Grayson accepted the sheet of paper she handed him and looked it over briefly before returning his full attention to the headmistress.
"Thank you," he said, grateful that he wouldn't be expected to make an immediate decision. He would certainly need a few days to think it over. He nodded his assent as she told him to contact herself or her assistant, and then stood, following her lead. He returned her polite smile, shook her hand, thanked her once more, and took his leave.
As he exited the headmistress's office and descended the stairs, he looked back down at the list she had given him. Alchemy, Ancient Runes, Astronomy... There were plenty of classes up for grabs. He briefly considered taking Andrei's job, but quickly dismissed the idea. While he had been reading up on ancient runes recently, he would feel completely inadequate compared to the other man who had been an expert in his field. He continued skimming down the list.
He paused near the end as his eyes landed on Transfiguration. Out of all of them, that was the one thing he'd feel most qualified to teach. His time at Uagadou had taught him quite a bit beyond the typical Western techniques; it could be a very interesting class. Perhaps...well, he had a lot to think about. He made his way slowly back to the library, mulling it over in his mind.
