Party Place (Lucy & Travis)

The parties in the Hufflepuff Common Room were always the best, if you asked Travis. Somehow there always seemed to be substances of not such a legal variety on offer to all. Alcohol was always Travis' pick of the goods, but he knew some of his friends dabbled in some of the more... worrying substances, as Travis would call them. He might not have many barriers, but drugs were most certainly something he would not put in to his body.

Every Hufflepuff party wasn't complete without members of the other houses, of course, which meant a lot of the popular people had already arrived - popular girls, Travis knew, tended to be the easier ones to get with.

Checking his hair once more in the mirror, Travis turned from the bathroom, ready for the night to begin. He was going for the casual look this evening, but knew it would impress no less. Stepping in to the common room that was already somewhat crowded, Travis made a beeline for the alcohol table. Once he'd poured himself a glass of some unknown liquid, he scanned the room, looking for someone to play with this evening.

Lucy was always one of the first to hear about the parties that happened around the school, being one of the more popular girls in the year. And she made sure to try and go to every one, it wouldn't do to miss out, especially since they were generally the talk of the school the next day, depending on how out of control it got.

She preferred parties in her Slytherin common room, merely because it was so close by to her dorm. All the other common rooms, save for Hufflepuff, were quite a hike from the dungeons.

She finished touching up her bright pink lipgloss, and gave her curled blonde hair a bit of a fluff up before she grabbed her purse and made her way out, walking towards the Hufflepuff common room, her heels clicking softly on the stone floor.

She lingered out the front for a few moments, until people who were certain of how to enter the common room came along and let her in with them, there was no way she was going to risk being doused in vinegar with as good as she looked now.

She saw that the place had already began to fill up with people that she knew from all houses. She notice almost instantly the alcohol, and other illicit substances that she had been tempted to try before. And besides all that fun stuff, she noticed a tall boy, whom she recognised from watching quidditch when Hufflepuff played. With an air of confidence and charm, she approached him.

"So, is that a wand in your pocket or are you just excited to see me?" She asked with the hint of a smile. She knew it was cheesy and over used, but decided it was just a bit of fun.

Hot girls were in abundance at Hogwarts, and this was something that Travis was always going to be eternally grateful for. Even if he made nothing of his life, he could thank his luck for being able to come to this place. His eyes had roamed the room, taking in a couple of faces that he'd had a rendezvous with before.

Some of them might be worth going back to again, but for now, he was looking for something new, something interesting.

Taking another sip from his glass, Travis sent a nod towards his best friend who seemed to be in something of a conversation with a brunette that Travis didn't know, before his eyes went back to the room at large. He'd spotted another witch entering the room, blonde (which was always a bonus in Travis' books) and very pretty. A smile touched his lips as he noted the witch heading in his direction. He didn't make himself look too eager though, catching her eye maybe once or twice before looking away again.

Until she was right before him.

"So, is that a wand in your pocket or are you just excited to see me?"

Travis allowed a small laugh at the line, noting the smile on her features. He was quite sure it had been playful more than a serious pick up line. It took Travis a moment to think about a response, but only a moment. "Interested in making some magic together? My wand is at the ready." He quipped back to the witch, using her pick up line, back at her. "Travis." The Hufflepuff added to the end, his tone leading in to something of a question at the end in the hopes he could get her name.
