-Ren was born in 2009 to a wizard mother and a human father in Scotland he lives in a good home his mother would teach him magic when he was younger as a way to help him hopefully if he gets sort into slitheren on his thirteenth birthday as per tradition in his family he was given a tattoo

-Ren walks threw the cemetery stopping only briefly to gaze upon a gravestone nodding and smiling he pats it "yes, and thank you for the advice I couldn't have done it without you" he began walking again heading to his destination mentioned to him

Welcome to HaB, we're all super glad to have you here! The Admins have looked over your application, and we have the following points for you to look over before we can approve your application:

1. Please can you insert an image of the celebrity you will be using to portray Ren at the top of your app -- you will also need to claim the celebrity here: https://hogwartsandbeyond.forumotion.co.uk/t664-face-claim

We would recommend using someone who fits the detail laid out in your profile as closely as possible, though we know that this will not always be a perfect match.

2. You have put the age of Ren as 24, but you have denoted this is a student application. If you were shooting for a student, you will be looking for someone between the ages of 11 to 17.

3. Continuing from point one, if you're doing a student, you will need to amend the Date of Birth. It is currently May 2024 in game, so please adjust accordingly.

4. Birthplace cannot be Scotland Ireland -- these are two different countries. The same goes for Current home, Wales and Ireland are two different countries.

5. You have denoted your character to be 'mudblood' (we assume you mean Muggleborn) but noted that Ren's mother was magical. This would make him a Halfblood.

6. Please could you elaborate what you mean under dress sense. 'Goth' is very vague, and we would be grateful of a little more information.

7. If Ren is going to be a student, you may wish to consider the tattoo part, and elaborate on how/when he got these tattoos as, technically, he would have obtained them illegally.

8. The background does not show enough detail about Ren's upbringing. Between his birth and the point he ran away, what happened?

You have also noted that Ren got his letter at thirteen -- all Hogwarts students are on the register from birth, and always get their letter at eleven. Unless you have a plot point based around this fact, we would encourage you to keep to the canon on this point.

You have noted that Ren likes the dark arts which would -- why has he taken to this? Please expand on this point.

9. In the family section, blood type refers to 'Pureblood', 'Halfblood' or 'Muggleborn', not the blood type that you have denoted.

10. The Family background should concentrate on how Ren's parents met, and anything of note in the family (i.e. any businesses they might have, anything they may have done of note in the past that builds on Ren's character now). You can also denote that Ren doesn't know what his father is up to currently as they haven't spoken since Ren ran away from home.

11. Throughout the application there a numerous spelling mistakes. Whilst we do not expect applications to be perfect in their content, we would appreciate it greatly if you could review the application and remove as many of the spelling mistakes as possible. You should be able to get a free spelling checker online to aid you in this, or the Admins will be happy to help point you in the right direction.
