The admittance that Aiden had never done rowing was surprising to Sebastian, but he figured a moment later that not everyone lived in a town built on water. Giving a small shrug in respect of the subject, Sebastian decided to let it go, after all, there were many things he hadn't tried before.
When Aiden explained what he liked to do, Sebastian was surprised. The violin was not the instrument Sebastian would have placed for the Slytherin, but it was admirable no less. "Do you play the solemn classic music, or do you play covers of more modern pieces?" Sebastian asked, interested in that more than anything because he hadn't thought for a moment his friend would play. The swimming, however, made Sebastian grin. "Well, you have lots of water here you can practice in!" The Ravenclaw insisted. "Though, in the open water, not the canal!"
The question on what he liked to do made Sebastian grin. "I like exploring the most. You can learn so much through exploration, which is more than a little geeky, I know. Then, at the end of the summer, there are boat races, I enter each year, but I never win." The Ravenclaw admitted with a nervous chuckle. He wasn't quite so muscular as the other boys who raced, but he wasn't a million miles behind anyone. "Other than that, I just like being around people." Sebastian finished, giving a small shrug.
The minute the sights came in to view, however, Sebastian's eyes moved to Aiden's facial expressions, taking in the awe with a small smile of his own. It was nice to see people like this. "I'm glad you like it." Sebastian told the younger boy as they drifted over, and then he nodded as Aiden said he wanted to see it at night. "We'll come back." Sebastian assured the boy with a smile.
"So... how do you think your O.W.L.S went?" Sebastian asked, he knew it was too early for results, but he wondered. "I hope the Slytherin girls weren't too much of a distraction for you?" The Ravenclaw jested, though he didn't know much about the Slytherin girls, he was sure the Slytherin Common Room couldn't be as quiet as the Ravenclaw one was around exam periods.
