It had come as a complete and utter surprise to Victoria when the man beside her lifted her up so that she could try to touch the stars. She wobbled momentarily in his embrace, not being ready for the change in her balance, but regained herself but a moment later as a soft giggle escaped her lips. She felt so weightless... so free... soaring high above the world and almost able to touch the stars.

Alcohol always had that effect, emphasising things to unrealistic levels of being.

As the witch reached out to the stars -- obviously not capable of reaching the stars even with the man's help -- she wondered what it would feel like to be really close to them. An impossibility, of course... Turning in the man's arms, Victoria found herself face to face with the handsomely sculpted face of the Grecian who had become her companion for the evening. He was too perfect, really, everything just seemed to... to work for him. A strong look in a man, a man who many witch's would fall over themselves to get to be this close to him.

In his arms...

The witch felt somewhat heady, not knowing what to think in that moment. Thinking seemed vastly overrated in that moment, though. Something that would not help her in the slightest with her current situation. So Victoria didn't think, instead leaning in slowly to the man to place the softest of kisses on his lips. The witch hesitated for a moment, before repeating the action, tasting the bourbon upon Odysseas' lips, a stark contrast to the Champagne she'd been drinking for... Merlin only knew how long now. The witch's arms moved around his neck, confident the man would keep hold of her easy because he'd made lifting her up seem so effortless.

"I have a star here..." Victoria whispered, letting out a soft, drunken giggle in that moment, her eyes upon Odysseas' for a moment, and then his lips...

Too far gone, the American witch was, that she was comfortable in the embrace of a stranger, wanting not to move away, but grow closer with him. Gone were the inhibitions the witch usually held on such situations, all she wanted was to kiss the man before her in the moonlight, and forget the world around her.

Just... for tonight.

Watching Victoria settle in his arms with the faintest of giggles, brought forth a smile from the man, who remained still, following her every movement. Her arm shot up, as if trying to actually touch the starts, and Odysseas chuckled softly, lifting her a little higher for a mere moment, before returning back to his original stance. Victoria weighted barely anything, and the man felt like he was holding a little child, too excited to learn everything about the world. Though, as she turned to look at him, the wizard reminded himself that she was not a child. She was a woman, and a beautiful one too.

A moment passed. Two, perhaps, but Victoria remained there, her eyes staring straight back at his, and making Odysseas feel slightly worried. Was she okay? Maybe she was feeling kind of ill, after all the champagne she had consumed? The wizard was ready to speak up, ask her if she everything was alright, and even offer to escort her back to wherever she was staying, just to make sure she was safe, but before any of that could possibly happen, Victoria had leaned in, and placed the smallest of kisses against his lips.

If another kiss hadn't followed, the Grecian would have thought this had been a dream, or an accident, but Victoria had indeed kissed him. On her own. And that made Odysseas smirk, because that meant he had won without even having to try much. Her arms moved around his neck, and Odysseas easily lifted her slightly, allowing her legs to wrap around his big form, before her lips found his once again. The man kissed her back softly, not wanting to scare her. They had time for more. This was simply the beginning.

"I have a star here..."

"Then you must be the sun, for you're shining brighter than me..." Odysseas spoke, his eyes never leaving hers. But as her gaze lowered to his lips, Odysseas murmured something in Greek --that Victoria would obviously not understand-- and then claimed her lips once again, slightly more passionate that before. His arms wrapped themselves tightly around her small frame, bringing her as close as possible, as his lips made light work of placing a few small kisses down her chin and the column of her throat. "Would you, perhaps, like to go back to my place?" Odysseas inquired, already knowing that the woman would not refuse. She was too far gone, to back away now.

The blush upon the witch's features grew upon hearing Odysseas call her the sun. A simple compliment, probably highly rehearsed by the man before her, but Victoria didn't care. She was happy -- or so she believed -- for the first time in months. In the arms of a stranger, being told some of the most beautiful things. And... the man had kissed her back, not refuting her movements which meant that he liked her -- didn't it?

The young witch had all but melted in his embrace as his lips found her throat. A soft hum of appreciation eliciting from her lips as he gave her the attention she had not known she craved in that moment.

The attention was brought to a stop with the offer of going back to Odysseas' place, the offer that gave the unspoken promise of more if she went with him. The idea that taking off with a man you didn't know, in an unfamiliar country did not occur to the witch as she nodded, her lips coming to his once more. "I would like that, very much..." Victoria whispered against his lips a moment later, excitement forming in her stomach because this was new. It was going to be great fun, wasn't it?

The witch did not know, she'd never done this before, but it seemed right... somehow.

But even at her acceptance of the offer, there was no rush made by either party to move from their embrace on the sand, their lips finding each other once more as the kiss deepened, leaving Victoria breathless by the time she pulled back, waiting for Odysseas to lead the way back to his house, her hand tucked neatly in to his as she followed him back across the beach, pulling him back to her ever so often to steal another kiss from his lips.

Why did his kisses feel so right?

Why did she need to keep stealing the kisses?

Victoria did not know the answers, but she was past thinking about anything now...
