Early Shopping (Open)

At the mention of growing charms, he whispered out an "oh." He was glad to hear that the tone of her voice was one of a teasing manner. Though, Kai couldn't help but feel slightly embarrassed. He started to correct her and say our child, but he decided against it, merely smiling instead. "Have you thoughts of any names?" he asked, wanting to know if maybe she had something they could name the child so they didn't keep calling it the child or baby. Maybe it could be their tadpole or little bean or something.

Kai smiled when the girl chuckled. He was happy when she said that she could use an escort home. He had heard at some point that she would get tired easily, but he didn't remember if that was actually true. Though now that she mention it, he was sure it was. Standing up, he grabbed her bags in one hand and held his other elbow out towards her to take. He'd be sure to walk slowly so as to not exhaust her.

He smiled a bit at her reply. "Well, yeah," he admitted before continuing, "but I wasn't sure which last name you wanted to use." He would love their child to take his last name like it was possible for her to one day in the future, but if she didn't want the baby to be a Reid, he wouldn't push it. As first as names went, he enjoyed Silas Luc, Jasper Levi, Cora Elizabeth and Piper Eloise, though he was a bit embarrassed to say them out loud.

The bags were unusually light and he supposed she'd put some sort of spell on them to make them light since pregnant women weren't supposed to lift heavy items. When she grabbed his arm, he smiled and began walking at her command. As he walked her, he made conversation making sure to walk at a steady place and follow her directions to her home. "Would your father kill me if he met me?" Kai gave her a slight smile referring to the fact that it was his fault she was pregnant. He wondered how her parents would take meeting their daughter's baby's father. He knew his parents couldn't wait to meet Adaline or their grandchild.
