Pumpkin Carving & Creation Room

For those who are not fond of the dancing, or perhaps don't like the scares of Halloween, a room has been provided to get creative. With cakes and cookies to decorate, an endless supply of art equipment or pumpkins to carve there is most certainly enough for everyone to do. The music from the main hall can still be heard clearly in the room, but the volume is much reduced!

Once more, the food from the feast, as well as the drinks, will be served throughout the evening to those who wish to stay in the room, with trays floating around the room and refilling themselves at will.

There is no restriction to the creativity in the room, so have fun with everything on offer!

Jacques hadn't been overly interested in the ball that was coming up. Why? Because the moment the invitations had been sent out, the ridiculousness of the British people he was sharing the castle with came out from hiding. The ideas most of the other children had were ridiculous.

It had been clear, to Jacques, that this was not going to be like the parties he had at home in France, and that made him vastly uncomfortable.

The mistake, however, had been writing to his parents on the subject.

Almost in an instant a package had come from home with his outfit and Jacques had turned his nose up at it. Yes, it was a lot more regal than the others were probably thinking of wearing, but the idea just seemed silly. The -785-p.jpg]mask had been Jacques only solitude for the night. The fact he could hide his face from everyone was the only reason he'd come down to the event.

Almost instantly the French boy had turned away from the ballroom, seeing the English 'dance' had made him disgusted with their lack of culture. So he'd taken to exploring the other areas on offer. Pumpkin carving was something the servants did at home, and bobbing for apples soon got ticked off the list, so the boy took to the shadows, watching everyone else have fun.

The ball has now finished!

Thank you to everyone who participated! Hopefully you have enjoyed the event! We will look to put more on in the future, so any suggestions will always be welcome!

School will now resume as normal! So, hurry along to classes, and get earning points for your respected houses!

Best Couple: Unfortunately it seemed the couples were hiding during the event - but perhaps there were some lurking in the corners?

The winners have been awarded with a hamper from Honeydukes for their efforts (please don't eat all the sweets at once!), as well as earning ten points each for their respected houses!
