Being born to two very successful and pretty rich people, Adaline was, surprisingly, brought up humbly. She wasn't spoilt nor did she get anything she wanted as Adaline was expected to work for whatever she wanted. If she wanted some new clothes or a new phone she had to help her mom with the chores around the house. It was as easy as that.
When Adaline was nine, her younger siblings were born and since the first moment she saw them she was in love with them and very protective of them. Whenever she could, Adaline would always be next to her siblings either playing with them or reading them stories. No matter where the two babes were, Adaline was quite probably very close by.
When she turned eleven and recieved her Hogwarts entrance letter, Adaline was very much ecstatic but also sad. Ecstatic because she would go to the school that her mother went to and sad because she would be leaving her siblings however she knew that going to Hogwarts would be a new adventure for her and she gladly went on September 1st.
Over the years, Adaline made many friends and enemies. She fell in love and fell out of love. She had flings and one night stands with both girls and boys and even now when she's seventeen she is still quite the heart breaker.
Unkown to Adaline then, one of her latest flings had led her to being pregnant.

Having found out that she was pregnant with Kai's child, Adaline had initially just planned on telling Kai that she would keep the child and he didn't have to do anything but he surprised her when he revealed he would do the right thing.
Since then they had been together and despite their 'rough' start, they had been going strong.
When Adaline was in her last year at Hogwarts, the Basilisks had attacked and she, in a fit of stupidity and foolish bravery, had decided to help two younger students hide from them. That's when she went into labour and gave birth to a beautiful baby boy that she and Kai had named Silas.
After graduating, with Outsandings nearly all across the board, she and Kai had travelled to Paris, France for a few weeks with Silas and that's where Kai had proposed to her and she eagerly said yes. It had been her dream to marry Kai after all and now, being engaged, meant that all she had to do was plan the wedding with him.
Back in England, Adaline had finally decided to continue her education at the University where she applied for a Major in Muggle and Magical Law. Along with that and taking care of Kai she had decided to continue her summer modeling job as a part-time one as long as it didn't interfere with her studies.
With time however she found herself resenting her modeling -not only because Kai was a jealous
prick and mad at her but because it was actually taking away her time with her boys and thus she had dropped it.
With a second baby on the way, Adaline had buckled down and started to actually breeze through her studies and her professor had put in Advanced classes. When Eliza Rose came Adaline had been in her second year of studies but she had decided to take six months off and right now she was at home taking care of Eliza while at the same time doing some home study that her professor had given her with a soft smile and reassurance that he would welcome her back.
A few months after Eliza was born, Adaline was treated to the worst news ever. Her fiance, Kai Reid, had been involved in a horrific accident on the Quidditch Pitch during a match and was in a coma at St Mungos. No-one knew if he was ever going to wake up but Adaline had been of positive thoughts.
However when Eliza's first birthday came and Kai still hadn't woken up Adaline had been given a hard choice by Kai's family and his doctors. Was she going to pull the plug or was she going to keep waiting? It hadn't taken her a long time to make a decision and she made the hardest decision she ever could.
She had the plug pulled and Kai died peacefully just days after and was buried not a week later. She told Silas that his father was currently a star watching over him however she knew that sooner or later she would have to tell both of her children the truth about their father's death. For now she was going to focus on them and her career.
She still wears the engagement ring on her finger and refuses to take it off. It was a reminder of Kai and what their life could've been like.

Family Background
Angelica Harris nee Jackson and Adrian Harris met when Angelica was on vacation in America after graduating from Hogwarts. To them it was love at first and within the first year they were already engaged to be married and half a year after that they were already married in a muggle style ceremony. Thankfully, Angelica's parents had nothing against her marrying a half blood or marrying like a muggle.
Before the two had Adaline, Angelica miscarried twice. The first time she miscarried, at the age of twenty, was because she was unaware she was with a child and got into a fight with a few dark wizards who hit her with a spell that sent her into shock and that's when she miscarried. The second time she miscarried was when she was twenty two and this time it wasn't on accident but on purpose. Angelica met her husband's ex-fiancee and the woman, in a fit of jealousy, hit Angelica's stomach and that's how she miscarried her second child.
When she was pregnant with Adaline, Angelica refused to leave her house and thankfully she had given birth to a very healthy Adaline which was then followed by a healthy pair of twins.
