Stepping out on to the Quidditch Pitch after lunch, Jake took in a deep breath of fresh air. He wanted to give the older students something a little more difficult in respect of flying now. He'd perhaps made it a bit too easy in the past. From now on, he was going to make sure there was something more of a challenge for his students so they kept moving forwards with their abilities.

Leaning on his own broom, Jake waited for his students to arrive, thinking about what he had to do after work, and then what he needed for his Auror work the next day. His lesson was all planned, so he simply needed to wait for the students to arrive so that he could do it.

Thankfully it was quite warm today, so Jake's decision on a pair of knee length shorts and a t-shirt had not been made in vain.

Auorra took a deep breath at the view. Only one word to say. That word was beautiful. Absolutely beautiful without any flaws. She smiled a bit. For once she forgot status and class. The view was beautiful enough to make Auorra Le Fay do that. The young Le Fay heiress loved flying. Her mother supposedly was a excellent seeker when she was young. Danae had taught everything she can to Auorra about Flying. Which was a lot since Danae loved flying.

A second later Auorra came back to her senses. She schools her face into an unemotional facade. The Le Fay heiress couldn't look like some mud blood tramp seeing flying for the first time. It wouldn't be so proper would it? Auorra didn't think so and neither did her parents. And Auorra cared a lot for her parents are tried her best to please them which is a lot of work.

Quinn liked to fly from time to time, her older half brother taught her how to fly and ever since then she loved it so much. Learning how to do things that her brother taught her was amazing, he was always really patient with her and always taught her what to do and what not to do. So when signing up for flying she was very excited to be able to know new things that her brother had no idea. She was very gitty with excitement and couldn't contain it very well, but she did manage. She walked to the Quidditch field and instantly saw the Professor and another student who definitely looked older then her. She didn't know by how much but she knew that the student was definitely older. Being a Hufflepuff was something that no one would have expected, her mother was in Ravenclaw and her father was in Slytherin, so her being a Hufflepuff was news in her house.

Gaston had been thankful to see his timetable have Flying lessons today. It was one of the few classes that he didn't feel like he was doing something wrong. As he trudged down to the Pitch he saw Jake, some Hufflepuff and a fellow Slytherin. "Ladies, Jake." He greeted the surrounding people with. He wasn't one for such kindness unless he wanted someone to put in a good word for him.

Gaston hadn't seen his brother around the school yet, and he really didn't want to see him yet. His brother, Marques could get in the way of his chance for a higher position like prefect, or even head boy. Marques however had been put into Gryffindor, and he didn't think that was acceptable for the Valois name. He knew he would have to give up with him and deem it a lost cause for his little brother, but he would at least try once more to get him on the right track.

Checking his watch, Jake saw that it was time to move on with the lessons. Clearing his throat, he spoke up. "Good morning everyone, hope you're all doing well and ready for today?" He asked, though the question was rhetorical. "Today, we will be having a little bit of fun and putting your flying skills to the test."

The explanation was vague, but Jake took out his wand and flicked it behind him. After only a few moments, it became clear that today would be a course to test the students flying in many ways.

OOC: The course is as follows:

Stage 1: Hoops at various heights across the Quidditch Pitch to be flown through - with varying degrees of turns, and maneuvers to complete the first stage.

Stage 2: Quidditch scenario with (soft) Bludgers trying to put you off balance. (A safety net has been put below for anyone who falls.)

Step 3: Hoops will show up to put you in to a dive, towards a swimming pool of water - pick up one of the floating ducks without crashing from the dive.

Step 4: The rubber tuck will transfigure itself in to a Quaffle, score in one of the Quidditch Hoops to complete the task.

"You'll be competing against yourself, and yourself only. You're here to have fun. If you need to do things a little slower, please do, but also try to push yourself where you feel more confident. You can have more than one go, if you would like to. But, remember, it's all just for fun.

"Who would like to go first?"
