they'd done thus far.

Today was their anniversary, too, and Sebastian was almost bouncing as he came home. With a card written out in his best handwriting, and a box with a deep blue ribbon around it. Sebastian merely had to hope Aiden liked what he'd picked out. Slipping through the front door, Sebastian kicked off his shoes. "I'm home!" Sebastian called out happily before catching the smell of something he hadn't smelt in a very long time. "Margherita Risotto Balls... Is Mama here?" Sebastian asked, making a beeline for the kitchen. Finding Aiden and not his mother there, Sebastian couldn't help but smile.

"You sneaky bugger! I can see why you were a Slytherin now!" Sebastian insisted, moving across the kitchen and pressing a light kiss on his boyfriend's lips. "Happy anniversary, handsome." Sebastian added softly, looking at the food that was being prepared with awe. It smelt amazing, it smelt like home, and for that, Sebastian was grateful.

Aiden had been pretty much looking forward to the day with Sebastian but he had also been applying for apprenticeships and jobs all over the place; the one place he had applied was Gringotts to do an apprenticeship for Curse Breaking. And surprise, surprise he had gotten accepted.

That was one of his surprises for Sebastian. Another was sitting innocently in his pocket and he was planning on handing it to Sebastian as soon as the man got home and they had their dinner. Taking a deep breath as he went through the motions of making the Italian food, Aiden made a note to himself to send a thank you to Sebastian's mum for teaching him this meal. In truth he had actually flooed to Italy and gotten all the ingredients there; so they weren't the English rip off and would genuinely taste like home to Sebastian.

Hearing that loving voice of his boyfriend, Aiden couldn't help but smile. "Welcome back." He called back with a joyful voice as he put the finishing touches on to the meal before he turned around to face Sebastian, a grin on his face when he saw the smile on his boyfriend's face.

"Your Mama gave me the recipe," Aiden revealed as he accepted the kiss happily and hummed against the older male's lips. "Happy anniversary darlin'." He replied and accepted the present from his lover before he teasingly scrunched his nose up and pushed at Sebastian. "You stink." He teased. "Go and take a shower. The meal will be ready in a few."

Though he did lean forward to steal another kiss from Sebastian.

The magical watch that Sebastian had gotten for Aiden didn't seem quite so good when his boyfriend had brought home to England. Yes, it was a specialised Curse Breaking watch - Sebastian had taken note of Aiden's applications, and caught sight of the gift whilst perusing Diagon Alley. It was, of course, a designer watch, with tricks and tips of the trade. But it was not as magical as home.

"I stink?" Sebastian asked, letting out a small laugh. "But, for you, I will shower." He replied, relishing in another kiss from his boyfriend before he pulled away. "Don't open your present until I'm back, I want to see your face. I need to know you like it!" Sebastian insisted, hurrying from the room to do as Aiden had asked, and shower before they had dinner.

It didn't take long for Sebastian to shower, getting changed in to something comfortable. Ruffling his hair with a towel to dry it off, and spraying himself with some cologne, Sebastian moved back in to the kitchen and his boyfriend. "There we go, fresh as a daisy - or whatever you English say." Sebastian joked. "Is there anything I can do to help?" He offered, looking around to see what needed doing.

While at first, Aiden had been unsure what to get Sebastian, he had just decided to go with his gut and he had gotten Sebastian something that would either make Sebastian happy or confuse him to bits. The brunette male had actually went ahead and bought a ring for Sebastian. Well, two rings really; one for his lover and one for himself.

On the inside of their rings, Aiden had a professional inscribe their initials and while it had certainly cost more then he knew Sebastian would be comfortable with, Aiden couldn't actually care at this moment in time about the money.

Laughing at his lover, Aiden shooed the man from the kitchen while nodding his head to not opening the present before the man would come back. Getting the plates out of the cupboards, he placed them on the table followed by the utensils and then the food that smelt heavenly in the kitchen.

"You can just park your ass down on the chair." Aiden teased with a grin on his lips. "You worked today. I was free. Let me pamper you a little bit." He hummed as he waved his wand to dim the lights a little bit before he dug into the pocket of his trousers and pulled out a small box that he handed over to Sebastian, placing it next to the plate. "Your present from me."

Sebastian let out a small laugh as Aiden said to park his ass. That was one way of telling him not to help, Sebastian guessed. Of course, he didn't mind, and did as he was told. Allow himself to be pampered... he was sure he could do that. "I'll do the washing up, then." Sebastian compromised, because this day was for both of them and Sebastian wanted to help.

As the lights lowered, Sebastian couldn't help but be a little amused. "Now all we're missing is Bella Notre from The Lady and the Tramp!" He joked, reaching for his cutlery so that he could begin (Sebastian did love his food) before stopping because Aiden had put a box on the table before him.

A box that was much too small to be anything else.

Sebastian's eyes went wide, looking from the box to his boyfriend. If this was what he thought it was... well, it was nothing short of a huge surprise. They were going strong together, yes, but... well Sebastian had thought about marrying Aiden, but he had put that as a near future kind of idea, not now. But, even though he was shocked, there was only ever going to be one answer.

"Is that..?" Sebastian asked, his voice catching a little with emotion as he opened the box to see what was inside. The ring was beautiful, too, and Sebastian couldn't help but let out a small gasp. "Aiden..." He breathed, his tone hinting a little at frustration for the obviously expensive ring. But it was overmasked by the undeniably overwhelming shock that was coursing through his body in that moment. Tears were prickling his eyes, despite the huge smile on his lips.

He didn't know what to say.

"I'm fine with that." Aiden agreed to the compromise without any sort of complaint as he knew that Sebastian, otherwise, would sulk through the night if he didn't do anything. The day was for them after all and if only one of them was doing stuff that wouldn't be fair to the other.

"I can find the music I'm sure." Aiden laughed softly before he stopped and watched Sebastian when the other male noticed the box. He held his breath, unsure whether his lover would be alight with the present or not. After all neither of them had actually talked about marriage before.

Despite having not talked about marriage, Aiden did want to marry Sebastian; maybe not now, not while their careers were only starting but maybe somewhere down the line. He licked his lips as he got up from his own chair and walked around to Sebastian's side.

"I know we're still young but..." He took the ring from the box and grabbed his lover's left hand. "Marrying you is my dream, Sebastian... Every day that I wake up next to you I wish that this would all last forever. I want to wake up next to you forever. I want all the good and bad. I want for you to stay with me."

The apprentice Curse Breaker licked his lips and took a deep breath. "Would you do me the honour of marrying me Sebastian Aquila?" He questioned softly and with hesitancy as he eyed his lover, feeling panic overwhelm him at the tears in Sebastian's eyes and his silence.

Sebastian's emotions were on the high in that moment and as Aiden took his hand, Sebastian knew what was coming. It was impossible not to know! The words brought heat to Sebastian's cheeks. Aiden was so sweet, and the planning of the evening was just so well done, Sebastian didn't know how he could possibly have topped the engagement he had been given.

"Would you do me the honour of marrying me Sebastian Aquila?"

Sebastian's head was bobbing up and down the moment Aiden had said the word 'marrying'. There was simply no other answer that was going to come out of the Italian. "I will." Sebastian grinned, waiting for Aiden to slide the ring on to his finger before pulling him in for a deep kiss. There was no way he'd be able to show, or explain the elation in his body in that moment, but he could thank Aiden with actions, for all of this. "There's nothing I would love more than to marry you!"

The moment Sebastian said yes to his proposal Aiden breathed a sigh of relief before a wide smile overtook his features as he slid the ring onto Sebastian's finger before he let out a soft oomph when Sebastian pulled him forward for a kiss.

Smiling, the younger of the two males placed his hands on his lover's hips and squeezed them as he returned the kiss with equal vigor, his tongue sneaking out to stroke against his lover's lips before diving in when he had been given permission by his fiancee.

"I can't imagine doing anything else but marrying you Seb." The brunette murmured against Sebastian's lips, a soft and loving look in his eyes. His dream of getting a job with Gringotts came true and now his dream of marrying Sebastian was coming true as well. He just couldn't wait till the actual wedding, till he could put a gold wedding band on Sebastian's finger to join that engagement ring.

Sebastian couldn't help but hold on to the kiss with fervor as Aiden tried to pull away, enjoying the warmth of his tongue within his own mouth in that moment. Aiden's want was just as piqued, but talking invaded the moment, and Sebastian just about managed to contain the soft moan of disdain that threatened to leave his lips not a moment later.

"Did you tell, Mama?" Sebastian asked, because Merlin knew Aiden had been sneaking around, and his Mama would be over the moon when she found out about this. "Mi rendi così felice..." Sebastian added, falling back in to Italian because he was just too elated not to. He didn't even particularly notice that he'd done so, either.

"Hey! Come, sit, sit. Your dinner is getting cold! I can't let this go to waste, can I?" Sebastian insisted a moment later, realising he'd neglected his food! Leaning down to press a kiss on Aiden's lips, Sebastian couldn't stop smiling. "I'll thank you properly... later!" Sebastian added, making sure Aiden knew that he was not at all close enough to having said thank you.
