| Kate was thrilled to say the least about her turn out from the last class. So in return for her students, she prepared a lesson she meant to start on last year but never really had a chance. She called it the Marauder's lesson. Writing that on the board with out magic wasn't hard, she just hoped they could understand her big and bubbly hand writing. She placed a old, old map out on her desk that she had asked to borrow from an old friend of hers. It wasn't the real one, no. It was a fake one that had been remade for this purpose. No one really knew what had happened to the real map except for Mr. Potter himself perhaps.
She waited for students to file in before the lesson was to begin. And with each person that walked she smiled and gave them a friendly "Good morning". |

| History of Magic came up next on Sebastian's timetable, and he headed in the direction of the class behind a mill of other students. Seeing as he'd learnt Italian history up until two years ago, Sebastian still found the subject a little interesting, even if his peers didn't like it so much. Sad as that might seem.
Slipping in to the classroom, Sebastian took in the lesson of the day and frowned a little bit. He didn't know what a Marauder was, but it seemed like he would be finding out relatively soon.
Taking a seat towards the back of the classroom, Sebastian took out his notebook and pen and waited for more students to arrive. Though, he suspected most of the other students would be younger than him, they always seemed to be in the classes with all the years combined, oddly. |

| History of Magic was not the most interesting of lessons, especially English history. If you wanted proper history, in Jacques mind, the French history was much more interesting. His family featured heavily in the reformation of France, and thus he knew it inside out. The story of his great-great-great grandfather Thomas Clement single-handedly taking down the other French Lords, pretending to give power to the people, that was a story.
English history was tame, in comparison.
Slipping in to the classroom, Jacques didn't bother to acknowledge the professor, instead moving to the middle of the class and taking a seat. Not bothering to get his books out just yet, Jacques wondered if Ellie was ever going to come to classes. The Gryffindor always seemed so fickle, he wasn't sure what to think about her.
Though he did enjoy winding her up... even if that did seem to happen just by talking to the witch.
Shaking his head at the thoughts, Jacques tapped his fingers on his desk impatiently. ________________________________________________ | |

| Finley had gotten up a little later than he meant too, neglecting to brush his hair which was now stood up in so many ways he wasn't even sure how it had become so messy. He'd apologised to Naomi when he caught up with her for breakfast, and from there they had hurried back up to History of Magic.
Both of them enjoyed the subject, but there was very little the two Ravenclaws didn't like. Well, except perhaps having to experience the tickling charm in the way the professor had done it last year, Finley wasn't sure he'd ever forgive Professor Juvenca for that.
Holding the door open for Naomi, Finley moved in to the classroom, and headed straight for the front row. There was only ever going to be one exception to their usual routine of sitting at the front, and that was Potions.
On the board, the topic hadn't been denoted, and Finley looked sideways to Naomi once they were settled. "R-recent history." He commented with a grin, wondering what exactly about the Marauders they would be covering in the lesson ahead. |

| Naomi had to stifle a laugh when she saw Finley that morning with his hair sticking in a million directions, but she just ate her breakfast and let him be. He'd fix it if he wanted to.
On their way to History of Magic, Naomi wondered what Professor Juvenca had up her sleeve for today. The professor was... eccentric. That whole thing with setting the entire class on fire last year was a little alarming, but Naomi guessed that her eccentricities were part of the reason she was Head of Ravenclaw.
Entering the classroom, Naomi greeted the professor quietly. As she and Finley headed to their usual seats, she caught sight of the French boy she'd met last year, Jacques. She gave him a hesitant nod as they passed him and sat down hurriedly.
When Finley spoke to her, she nodded. "I wonder how much they really know about the Marauders though?" she answered. "I mean, they were generally pretty private people with good personas, from what I understand." |

| The question Naomi had brought up when they sat down made Finley frown a little bit. "Well..." The boy started, only to stop as a small frown touched his features, trying to think up an answer. How much could the history books know?
"P-perhaps the professor k-knew them?" Finley commented, before realising how old he'd just said the professor was. Grimacing slightly at his stupid comment the Ravenclaw felt his cheeks warm a little. "I... d-don't know." Finley muttered, quietening himself down so that the professor would hopefully not hear him.
He hadn't meant to be rude, but it seemed that he had been anyway. It was a puzzle, and he was still trying to solve it, but he was sure the professor would explain what she meant soon enough. After all, the lesson had to start at some point, didn't it? |

| If it hadn't been for her mother, Judah wouldn't be taking History of Magic. Well, if it hadn't been for his mother AND the curriculum he really wouldn't be taking History of Magic. He could see how history in general is important, but he didn't like it. It was all a bunch of facts and dates and names and weirdness he didn't care about enough to remember. With his book bag over his shoulder, Judah made his way to the classroom, unable to smile as he just was really not looking forward to it. The good thing about it, however, was that he would get to finally meet other people.
He'd been busy trying to settle into the fact that he was going to a wizard school that he hadn't paid attention to the people around him. Not that he didn't know he was a wizard, because he had always known. But moving from Muggle school to wizard school was still quite the change, and he hadn't ever been very fond of changes. The class, or rather the room and the people in it, seemed pretty ordinary. Nobody really stood out, which Judah liked greatly. Dropping his book bag to the floor, Judah took a seat towards the middle of the room and returned the Professor's fretting with a grin. |
