The letter from Arden had seemed sudden. Though he had been the constant theme in the going ons of Anya's thoughts, she hadn't been made aware that they would become something romantic so soon. She was not opposed to the idea of dating Arden Snow, but the Hufflepuff usually liked to know people before the relationship escalated.
As Anya made her way to the room of Requirement, her heart was beating as if it were a bass drum being banged into over and over again. She couldn't help the fact that this meeting gave her a slight feeling of worry. Dates usually did.
When she arrived at the entrance to the room of requirement, Arden was already there. He looked the same as he had when she first met him down by the water. His kind eyes intrigued her and his lips welcomed her, but Anya would not move from the position in which she was now frozen. Fantasizing about the boy did not feel right. He was real and he was right here, what else was there to need?
"Hello, Arden," She spoke softly from where she stood, a foot or two in front of the Ravenclaw.
