Taylor really didn't know what to make of the way Primrose had reacted to him at the party. She'd been cold, and clearly angry with him. It was fifth year, he'd been swamped with studying, and most of his free time once that was finished had either gone to Quidditch, sleep, or Severine. That was when he realized he hadn't even told probably his closest confidant aside from his sister about his girlfriend. Oh, she was going to be pissed when she learned of it, but he knew he'd have to come lean and soon. He wasn't sure if he should consult Sev before telling her, though, probably since they hadn't told any other students, but...he didn't want to lose the friendship.
He had been wandering the grounds as he thought, when he saw the girl occupying his thoughts laid out tanning on the lawn. Walking towards her, he sat down with his head on his knees when he drew even with her, and looked over at her. "Hey Primrose, can we talk? I know I haven't been the best if friends lately, but I don't want to give up on my best friend aside from my sister. I'm sorry for ignoring you lately." he apologized, looking at her with the vulnerability of him coming to her like this present in his eyes. It wasn't what a Slytherin should do, and it went against his idea of asking why in Merlin's name she'd been so cold at the party, but his pride couldn't be a part of this if their friendship was going to be fixed.
