Teach Me [Dimitri]

The space Nerisei had created between them was a test. The witch, after what had happened in the Room of Requirements, didn’t want to push him into doing anything that would make him feel something remotely close to uncomfortable. Nerisei liked Dimitri, very much so, and because of that, she had made the difficult decision not to initiate affectionate moves, mostly because she wanted Dimitri to be sure and relaxed. If he wanted to kiss her, it would be his choice.

But here, now, that Dimitri was there with her, Nerisei felt the moment was right. She had just overcome her fear of swimming and all because of him, and the witch found it appropriate to thank him in this way. She wanted to kiss him very much, and the fight with herself was lost. But thankfully, Dimitri didn’t seem to mind.

As she stared into DImitri’s eyes, thoughts flooded her mind. Pictures of her and Dimitri in each other’s arms, them kissing, smiling, doing things couples do…. Nerisei wanted this to work more than anything, because after all that pain, Dimitri was the light in her life.The one who had awoken her feelings once again, and had dragged her out of the abyss she had lost herself into.

His lips found hers with no hesitation, taking Nerisei by surprise as she came out of these thoughts and focused back to kissing the man in front of her. This went on for a few minutes, before the both of them pulled back to breathe. It was getting late, and they decided they should be heading back soon. Dimitri lead her out of the Lake carefully, and once they had dried up, the duo got dressed, and walked back to the castle.

Upon arriving in the Common Room, Nerisei pulled Dimitri into a hug, whispering a small ‘Thank you’ in his ear. Both of them had gone past caring about what the other students thought, so as Nerisei pulled back and met the eyes of a few girls whispering about them, she laughed and shook her head softly. Some things would never change.

“I will see you tomorrow, Mitri.” Neri promised, bidding him Goodnight and moving up the stairs to her dorm, to shower and lie down. Dimitri would probably do the same. After all, they both needed some time to rest and think. A lot of things were going to change.
