Personality
Ivan is very sarcastic and likes to use puns. He's into cheesy pick up lines, and will do anything he can to get onto his sisters nerves. Since he is he younger brother, he will pull on Bella's hair, and do wet willies in her ear, anything to get a rage out of her, but over all, he is a loyal brother and will do anything for his sister, or anybody in general.
Even with his cocky and cheesy personality, IVAN will really come through and be the best friend a person can have. He will put his friends first before himself, and make sure everyone is all right before dealing with himself.

Ivan grew up in Manchester, England with his parents, his father whom he just called "Alek" as he wasn't close with him at all, and his mother, Maria, who was just "mum" like normal. Bella and Ivan were semi close as they were just two years apart, Bella being the older sibling. They never really had a relationship with their father as they just called him by his first name. Their parents where never married, and that explained why Alek was there for them at some points, but then gone the next.
Ivan was a semi happy child. He always wanted to try and prove to his father that he was worthy of his love, but always seemed to fail. That brought his self esteem down a lot. Ivan was late in showing his magical abilities. At the age of nine, when his father had left disappointing him yet again, Ivan had made the glass of a candle explode setting a tiny fire on a curtain. His mum had put it out with a wip of her wand, but Ivan had been sent to bed without supper.

The Posadas are a Pureblood Spanish family from Madrid. They have always been keen on keeping the line pure and so the parents have always tried to set up arranged marriages between their immediate/extended relatives and other pureblood families. Elvira and Mateo were actually few of the lucky family members to have been from two different families. Elvira - originally a Santos - married Mateo Posada when she was 21 years old (he was 23), and for a while they had trouble getting pregnant, eventually conceiving Constanza and later on, Maria.
Maria was, from the start a very promising witch. She grew up speaking English and Spanish, going on to learn French and Norwegian as well. She was intelligent beyond belief, attended a Spanish magic school, and went to an English university in which she eventually obtained her Dragon-training degree. Being a rebellious child from birth, Maria refused to marry the man her parents had chosen for her and instead fell - accidentally - in love with a mana few years older than her. They first met in London, a place that she later learned he frequented thanks to his wand-making business. They engaged in a very loose relationship for a while, with Maria eventually ending up pregnant with Isabella, and later Ivan, from the same man: Aleksander.
Alek never wanted to stay. He accepted responsibility of Bella and Ivan, but the kids rarely saw their father as he spent his time in his native country of Russia. Later on, Maria found out of Alek's marriage, something she had not been told of, and broke off any contact with him. Taking her life again, Maria and her two children stayed in Manchester where they kids grew up listening to English-speaking people and only rarely a few Spanish words.
The Krupp's are a pureblood Russian family, mostly kept pure through family ties to other countries. They are often of fair skin and very light blue eyes, with very dark brown hair. Jett and Sara Krupp married at the young age of 22, and had three children: Rudi, Alek and Larissa. Their first son, a very openly gay drama-enthusiast, moved to London to study Drama shortly after graduation. He took Alek with him, thus Alek attended Hogwarts under Slytherin house. While at school, Alek kept his partying and drinking habits, carrying them on to his early twenties. A few years after graduation, Aleksander met his future wife through a mutual friend and so they married after 3 years of dating.
A year after their marriage they became parents to Skylar and Skander Krupp - twins. Since wand making gave Alek the opportunity to travel and meet new people constantly, Alek took the opportunity to take care of certain human needs of his. One of the girls he regularly encountered was Maria Posada. She eventually became the mother to Bella, a daughter Alek certainly didn't expect. He took respond ability of the girl, making sure Maria had enough money for the baby's needs. Being quite wealthy, though, Maria never truly needed his help. As if the birth of Bella wasn't enough, Alek fathered another of Maria's child - Ivan - two years after Bella's birth. It was the birth of Ivan that set him on the radar in his wife's eyes and eventually drove their marriage apart. After the divorce, Alek kept in touch with both sets of his children. Skylar is actually a role model for Bella, and both Ivan and Bella dislike Skander rather passionately.
