Dominique was getting into the hang of her classes. But it was time for her to relax and not think about homework or even studying. As she knew there would be time for that. And she was caught up on her homework. So this was her time. She just wanted to be by herself. Because later she would find Mercy and Mimosa. As they were her best friends. But for now she was going to enjoy The Black Lake. Even though it was fall, it really wasn’t that bad. As Dominique made sure to grab her jacket. As she knew that she could her mother’s voice. And it would be bad if she didn’t.

And she knew that this was hard on her mom. As she was her only child. But she was writing her every chance that she got. Telling her about everything that was happening to her. And she was telling her that she was keeping up with her studies. As she knew that this was going to be important. Dominique wasn’t looking around too much because it wasn’t like she was expecting anybody to come. As she knew that everyone was busy and there was a next time for everything.

Sasha was mostly trying to study there but some point she just got frustrated and she needed some fresh air instead. She was doing that studying in her own house common room. So she just carried her study things to her room, placed on her bed and soon after that began to walk towards the exit of the castle towards grounds.

She had even bought her jacket with her, the weather wasn't so warm anymore and she didn't really wanna catch a cold.

So this is how Sasha ended up walking on the grounds and some point even near the lake. Awhile walking she noticed one younger girl. Who she was sure was the first year since she saw her at that sorting ceremony to be sorted but she couldn't really remember her house. She walked towards the girl there now. "Hey," she tried to get her attention. She really wasn't sure what else she could say there. She didn't really have that many friends even if she was already the sixth year now.

Dominique was off in her own little world. But it seemed like she was pulled out of it. She looked up and noticed that there was an older girl standing there. And since she was a first year. She didn’t know very many people in the other years. So this was going to be nice. But she then smiled as she started to talk. “ Hey “ she didn’t really know what to say at this point. But she should at least introduce herself. As she wanted to make a good impression. “ I am Dominique and I am a first year.” Which she was sure that the girl already knew. As she was there for the sorting ceremony. But she was now curious about who this girl was. “ So who are you and what year?”

She then also decided to tell her what house she was in. As she knew that they wasn’t in the same house. Because Dom would have remembered who she was. “ I am a Gryffindor.” She knew that there really was no bad house at Hogwarts. Or that is what her mother said.

Sasha smiled at the girl and listened when she introduced herself there. Now she knew her name and also a house which was a good thing probably. She knew that they weren't the same house or she could have known her already.

"I'm Sasha, sixth year and Hufflepuff," she said about herself there now too. "Oh, and I made to be perfect this year. It's the person who checks that their fellow students follow the rules and if not they can scold them and at times even deduct points if I'm right," she said there added there and tried to even explain it. She was still trying to get used to her new role.

"Oh, it's nice to meet you, Dominique," she said there with a small smile. She actually likes to meet new people whenever she could. This was probably a why she had come to talk with this girl.

Dominique was enjoying talking to this person. And she was glad that she was meeting new people. She knew that they weren’t in the same house. But she wasn’t worried about that as she knew that meeting other people from different house was nice. At least she told her what her name was and her house. So they wouldn’t be strangers.

“ Hello Sasha!” She then listened as the girl said that she was a perfect. “ I know what that is. My mother told me all about it.” It was something that she was looking forward to when she was her fifth year. But she knew that she would have to work on it.

“ It is nice to meet you Sasha.” Dominique knew that she could ask Sasha for help. Well when she needs it as she knew that Sasha could help her. She wasn’t sure what they should talk about as they were in different years. But she knew that she could ask Sasha to get her chocolate when she goes to Hogsmeade.

Sasha smiled there. It was nice to talk with this girl, even if it was harder to find something to talk with younger years. She knew she eventually figures something out there now. She knew that since she had met before too younger years. Last year she met a girl named Mercy, this girls housemate actually.

"Oh, that's cool. That she explained you things before coming here. Mine didn't really do it. Well, then again she is a muggle. My father carries the genes as being half-blood like me," she said there and sighed. "He never explained anything too. So I had to learn everything my own," she added.

"How you like to be here so far?" she asked there something now. It was a usually good way to start. The small talks could make things go further eventually even if not always. She knew that but she still decided to try it.

Dominique was enjoying herself as she was talking to Sasha. As this has been nice to just have a break. This was her time to get to know Sasha better. Because you can never have too many friends. She would have to write her mother later. Telling her about her new friend. As she knew that her mother would want to know that she is adjusting well to being at Hogwarts. She then told Sasha that her mother told her about some stuff at Hogwarts.

“ Yeah my mom is a pureblood, but I don’t really know who my father was. My mother said that he was a half- blood.” Sasha then was asked how she liked Hogwarts. “ I am actually adjusting well.” Dominique really loved Hogwarts. “ I am getting well in all of my classes and just focusing on my studies.” She was sure that her first year was going to be something to remember. All she needs to do was just keep up what she was doing.

Sasha has never really written letters for her parents. There was really no point since they wouldn't even read it. Her relationship with her parents was very complicated one. She didn't really even wanna think about it anymore. This was her life and she was used to with it.

"Oh, I see. Maybe one day you find out who your father really is," she said there with a small smile. She at times wished she had parents who cared more about her. "At least she is there for you. Which is good even if it probably won't be easy to be her to be a single mother," she said there with a small smile on her face. It really was easy to talk with this girl.

"Oh I'm glad that you adjusting it well," she said. "Oh if you ever will need any help in your studies then I can always try to help you out," she suggested there now with a small smile. "Or if you need any other help just ask," she added. She was always been very helpful one.

Dominique hoped that her mother was adjusting well. As she knew that this was hard for her too. Since she was always with her mother. And Dominique knew that she would be alone. So letters to home would be something nice. This was something that would help her till she was going on break. Because Dom knew that she would be going home for Christmas. But she knew that was a long way off at school just started. And it was September, so she wasn’t going to worry about it.

“ Some day I would like to find out who my father is. But right now I am not going to worry about it.” She knew that she was really close to her mom. As she knew they only had each other. Dominique was happy that Sasha was glad that she was adjusting well. It was part of her job, watching the young students. “ I will always take help when I can get it.” She wasn’t going to turn down anything. As she knew that she would need it in the future.

Sasha wasn't really waiting for holidays usually but last year changed it for her very much. She actually had more fun at her holidays than she usually did. Now she was in realtionship what was basically build on some lies. She knew it was a wrong thing to do and eventually the truth will come out.

"Yeah, right now you should yes focus on your classes and studies. Also to have some fun here and there. You can look for him when you're older," she said with a small smile. Even if Sasha should worry more about her studies too but she isn't really considered enough lately.

"Yeah, it's all my pleasure to help. Then again now it's kind of part of as being perfect too. Even if I did it already before it without the badge," she said. It was true. She was just someone who couldn't see anyone in trouble.
