Terminating the Rat (Extreme Violence - Jouise)

The past few weeks had been spent working through his plans meticulously. The idea of poisoning the Hufflepuff had long since gone out of the window when Louise had caught him in the forest and promptly stamped out the idea. Literally. So Josh had moved back to the drawing board, trying to work out what he could do to get back at Yoshi, but ideas were few and far between.

Until Professor Holmes showed them Sectumsempra...

With the commotion of the wedding in full swing, Josh had managed to escape both Louise and Holmes' attention as he slipped out the common room and up one flight of stairs. The Hufflepuff Common Rooms were just below the main floor, the door in to the Portrait Room was the door just to his side, deserted as always.

The crowds slowly began to die down, only the stragglers left in hall as they tried not to look late. The bride was no where to be seen, but some of the idiots didn't know that. A scuffling pulled Josh's attention back to the present, indicating that someone was close. Heightening his senses, the Slytherin readied himself for the attack. Shadows covered him enough to make sure Yoshi didn't suspect a thing, and the Hufflepuff saw nothing until Josh pulled him in to the class room and threw him across the first desk in the front row.

The shallow groan from Yoshi showed that the knocked over chair had done some damage to the older boy. "Finally get to meet." Josh drawled, a smirk already crossing his lips as the seventh year stumbled to his feet, a look of utmost confusion on his features as he looked at the Slytherin. They were verging on the same height, but Josh's Quidditch physique out did Yoshi's any day.

"What... What are you-"

The words of the older boy were cut off as Josh blew the desk up in front of Yoshi, shards scattering as the force knocked the other boy off his feet. "I didn't give you permission to speak." Josh replied through clenched teeth, walking through the debris to the older boy who was now trying to cower away from him. "You Hufflepuffs were always lacking." Josh chided, pointing his wand at the boys face.

"You're to stay away from Azalea, you understand? She's not yours to play with." The Slytherin demanded. The Hufflepuff responded with a nod, trying to put distance between them as he continued to shy away. "Though I don't suppose you'll have the chance again..." Josh replied in a low whisper, watching the boy physically pale. If the young Slytherin had known how to show joy he might have laughed, but he didn't.

"Sectumsempra!" Josh whispered, noting the flash of horror in Yoshi's eyes before the spell took hold. Blood instantly started to stain his white shirt, the howl of pain that erupted from the older boy made Josh grin manically, eying the scene in front of him hungrily.

"P-Please... Make. It. S-stop!" Yoshi cried between breaths, as Josh turned his hand half a turn to the left, he didn't know what made him do the action, but from the shriek of pain that came from Yoshi proved it was working. "I-I'll st-" The words died on Yoshi's lips in favour for another howl of pain as he writhed on to his side, trying to get away.

Fool, Josh thought to himself.

The boy leaned down over Yoshi, smirking from ear to ear as the boy continued to writhe in pain and blood continued to flow. "This, is what happens when you play with things that aren't yours." Josh whispered as he looked over the boys injuries, blood was starting to pool on the floor around them.

"P-Please...." Yoshi called out again as his hands flailed wildly around which wound to hold, until he reached out for Josh. The Slytherin Captain moved away instantly before evidence could be transferred. No, he was not leaving evidence.

Raising his wand, Josh pointed it right at Yoshi's heart. Bleeding out wasn't enough agony, in the twisted fourteen year old's mind.

Louise was finishing up her potions essay when she noticed Josh leaving out of the corner of her eye. Everyone was either at the wedding upstairs or studying, she didn't know the bride or groom very well so she stayed put, besides she wanted to get this all done so she'd have less to do over the weekend, which she planned to explore around the grounds with, since it was getting warmer now.

Not five minutes after Josh left she felt agonizing pain in her stomach, she wasn't sure why, she hadn't eaten anything particularly bad. She groaned and at the looks of some of the older slytherins looking at her she tried to hide it, one of the older girls came over and asked if she was starting her monthly's. She paled and shook her head, the girl looked confused then suggested going to the infirmary.

Once Louise was out on the ground floor the pain struck again, this time it was like someone pulling at her from the inside, it hurt to try and back away so she followed the pull right into the portrait room and the blood rushed out of her face faster than a breaking wave.

There was blood everywhere, her eyes moved from the broken desk and chair to the two figures in the middle of the room. She couldn't quite believe what she was seeing and without her consent her legs propelled her forwards towards the boy standing over the cowering and bleeding hufflepuff. "NOOOO!" Her voice echoed around the room and into the corridors, much louder than it should have been. Her body slammed into his arm and her teeth clamped down on his wand, she could feel the wood creak under her bite.

Rolling across the room with Josh's wand still in her mouth she gasped at the wind knocked out of her and coughed. She rolled onto her hands and knees and held her stomach which was still aching but more like a deep throb than the sharp pain from before.

"NOOOO!"

Josh didn't see the contact until it was too late and his wand was gone from his hand. Looking around for the culprit, Josh's eyes landed on the girl who landed at his feet. The smirk of satisfaction turned in to a look of contempt as he took in the girl.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Josh demanded, advancing on the girl who now had his wand. "Give it back, and go." He ordered in a deathly quiet tone, if she didn't move he was going to have to deal with two pests rather than one, something Josh wasn't adverse to trying.

"My wand." Josh insisted, holding out his hand to the girl to give it back. He had a job to finish, and another in the making by the looks of it.

Louise snatched the want from her teeth and pulled it behind her back as she scrambled to stand up, barely staying upright as she backed away. "No, not if you keep...doing that." She gestured to the prone body on the floor. She looked away fearing she'd loose the contents of her stomach and looked up at Josh. She didn't look as scared as she had a few seconds ago, the fear was still there but in the shadow of disbelief, hurt and disappointment. She felt her back hit the wall and her eyes widened, she swallowed hard and began to sweat heavily trying to figure out what to do, she wouldn't give him his wand back unless he left, someone needed to get here soon before the boy on the floor bled to death and Louise needed to get out alive.

"No, not if you keep...doing that."

Josh scowled as the girl defied him, advancing on her to get back his wand. "I won't ask again." Josh threatened as she backed in to the wall. Yoshi was still groaning in the background though each moment she wasted was another Yoshi wasn't going to get back. "Give me my wand, and I will leave." Too many witnesses, things would have to be cleared up.

Invading her personal space, Josh leaned in to her ear. "Give me the wand or you'll come to an even worse fate, little birdy. You know what happens to little girls who tell tales too, right?" He whispered, letting her know that he was not afraid of doing the same to her if it came to it. Yoshi wouldn't be talking for weeks...

One hand snuck around her back, taking hold of the wand and pulling it gently. Overpowering would be easy enough, he just needed her to see that she had to make the right decision. "Let go." Josh whispered, as he pulled back to see her face in regards to their close quarters.

About a million combinations of every swear word Louise had ever heard of raced through her mind, her pupils were almost non existent now as Josh placed himself between her and her escape. She gripped his wand tightly behind her back and swallowed as he spoke, not sure if he really would leave once he had his wand back. She wasn't sure if the crawling at the back of her neck was sweat or magic or just fear creeping up her spine. The boy on the floor caught her eye for a second, she didn't have time to screw around with Josh. What possessed her to say what she did next was completely beyond her comprehension.

"You promise you will leave when I let go and I will stay quiet, if you hurt either me or him you'll be lucky not to be arrested." Shit! Bad idea bad idea! She felt like her heart suddenly stopped, her skin dropped to freezing temperatures and her mouth felt dry as a bone.

"You promise you will leave when I let go and I will stay quiet, if you hurt either me or him you'll be lucky not to be arrested."

The threat from the young Slytherin merely made Josh snort at her attempt to scare him. "I have no business here anymore. He'll be dead in the next... five minutes..." Josh told her casually, knowing that the first year would have no way of making him better by himself. It might have been a little bit longer, but Josh only wished to see people suffer.

"I'm going though, don't worry..." Josh told her, leaning down and forcefully kissing her lips as he pinned her back against the wall. She would learn to stay out of his business one way or another, he reasoned as he pulled away. "Good luck, you'll need it." With his wand held tightly in his hand, Josh turned on his heel and left the room without another word.

The corridors were deserted, as Josh made his way back down to the dungeons, making it seem even more impossible that Louise was going to get help in time. "Good." He muttered out loud as he continued on his way, a smirk set in place from the whole thing.

"He'll be dead in the next... five minutes..."

Oh no, don't be sick don't be sick please oh please don't be sick! Louise cringed to try and keep the bile from rising in her throat, her vision began to swim a bit, she didn't see Josh moving forward till it was too late. She squeaked in surprise and froze dead still. Heat rose to her face which was not helping her stomach. Her hands opened allowing him to take his wand from her and leave. She'd never been kissed before but she was sure they weren't supposed to feel like that, not important! She scolded herself just as Josh's back left the room.

"Good luck, you'll need it."

The next three seconds felt like three days, the adrenaline came back full force and cause her to purge right there. Keeling over and coughing till she was sure nothing else was coming up she glanced at the boy on the floor. She needed to get help and quick, but he was bleeding a lot. She removed her cloak and placed it over him, it wouldn't help much but it could buy her a little time.

Dizzy, nauseous and frightened she sprinted up to the first floor to the hospital wing. She hit the door with all her weight and fell right inside at the medi-wizard's feet. He looked at her in confusion and as he bent to pick her up she blurted out quite loudly. "SIRTHERE'SABOYINTHEPORTRAITROOMBLEEDINGHELP!" After many attempts to calm the young Slytherin down he finally got a decent answer from her and rushed down to retrieve Yoshi from the portrait room. The bleeding was stopped but the boy would be far too weak to do much for a while and would need constant monitoring for at least a week or two.

Louise was sedated to keep her from having a full blown panic attack and was asleep for most of the next day.
