When Tessa rightly interjected that going out might give whoever was spying on them even more material, Jackson had to agree. Tessa was smart and beautiful, a deadly combination if put to the right use. "Well in that case, how about we stay in and have a candlelight dinner on our own?" he asked, rethinking the plan. Randi could cook as well as any five star chef and conjuring up some candles was hardly difficult.
"We may not get music but if you have a guitar lying around..." he suggested, wondering why he was bringing up a musical talent he'd almost given up a long time ago. He supposed it was because being back with Tessa made him feel like a boy at Salem again, the rebel Nightshade that no one could keep down.
"I'm not saying I'm any good, but hey, worse case scenario, we can both laugh at how bad I am."
