At a glance:
Quinn is the current American dueling champion. Having recently moved to England in the hopes of gaining an international title he has only competed in a few British tournaments. Early on however he was badly injured and has caused him to take a break from his pursuits. Having not done much in the way of savings necessity dictates he get a job, and how better to learn and practice than educate young minds on the proper ways to commit violence.......errr dueling.
Quinn is a friendly young man, who lapses in sometimes appropriate conversation and phrasing. Passionate with what he can set his mind to, and completely unable to focus on what doesn't tickle his fancy he can seem a little withdrawn depending on the setting. Quick to crack a joke, or a bottle of fire whiskey though causes him to still try and enjoy life.
He is still at this point hoping to make a comeback in professional dueling when he can recover from his injury. Until then he is looking at teaching and any side jobs he can pick up to stay above water.
Being muggleborn a lot of his phrases come from the muggle world sometimes to the confusion or chagrin of his wizarding aquintences.
What's he after:
Having rejoined the wizarding world a little later than most he doesn't have big outlandish goals. Currently his focus is on dueing and maintains a comfortable life with that. He enjoys the thrill of duels, and the hard work of training, though he is just as satisfied at times on the lake fishing. However, that doesn't pay the bills.
