Coure Title: Muggle & Magical Combat

Instructor: Louis Clement (Qualifications to teach: Was part of the French Army for fifteen years – achieving the role of Colonel. Has mastered the capabilities of wand-less and non-verbal magic and is highly skilled in duelling. Currently serving as Head of Magical Law Enforcement, part of the Auror squad, and French Ambassador for the British Ministry of Magic.)

Course Duration: 6-8 weeks (IRL) starting in September 2014 (IG)

Course aimed towards: Aurors and anyone seeking more experience in the above named areas.

Syllabus: This course will be split in to two parts. First will be an introduction to magical and Muggle forms of combat, with demonstrations of various natures. The candidates will be shown how to do the different techniques shown to develop a wider knowledge of combat methods and what is allowed and discouraged in the Auror line of work.

The second part of the course will be an individual test of the skills learnt in part one of the class, using scenarios to show how you have mastered the skills.

Attendance & Grading: Each portion of this course is compulsory - you must attend the first class (PM me if you are late joining, we will work something out). You must pass the first section of the class to move on to the second phase of the class.

Failure on the first phase will mean students have to resit the class to become competent at the next available point.

At the end of the whole class, a letter will be written to each candidate to make sure they are aware as to where they excelled and where they fell down.

Outcome: Successfully completing this course will mean the students add one star to their Professional Status (shown in your profile). Your name will also be send to the Ministry to explain that you have completed this phase of training.
