| Sean sat on top of the table in his classroom, dressed in some casual slacks and a blue button up shirt that was halfway undone, a black vest seen through the slight opening. Having spent most of his time down in the muggle parts of the world, Sean had decided to wear muggle clothes to his lessons though he did wear a robe over it if only to not get a scolding from any of the Professors. He was still young after all and no-one could blame him for wanting to wear something more fashionable.
The blackboard behind him was clearly empty and Sean wanted it to stay like that; this was the first lesson that his students would have after being back from Summer holidays and seeing as he would only have First through to Fourth Year's in this lesson, he decided to keep it fairly simple and fun more than anything else, he didn't want to bore the children after all and he knew from his own time at Hogwarts that he had easily gotten fed up with the theory work that he had been forced to go through in one lesson.
This time he would have a 'Practicals during the lesson, theory during down time' motto going on; in other words, he would expect his students to read ahead of the lesson to be wholly prepared for it. He was still unsure on what he would teach these kids but he was debating on the Avis spell; it wasn't too hard but it wasn't easy either.
Looking towards the clock, Sean noticed that he had another few minutes before students started milling in. |

| Cora raced through the corridors, a myriad of charms books clasped tightly to her chest as she bumped into various students, shouting a sorry back to them as she went blazing on by.
This had been what she had been waiting for all summer - ever since her father had cancelled her personal charms tutor now that she was attending Hogwarts full time. She hated going weeks without learning something new and the homework had only allowed her some freedom when it came to spell casting. She couldn't wait to graduate so she could charm every object in her house. She had got up early that morning and dressed herself smart. She'd remembered to brush her teeth and even her hair was tidy and straight - a rare occurance. She had been too excited to sleep much anyway. She'd then spent the hours up to class time browsing through all her books, checking if there was anything she had missed during her summer reading. She'd even been reading at breakfast, opting not to eat much as the butterflies in her stomach were dancing so much she probably couldn't keep it down - and throwing up during class would not go down well.
Reaching the classroom Cora flew in through the door, causing the doors to swing open with a loud crash. Only then did she slow down, looking round to make sure nothing had been damaged and squeeking out a "Sorry!", but it was aimed more at the door than the teacher. She hadn't even noticed him until she bounced her way to the front of the class, happy to see she was the first one there - as was usual for her favourite lessons. She sat in the very first seat, looking up at the blank board a little disappointed then over to the professor.
"Hello sir!" she squeeked happily, putting all her books in a neat line on the desk before starting to get out her parchment and quills to place alongside them, then finally resting her wand directly in front of her - eager to begin. |

| His parents had wanted him to take duelling, well and truly. It was almost as though they were trying to mould him into James. Of course, Anthony was rubbish at duelling, and rubbish at anything really defensive to be honest. He had no clue why, he supposed that he just got really anxious whenever people would cast stuff at him and his mind would just race and then blank... He'd managed to settle on a compromise, that being Charms. Charms was a subject that he was actually rather fond of, and rather good at if he were perfectly honest. He tended to stick with what he was good at naturally.
He made his way to the Charms classroom, surprised to see that only one other student had arrived. Giving the professor a slight nod, he moved to the middle of the classroom to take a seat, wondering what the class would hold for the day.

| Sean watched students filter into his classroom, his eyes though were mainly focused on the clock above the door that was counting down the seconds to when he could close the door. The moment the bell rang, he shut the door with a casual flick of his wand before he focused on his students, his eyes taking in the handful of kids who had deigned to come to Charms that day.
"Good morning class," Sean said with a cheery smile on his lips as he sat on his desk, feet crossed at the ankles and his arms crossed over his chest. "To some, I say welcome to Charms and to others I say welcome back. Today, I decided to do an easy but fun class with all of you." He slipped off the desk and sharply tapped the board with his wand, the words 'Avis Charm' appearing in his neat, slanted writing.
"What can you tell me about the Avis charm?" He questioned the class as a whole. |
