| Elenore's morning had not been the most enjoyable, in actual fact, she was not enjoying her morning in the slightest. Another suitor had sent his name forth to her father, who had in turn presented it to her to look over. Another Frenchman, or a tasteful background, promising to be a good husband for her. Another boring man, who saw the Clement name, and grew lustful for the power her name could offer.
And no interest in her.
It was maddening, which was why she'd taken to the grounds, conjuring up a practice board upon a tree in the grounds to aid her with her practice of the long bow and arrow she had brought down from her trunk. Whilst her father preferred her to practice privately, Elenore was past caring for the rules. She was a Clement, the Clements wrote the rules, and if she could not do as she pleased, what was the use in their name?
That said, Elenore had come to a part of the grounds very few people frequented, to both not be seen by many, but also to get away from the school in general. It would not do to have others see her in something of a fit of rage.
Drawing the bow, Elenore held it taught for only a second, before loosing it and setting the arrow free. It flew gracefully towards the target she'd made, only just coming off centre. Jaw setting slightly upon realising she'd 'missed', Elenore drew the bow again, ready to do this better than her first attempt. ________________________________________________
