| Arielle seemed to have a busy day today. She had quite many works there and well she didn't really mind being busy. She actually likes it. She had then something to do actually. She was done with one patient then there was already new one who she needed help.
She was about to go take a break for few minutes but she couldn't since there was the new person who needed help. So she decided to go and check on that person first. Seemed like everyone else very busy too. She walked over the room where she was now placed in the bed.
"Hello," she said there and looked at the people in that room. There was even some demiguise even. She really wasn't sure why it was here but she didn't ask. It wasn't really her business. "So what did happen to this young woman?" she wanted to be sure before she begins to treat her injuries. It's better to know what happened so you know what you will be expecting. She wasn't even sure how that demiguise will respond to her there.
Arielle knew that young woman needed help for sure. But yes she really wasn't sure how she can be helpful right now. She walked over the woman and touched if she had pulse what she seemed to have. So she was alive for sure. Then she noticed her some injuries too. Probably since she needs to examine entire her body at some point there. |

| Finding Lucy in that state had not been nice for Jake. His Auror instincts had kicked in to stop him from feeling the emotions - but they would come, oh yes. When this was all over, and he had time to reflect, all the emotions that could be associated with seeing one of your students like this would bubble to the surface. Spill over, and consume him.
But as he laid Lucy on the bed, he knew that now was not this time.
As the Healer came in to the room, Jake paid no attention to Frank. Yes, the Demiguise might be worried, but Jake only cared about Lucy in that moment. The question... Jake had to bite back the obvious retort that would be icy cold. "She was abducted about five days ago. I found her tied up in a room, and I presume she'd been tortured physically, and perhaps with magic too." Jake told the witch, his tone taking on the informative stance of his job.
"I haven't done an examination myself, I just got her here as quickly as I could." Jake added, hoping this would prompt the Healer in to action. Turning back to Frank, Jake picked the beast up as he was requesting, though his eyes remained on the figure of Lucy. Hoping to Merlin that she was going to pull through this. That he hadn't been too late. ________________________________________________~ Auror ~ Profile ~ DADA Professor ~ ~ In a Relationship ~ 36 ~ Father ~ 6' ~ American Accent ~

| Frank didn't like being ignored but knew it was needed and listened. He watched as a girl came in, before finally Jake-the-hero picked him up. He showed Jake that he couldn't see Lucy's future before moving so he was gently clinging to his shoulder and neck sitting so he wouldn't be in the way before swinging up onto the roof. His watch over Lucy was going to be long but his Lucy needed it. It was up to Jake-the-hero to let her mother know and her boss that Lucy was found.
Lucy in the meantime, in her subconsciousness could hear voices. She heard Jake, and a lady but she didn't know where they were or where she was. But it felt so comfortable. Her body had cuts and burns and bruises and breaks but here was so nice. A warmth began spreading over her. She didn't want to wake up.
In the real world her body was just barely managing to stay alive and her pulse was getting slower. It would be a fight to keep her alive let alone get her better.
((OOc list of injuries sustained)) Breaks -broken wrist, dislocated jaw,, hairline fracture in cheekbone, possible broken ribs Wounds - Carving in her shoulder of squib by cursed blade and a small nick on her neck from the same -multiple cuts over body non life threatening
Burns -Burns on side of neck, superficial, 2nd degree in worst spots
Others -Multiple uses of cruciatis curse -Heavy facial bruising and burst vein in right eye -tooth missing -General redness and bruising over body -possible internal bleeding in around abdomen area from repeated punches

| Arielle looked at Jake when she heard him to speak what had happened with this young woman. To be honest she was now even more concerned when she heard that she was probably tortured even. She knew this won't be good. Well, chances from getting alive out from few days of torturing weren't never that good.
She slowly began to examine her injuries even more. She did see there bruises and even some burns. There seemed to be even some guts but they didn't seem to be life threating ones. "This doesn't seem to be good," she said there and was sure it won't be that easy to save her.
She sighed. Awhile examining she noticed that young woman's heart beat went slower. She was worried now. She couldn't let her die like this. Ari took a deep breath and wasn't exactly sure what she should even do there. All she knew that this woman was in bad shape for sure. She had very little of chances to stay up.
She even thought that there might be internal bleeding but she couldn't be sure about it. She knew she needs to make her heart beat come back. |

| Clarinda hurried down the corridors as quickly as she dared. She never ran unless it was absolutely necessary -- patients and (the newer) healers had a tendency to get worked up or anxious if they saw the head healer running -- and as such, she was taking brisk long steps, passing open doors and ignoring anybody who tried to start small talk with a shake of her head and a wave of her hand, telling them without words: Not now. Emergency. I'm busy.
Spell damage was her speciality, and as soon as the word had come in that a halfblood had been found and rescued after multiple days missing -- and, more than that, found by an auror in the den of some Deadly Nightshades -- she had abandoned the files on her table without so much as closing them. The healer beside her filled her in as she walked. Cruciatus. Broken bones. Burns. Cuts. What worried her most was that carving into her skin; if done by magical means, it could be permanent. She barely hid a shudder as she was told that it spelt out the word: Squib.
Entering the room, she glanced around, just in time to hear the healer there mutter a comment. Walking over without a word, she glanced down at the patient, quickly taking note of all the wounds. There would be more internal ones, but for now she would deal with what she saw. “She’ll be just fine. I've seen worse,” she said, shooting a glance at the current healer. It was unprofessional to say anything negative in front of the patient; it didn't help them mentally.
Wand already out and in her hand, she touched the tip to the wrist, obviously broken, and muttered, “Ossio dispersimus.” Moving the wand to the witch’s jaw, she said, “Episkey.”
Next, she turned her attention to the shoulder, very quickly debating between a few spells. Then, making up her mind in the time it took her to point the wand at it, she murmured, “Vulnera sanentur,” and watched as the wound closed. Mentally cussing as she saw the alphabets remained -- meaning that it had been magically done -- she repeated the spell on the different cuts on her body, immediately followed by “Tergeo,” to clean it up a little.
Then, summoning a potion from a nearby cupboard, she popped open the cap and measured out a sip worth. Pulling the witch’s mouth open, she poured it in, the liquid meant to stabilise heart rate and blood pressure.
Satisfied that anything pressing was taken care of, she stepped away from the patient, casting a quick Muffliato so that she’d have privacy. Then, losing her professional mask of emotionlessness, turned sharply towards the healer.
“Who is your head of department?” she asked, tone quiet but hard, showing that she was not pleased. “It was obvious that there were multiple lacerations that required immediate medical attention; we are expected to heal, not ask questions unless absolutely vital. On top of that, we never discuss the state of the patient in front of them, especially if they're not doing well. We assure, we comfort, and we heal. That is the simplest I can describe our job.” She paused to ensure that the healer understood her words. Then, with a note of finality, she said, “I expect you to report to your head of department to explain your actions -- or rather, lack of.”
With that done, she turned towards the auror there, raising a single eyebrow at the demiguise. “I assume you must be the auror who found her?” She didn't wait for an answer. “I am told they teach you basic healing spells during your training, all of which take a mere few seconds to perform. I have to ask why you did not perform any of these. Perhaps you might not have medical training, but it is obvious that she was in no condition to be moved; you could have killed her.” She wasn't one to mince her words, not when it came to the safety and wellbeing of a patient; feelings should no be spared if it meant saving a life. In this case, she wanted to make it absolutely clear to the auror that a repeat of this might not turn out so well.
Again waiting a heartbeat to ensure he understood her words, Clarinda gestured to the patient behind her. “Intentions may be pure, but intentions alone can kill if not backed up by practicality and common sense. Next time -- and I hope to Merlin there isn't -- prioritise health over anything. It may have been a hellhole, but if she's dead does it matter if she died there or in a hospital?”
The entire time she spoke calmly, without raising her voice. She wasn't exactly angry, just irked at the lack of common sense -- what was the world coming to? -- and needing to ensure something like this didn't happen again. Eyes flickering towards the demiguise, she looked back at the auror and, without any sort of hesitation, ordered, “Now please take that creature and get out of my room. There’s a strict no pets policy, and I need space to save this girl’s life.”
Her peace having been said, she started to move back to her patient (there were still things to be done, especially the internal side of it all) before something hit her and she turned back towards the auror. “Thank you for finding her. You may request for me for an update -- my name is Clarinda Jennson.” With that, she returned to her patients side, wand in hand.

| The first Healer, in Jake's very limited knowledge, seemed rather incompetent in her work as she didn't really do anything for a few moments. Jake was about to call the witch out for this, and ask her if there was a problem when the doors opened, and another Healer entered. Jake moved out of the way of the bed so that they could both work. He knew well enough from the time he'd spent in the hospital with Veronika and Ivan that Healers liked their space, and Lucy was going to need all the help she could get.
A few moments flashed by as the second Healer worked on what Jake assumed to be the easier things to correct. His eyes taking note of the work - he only just noticed the markings on Lucy's back when the examination continued, and his fists balled by his sides as he noted the word Squib. He was going to find the Nightshades who did this, and Merlin help them when he did.
But, Jake's revenge plan was interrupted as the second Healer gave the first something of a verbal lashing. The Auror stood back, eyes averted, but thanking Merlin that he was not the one under fire.
That, however, was Jake's undoing, as the Healer moved on to him. "Auror Newbury, ma'am." Jake replied to the question of having found Lucy. The next bit made him cringe slightly. He knew, now, that he hadn't done his job well. He'd been too worried about getting Lucy out of the building, away from the Nightshades and safe, that the consideration of first aid had not been one that he'd even contemplated in that moment. Why... he couldn't say, it was protocol. It was common sense. There was no excuse.
It was a lecture that Jake received, but he was not about to retort, or respond nastily to it. The Healer had not raised her voice, and they both knew she was right.
"I do apologise. No excuse for what I did. I was just more focused on getting her away from her captors. It won't happen again." Jake told the witch, admitting he'd been wrong before he turned to Frank. Taking him by the arm, Jake placed him outside the door. "Wait outside the Hospital. I'll bring news." He told the creature, shutting the door after him and turning back to the Healer who was working on Lucy.
"If I may... Healer Jennson. I think it best that I stay until I'm relieved by another Auror. This case is sensitive." Jake explained, motioning to Lucy but staying by the door. "I will stay out of your way, and only speak when you speak to me." He added, and then, he shut up, standing at ease just inside the door, and watching the Healer work.
All any of them could do now, was hope that they had been quick enough. That Jake's inaction would not cost the witch her life. And that Healer Jennson could help Lucy pull through. ________________________________________________~ Auror ~ Profile ~ DADA Professor ~ ~ In a Relationship ~ 36 ~ Father ~ 6' ~ American Accent ~

| Clarinda merely nodded at the apology. It wasn't her place to forgive the man; she held no grudge against him. He may have made her job slightly more difficult, but he'd been doing what he deemed was best, and that was all you could ask of someone when it came down to time sensitive issues.
No, he had not wronged her. There were a few, of course, who would have the choice of offering the auror forgiveness -- himself included -- but she wasn't one of them.
At his next words, she paused for a fraction of a moment to consider what he said. If it were safety Auror Newbury was concerned about, Clarinda could have assured him not to worry, told him that, as a healer, she would step in front of anybody who tried to harm her patient -- and, as the Minister of Magic's wife, she could have an entire squad of aurors at her exact location in a few seconds with but a word spoken, meaning that whichever patient she was protecting would also have an entire squad of aurors to ensure their safety.
But Clarinda was never one to throw a title around unless absolutely necessary. As it was, she'd already used her position as head healer, and while not something she enjoyed doing, it had been needed.
Besides, a part of her wondered if the auror was staying because he felt responsible for the female on the bed. Whether or not this was true, Clarinda didn't speculate -- but, as someone in the profession of saving people, she understood the basic instinct to care for those under you and didn't question him on this. It was always good to know that she didn't need to worry about some stupid terrorists (or whatever they were officially called; in her eyes, they were just that) showing up to finish their job.
So, simply nodding again, Clarinda pointed to a chair in the corner without turning. "You may have a seat, if you wish. This will take a while. If you need anything, let me know. She may be a priority, but if you feel you need a checkup as well, I can have another -- experienced -- healer give you a look over," she told him as she stood by the witch on the bed, giving her another, more thorough, examination to see if there was anything external she'd missed.
To herself, so softly under her breath it wouldn't have been audible in the slightest, she murmured, "Hmm, burns. A salve would work. And check for possible internal bleeding. Would there be head trauma? Dehydration, too..." Trailing off, she raised her tone to address the male. "Auror Newbury, what condition did you find her in?"
Even as she waited for an answer, she was muttering spells, cleaning and healing the minor wounds, now that things weren't so pressing. |

| Frank gave a soft hiss as he was taken out, how dare the woman call him a mere pet! He looked up at Jake. His eyes begging him not to close the door but closed it was. Frank sighed and sat outside the door, making sure he wasn't seen as he waited.
Lucy however didn't know what was going on but as time went on she found herself not feeling warm anymore but she felt..Comfortable. Her body, with a lot of help was pulling through thanks to the healers work.
It was only once that she regained consciousness, a few seconds before she was given a potion and went back to sleep. She knew she was alive, because she doubted Jake, who she could hear clearer now was dead. Nor did she believe her afterlife was going to be her in a hospital.
Area's hurt even in her sleep, but soon they stopped too and she slept. Her body exhausted. Luckily apart from bruising from beatings there was no brain damage. Not physical. Perhaps mental damage but no one could know for certain. |

| Jake simply watched the Healer working, the longer this took, the more the worry touched his features. He couldn't rush the Healer, of course, and simply remained quietly at the side, as he'd said he would, keeping an eye on the situation. The comment of sitting, or getting himself checked out made Jake shake his head.
"I'm fine, thank you ma'am, no harm done to me." He told her softly. It would be obvious in his tone of voice that he wished this wasn't the case. If Jake could have taken any of Lucy's pain he would have. But this was not how it worked. The witch who had no experienced in this type of magic - Jake's Auror training instructor had put them through a lot to make sure they were ready - but he could have worked through this better. His magical core stronger than Lucy's would have aided that.
But it was the witch who'd always struggled with Self-Defence that had fallen victim.
Jake's attention was retaken when the Healer murmured over the witch, checking things over. Jake watched the Healer at work. He could see her mumbling to herself about what was wrong with Lucy, but he couldn't hear her words. Jake was tempted to ask her for the list of problems she was finding with Lucy as she went (even if Healer Jennson would supply them with it anyway) to occupy himself, but decided against it. Instead remembering that he'd promised to stay quiet and out of the way unless asked to speak.
The question that was directed towards him brought Jake to attention, his mind skipping back to the scene. "She was unconscious when I found her, ma'am. Her body slumped in the chair rather than really holding itself up. Obviously, as we've discussed, all the cuts and lacerations you can see and have healed were clear. Her body was naked. The room more than a little mild..." The man paused, if she wanted a medical examination he couldn't have given it to her. "Lucy regained consciousness when I went to move her, though, ma'am. She said something, but it was weak. I couldn't make out the words. The. She lost consciousness just as I apparated here.
"Did you need anything more specific, ma'am?" Jake asked, because he was sure he could answer any of the more direct questions if needed. ________________________________________________~ Auror ~ Profile ~ DADA Professor ~ ~ In a Relationship ~ 36 ~ Father ~ 6' ~ American Accent ~
