The groups one by one finished up their dishes and came together to present. Grayson was pleasantly surprised at well they had done, with only a few minor errors here and there that hardly affected the overall flavours of the dishes. For the most part, the students seemed to enjoy the food at the end, although their time to eat was cut a little short by the bell. As the students filed out of the kitchen, Grayson invited them to take a plateful of anything they wanted.
When at last he was alone, he let out a sigh of relief. The class had been surprisingly successful, in his opinion. Some seemed to enjoy it more than others, but all had participated, and he hoped it had been a worthwhile experience for them. With a few hand gestures, he set about cleaning up the kitchen, returning materials to their places, and washing all the utensils. Granted, the house elves would probably be happy to do it for him, but he was not the kind of person to leave a room in a worse state than he had found it in. When that was finished, he took some of the leftover food for himself, and carried it with him back to the library.
