Dress sense: Fine, almost too fine sometimes. Lilac has a knack for landing her fingers on all the branded things her father can no longer afford. As a result, she is often seen in palace hand me downs.

Scars: Lilac once tried to ride a horse like she had seen Lady Elenore Clement do. She was only seven and had no idea of the technique that went into riding side saddle. As a result, the child suffered a fall that led to several fractures and a week in bed. Though her injuries were healed, she retains a jagged scar on her left thigh as a reminder of going into something without properly understanding it first.

Likes:

  -Things: Materialistic as it may sound, Lilac has grown up surrounded by luxuries she could never have. She has seen the inner workings of the palace and how the Clements live and it has never made sense to her why she couldn't have all that they did. She was no different from them after all, so surely she deserved things just as much as they did?

  -Attention: Being the center of her father's world, Lilac has grown up with the rather unrealistic expectation that she should also be the center of everyone else's. So when this expectation is challenged, Lilac often finds herself throwing tantrums or being difficult.

  -Her Camera: The girl never knew she liked photography until her father bought her a tiny magical camera for her fifth birthday. It wasn't the best thing quality wise but it did the job, it took pictures of all the things Lilac found beautiful and all the things she hoped to have some day. Four years later, she still has the camera and it is one of the few things in the world she keeps for purely sentimental reasons.

Dislikes:

  - Rules: There are too many a the palace and someone is always reminding her to adhere to one or the other. It gets rather annoying.

  -Not being allowed to do the same things as Mimosa: Her father says Mimosa is like his daughter and he loves her. Well Lilac is his his daughter and he loves her more, so why does Mimosa get more access and privileges than Lilac? In Lilac's opinion, she is much more pretty, charming and fun then the American ward, and she can speak better French too!

  -The fact that her father never talks about her mother: Lilac wants to know who her mother was and why she doesn't live with them but every time she tries to ask, her father looks sad and changes the subject. Her father often talks about his dear friend Azalea though, and over the years Lilac has started to wonder if this Azalea is her real mother.

Strengths:

  -Intelligent: Lilac is a very smart little girl. By the time she was six, she had all the internals and staff hallways of the palace memorized, making it easy for her to run around the palace unseen. She even found a away to the palace nursery and used to sneak in to sometimes play with the toys the Clement children or Ward could no longer be bothered with.

  -Cunning: Lilac's father is a very nice man, but Lilac has started to see that being nice doesn't necessarily get you the best things. Therefore the girl has decided to try  things ehr own way.

  -Her father's complete trust, love and support: It has allowed Lilac to get away with things most girls her age could never dream of. Lilac knows her father loves her more than anyone or anything in the world, and she knows that because of this, she has him wrapped around her fingers.

Weaknesses:

  -Things: Because she has always had an abundance of love from her father and their family dog, Lilac has never searched for it outside. She has however longed for things she could not have, things the palace always had in abundance but that her father could never get her. Beautiful dresses, glittering jewels, expensive accessories, custom made shoes, toys flown in from all around the world, all her things the Clements seem to have plenty of but never really use.

  -Duchess: Lilac is very attached to the family dog who raised her almost as much as her father did. When her father was away at work, it was Duchess who kept the little girl company and watched over her. Lilac hopes she can take Duchess to school with her once she starts.

  -Being reminder of her status: Lilac has always despised being reminded that she is the mechanic's daughter. As far as she is concerned, she lives at the palace and therefore should be afforded the same respect and reverence enjoyed by the First Family. Though her father has tried telling her many times that it doesn't matter what people say, Lilac still plans to one day show everyone how great she really is!

Lilac Rhea Capulet was born in a dingy, unlicensed hospital in the meaner parts of Tijuana, not because her mother couldn’t afford to pay for better services but because her mother intended to keep her birth secret. That is until she managed to fleece Lilac’s father of every last penny he had. Being an enterprising American, Scarlett Jorde had her own money, but she also wanted more. What she did not want was a child conceived from a one night stand with a man she could barely stand. All this worked out in the young mother’s favor as Artemis on his part only wanted his baby girl.

Lilac would never know any of this however, as her father spent the next nine years protecting his princess from this information. Lilac’s earliest memory is of playing with Duchess as her father proudly watched his two girls. But those pure memories followed other ones, others more inquisitive in nature. Lilac grew up at one of the grandest venues in the world. The Palace of Versailles, home to the Clements of France, home to the heart of France. Her home was indeed impressive.

But life dealt her an awful hand when she realized she grew up in the palace as the daughter of a simple mechanic. Something that was drilled into her over and over by the vile woman who was in charge of the staff day care and nursery program. Every time Lilac would point out something she wanted, she would be reminded it wasn’t for her. She wasn’t allowed any of the scrumptious looking food arriving on trays to the First Family, she wants allowed to pluck flowers from the Dehlientelle, she wasn’t allowed to ride Lady Elenore’s ponies and she wasn’t allowed to stand and wave with the family from the palace balconies on National Day.  And all because she was the mechanic’s daughter.

At first she didn’t understand any of it, so she asked her father. She asked him why they couldn’t do the things the Lord and Lady Clement did. She even asked if they were any less than her father’s employers. But Artemis would only kiss her forehead and remind her that they had something so much better than great food and expensive things – they had each other. He would then start tickling her and soon, the questions would be lost in favor of Lilac’s giggles ringing through their small cottage located in the palace staff quarters.

But as the years went by, the tickle matches no longer satisfied Lilac’s curiosity, and her questions grew more intense when the Clements took in an American grl about her own age. Mimosa Harington came as an intriguing challenge to Lilac. Her father said he knew Mimosa, had known her mother and that she was like Mimosa’s sister. The American herself didn’t seem like the Clements, she seemed normal, playful, if a bit silly. But the palace certainly didn’t see Lilac as Mimosa’s sister and Lilac made it her mission to find out why? If the Clements needed a little girl to spoil and give things to, why Mimosa and not her? She had been right here all along, after all.

As it turned out, things weren’t that simple. Mimosa had something Lilac did not and Lilac now spends her time trying to find out what that is. She knows Mimosa is not pure of blood, she has heard the family historians speak of it. She knows Mimosa isn’t smart or pretty or charming, she can’t even speak French. Lilac also knows that Mimosa is American and she had once heard Lady Elenore scoffing at Americans in general. So what did the other little girl have that made her important to the Clements? And more importantly, how could Lilac possibly get it?

Because at nine years old, Lilac my not know what she wants to be when she grows up but she does know what she never wants to be: a mechanic’s daughter. Though her father is no longer a mechanic but a garage manager for the palace, her own station does not reflect his promotion, she is still not allowed anything the children of the palace are allowed with one exception. Lilac has learned to not ask before taking things she isn’t allowed. After all, if no one misses them, is it really stealing? If no one gets hurt, is it really a bad thing? And if Lilac ends up with a  few extra nice things, well no one would be any the wiser.

The only one in on her secret is Duchess, the aging dog under whose bed Lilac has started keeping a hidden stash. From toys taken in the playrooms of the children to things like buttons and bows ripped from dresses of the ladies of the palace, Lilac has quite the collection growing under Duchess’s bed. A collection she intends to expand upon more as she grows up.

One day, the ambitious girl will want for nothing, and Lilac Rhea Capulet will have the world at her feet.

Artemis Capulet hailed from a respectable pureblood family in France who never intended to have a child out of wedlock. Unfortunately, Scarlett Jorde happened and after much of the pregnancy embroiled in a custody battle in which Artemis lost his trust fund, Lilac was given to her father. Lilac knows nothing of her mother or her father's past as a pampered pureblood.

While Artemis made a new life for himself and his daughter at Versailles Palace, Scarlett resides today in Mexico, a rather seasonal mother to her son Adam. She has remaind true to her word and never attempted to contact Lilac though that might change if she saw profit in it someday.
