To Cast Correctly (Third & Fourth Years) Empty
PostSubject: To Cast Correctly (Third & Fourth Years)   To Cast Correctly (Third & Fourth Years) EmptySun May 03, 2015 10:21 am

Veronika had spent the better part of her day psyching herself up for each of her classes to let herself not be caught unaware or unprepared for anything. She had to be on her tiptoes. Summer was over and she wouldn't dare allow herself to be anything less than a respectable role model to these students. Even as she thought this whilst filling her satchel with papers, she gave a wistful sigh. Perhaps the reason why she was so successful in teaching at Beauxbatons was because she hadn't had any distractions. Or maybe she'd just forgotten her first-time-teaching-blunders in favor of her effective teaching. Maybe it was that at Beauxbatons she had no history there. She hadn't gone to school there, she had no shame, and she had no connections at first. She had a wonderful boyfriend waiting for her at home to fall back on if she ever just flopped on a lesson, but now she just had herself.

It was a darn good time to start only relying on herself, she thought sternly as she clambered over to the classroom calmly and confidently ready to teach her students the correct stand and hand movements of an effective Transfigurer.

Finley was nervous about Transfiguration. He hadn't forgotten the words of their professor in the introductory lesson that he'd attended the year before. The fact they would be working a lot on the practical application of Transfiguration meant he felt a little sick with nerves.

But what had made it worse was seeing the split of the classes.

There would be no Naomi in the class to keep him calm. She wouldn't be there to help. Merlin, there wasn't even going to be Madison, who would at least get him out of a bad situation.

So for once in his life, Finley had dragged his feet on the way to a class, and when he'd arrived at the door to the class, he'd hesitated. He could turn around and just not go to class. No one would notice he hadn't attended, would they? Well, unless the professor had the register. Would she give him a detention if he didn't show?

Finley couldn't risk it.

Opening the door carefully, Finley slipped in to the room, giving a small smile towards the professor as he nervously made his way to the second row of the class. Sitting down, Finley took out his wand and his textbook, ignoring the shake in his hands. He was going to be okay, Professor Hollands wasn't like their old Charms Professor. She wasn't going to call him out.

He hoped.

Sumire was extremely excited for her Transfiguration class. Transfiguration had supposedly been the magic that her biological mother, Ageha, had been in love with the most. Although not magical herself, Ageha had a squib mother and often wistfully wished she had been gifted too. Kuvi had been delighted to show her as often as she wished to see it and he once let Sumire see a pensieve memory of Ageha's face lighting up as Kuvi transfigured their couch into a blue bird. Sumire found that just like her father found Ageha gorgeous she too did. It was at those moments Sumire longed to have met the woman that loved her father and that her father loved so dearly. However those were things she could not help. With that mentality she'd get nowhere she chided herself as she marched through the corridors.

As she walked along she paused to look at the scenery before realizing that she had been walking alone, she bit her lower lip as she moved towards her class a bit more sadly. She hadn't many friends she thought. Before entering her class room she took a deep inhale and made a promise that she was going to make an effort to make more in school friends.

"Good morning, Professor," she greeted as she walked into the room before making a bee-line to the other occupant. She gave him a wan smile. "Hello," she said to him.
