Muggle Studies Lesson Two Empty
PostSubject: Muggle Studies Lesson Two   Muggle Studies Lesson Two EmptyWed Feb 04, 2015 2:19 pm

Wade sat at the front of the classroom as he waited for his students to arrive. Last lesson they had learned a bit on how much muggles were different from their more magical relatives. The students were wonderful and it had been an interesting lesson but today they would be learning something more specific.

It was why there was a more clunky contraption sitting by his desk.

A generator.

It was a lesson on electricity and how the muggles had to use it to survive since they couldn't use magic.

Sitting on the students desk were an assortment of items that used said electricity. Phones, kitchen items, tools and other things.

Today they would learn how electricity made them work and how it had bettered the lives of muggles and was still being improved upon.

Picking up a cup he took a drink of his coffee and waited quietly. He hoped the lesson would be good.

Being Muggleborn, Finley had jumped at the opportunity of studying something familiar. In honesty, he was absolutely useless at practical magic, saving himself only because he was an avid reader and could all but ace the theory. His parents thought the whole thing was a waste of time, so he had to show them this year that he could do this, that he should stay, and that he didn't need to go to Muggle school.

It was for this reason that Finley had left early to the class, eager to meet up with the professor again after their first lesson. Though likely he would be the one who was forgotten because he was always quiet. Not that Finley minded, of course.

Pushing the door open, Finley noted that he was the first one there and smiled in the professor's direction. Moving to the front, Finley took a seat and took in the various objects around the room. None of them were new to him, but he didn't care, he liked playing with things, and maybe they would go in to more detail than Finley had in primary school.

Realising he hadn't acknowledged the professor, Finley quickly turned his attention back to the professor. "S-sorry, sir. Good m-morning." Finley acknowledged, hoping he wasn't going to get in to trouble for being rude.

Muggle Studies Lesson Two Empty

Victoria was running late, she disliked being late, but her schedule was so very heavy, it was difficult to work with. Hurrying through the halls without running, the witch had seen a first year in a little bit of trouble. Lost, the poor little thing. She'd explained where he'd needed to go, and given him a quick cuddle to reassure him before sending him on his way.

With that done, the witch had hurried along to Muggle Studies and slipped in to the classroom. It was much quieter than she expected, but she wasn't phased. "Good morning, professor, I'm so sorry I'm late." She explained to the man, moving to a seat in the front row and taking out her things.

Before her was a muggle device that she recognised, a Muggle telephone, of an older variety than she had at phone, but still in working order. Looking around, she took in what everyone else had and smiled to herself, placing a guess on what the subject was, but waiting for the professor to start the lesson before she spoke.
