| When it came to lessons Emily had attempted to somehow find a way to take them seriously, but with the events that happened during the school year. It seemed that she managed to slack off a bit. Which was something she was not willing to put on her list of things she was not the greatest. Since she was very smart and she wanted to make sure the classes went well. Causing the fifth year to quickly make her way to Care for Magical Creatures, a class she found really interesting. Due to the fact that involved animals which was something she was particular fond of for some unknown reason. Even though her parents had worked in medicine, she was often not sure what she wanted.
Emily then had been on the school grounds enjoying the summer breeze that came with the final lesson, since truly who did not enjoy warm weather unless someone was undead which being the sun would kill them. She had no clue since when it came to stupid fangirl things Emily truly had no interest in it. Since she was there to attend her classes not to bother mingling with her fellow classmates. Which seemed to be what students wanted to do anymore.
Often leading her to make it to the lesson, which was taught by their headmaster since it truly seemed they had a shortage. Then again it seemed Hogwarts was not the big great school it used to be. Leading her to bring her focus unto the lesson wondering what little creature they would be learning about in the lesson. Since it seemed nearly endless on what creatures and many had been very cute.
Leading Emily to pay attention.

| Ryder was relieved in all measures that the year was coming to an end, and had little to no regret for this being the first lesson he actually decided to attend. The Gryffindor had wanted to have his own fun and it seemed he often liked putting school below his list of priorities as he knew that after this year he would hear from uncle that he was having an repeat of his first year. Where he only attended three of his classes which had no affect on Ryder in the slightest. Since he knew he was a troublemaker and a slacker, and he knew that even if others tried they would never manage to put that in his mind.
The fourteen year old soon arrived to the class, where he looked wondering what in the world they were learning. And before he knew he saw a half creature. What was it supposed to be and he then said. " What the heck? " not caring if he sounded foolish for not knowing, but he had a feeling this lesson would be a fun lesson where he could manage to have some fun. Since he was aching to have some sort of fun and he soon looked and he knew what he would do.
Contemplating everything in his mind, and soon it came to him the creature seemed to be a hippogriff. Looking then saying with a tiny smirk as he said. " I will have a ton of fun. " making the lesson actually kind of fun even if it did not even start. |

| Daniel was, to be quite honest, very happy with the turn out for his class. He knew his students must have been going through a tough time, what with the recent attacks. So, the fact they could trust him enough to come out in to the forest for the lesson made Daniel quite relieved. Hopefully there wouldn't be too many lasting worries from the attack.
"Okay..." Daniel called out, giving people time to turn their attention towards him. "Good morning everyone. Thank you for coming down to class today. Now, for those of you who have had your eyes off the floor, you have probably noticed that today's lesson is just behind me. Hippogryffs." Daniel explained, moving out of the way enough for the students to see the beast just behind him.
"Now, let's start off with the simple things. Can anyone tell me what animals the Hippogryffs are hybrids of?" Daniel asked, looking around the many faces of students before him with a hopeful twinkle in his eye. |

| Violet was still kind of on a high after that feast. She had bought her emotions under control, managed to keep her face neutral, but every now and then they'd creep up when she was alone- possible plans, attacks would linger in her head when she found the time to think to herself. She didn't write them down though- as a precaution.
She knew that she was late to class, but she didn't particularly care. There were much better things to look forward to. Though she supposed that she might as well attend class- knowledge was certainly an advantage.
When she walked over to the area class was held, the teacher had already started talking. She stood to the back, so not to gain attention from anyone, taking note of the three Hippogryffs that stood behind the teacher. The professor had just finished asking if anyone knew what they hybrid was. Wanting to move the class along, Violet spoke up "Horse and eagle isn't it?". |

| Waiting for an answer didn't take very long, and for that much, Daniel was grateful. Waiting around, and patience, had never been one of the Headmaster's strong points, of that much he was quite aware. Looking to the young witch who answered, Daniel nodded along as she continued with her answer.
"Correct, Violet, five points for Hufflepuff." Daniel responded to her answer. At least someone had known the answer, showing promise for the rest of the lesson. "Now, many of you might be aware that Hippogriffs are immensely proud creatures, so you must treat them with respect. Each of you can come up in turn to a Hippogriff, bow down to it, and, if it bows back, you may step forward to touch the creature. Pet it, if you like.
"However, if the beast does not bow, slowly back away. This means that they do not wish for you to approach them. Be very careful in your movements at all times, a Hippogriff can be very dangerous, but only if you do not respect them." Daniel explained, pushing a smile on to his features. Personally, he loved the beasts. "Now, who would like to go first?" |

| Lucy sprinted out of the castle, mentally kicking herself for oversleeping that day. It had been becoming a problem, her oversleeping. She'd hadn't been able to sleep well for quite a while- she put that down to the stress of school, that was slowly starting to take its toll on her. Which was strange- she had never previously been one to worry so much about things, perhaps it was just her realising how important schoolwork was.
She tried not tho think about it as she hurried to class, stopping just short of the group to catch her breath before she walked to join them, trying to be as quiet as possible so that no one noticed.
She saw the creatures and immediately recognised them to be hippogriffs- confirmed further as the Hufflepuff explained what they hybrid was. She had never actually seen a Hippogriff before, so already, after laying eyes on the majestic creatures, this seemed to be a promising lesson. |

| Truth be told, Carlotta hadn't realised that she was late until she saw the large gathering of students and the Professor starting the lesson. She swore that she had more timeā¦ Although, she had been a bit scatterbrained that morning- forgetting her notebook and having to rush up after breakfast to get it- thinking that she had more time than she did. She really must start wearing a watch, she thought to herself as she made her way over to the group, standing at the back. That was until, Professor Jameson asked who wanted to volunteer to step forward, in which case she jumped at the chance.
"I'll go sir," she said cheerfully, dropping her things to the floor and walking to the front. She slowed her pace though, when beginning to approach the creature. She knew how dangerous they could be, and she didn't want to provoke an attack- that wouldn't be wise at all.
She stopped her approach a few meters away from one of them, and slowly, very slowly, bowed to it. She was filled with excitement- that she was seeing a physical hippogriff- not just one that was in the textbooks. Care of Magical Creatures was classified as one of her most favourite subjects- so naturally, any class involving this sort of interaction with animals, she found it enthralling.
The hippogriff shuffled a bit in its spot, and her excitement quickly turned into nervousness. She couldn't help but worry that she might have moved too quickly. So she quickly took a few more steps backwards, keeping herself bowed down. A few more moments passed- and she held her breath. And finally, the hippogriff itself bowed.
She slowly stood upright again and looked to Professor Jameson, to see what to do next. |

| Elyah was late, she knew of that much, but it was better than missing all the lesson. Care of Magical Creatures had become one of her favorite subjects since after Max had expressed a particular interest in it.
A smile was on her lips, hoping to see his face there, but as thever young witch got closer, she couldn't see him. There were many people around, and Elyah might have missed him, but even after she looked closely, Max was nowhere to be found.
A feeling of sadness took over her, and Elyah decided she didn't feel like participating this time. Instead, she stayed in the back of the crowd away from everyone. Yes, she was in class, but certainly not mentally. |

| As a young Ravenclaw stepped forward, Daniel readied himself for intervention, should it be necessary. She approached the beast well, slowly, calmly, and Daniel nodded his head a little to show that he was happy with the progress she was making. Whether she was looking, didn't matter, because the focus should be on the beast.
It was a tense few moments as they waited, but as the Hippogriff bowed, Daniel couldn't help but grin. "Well done, Carlotta!" Daniel told the witch, making sure she knew she had done well. "You can move forward to pet the beast, if you'd like." Daniel added, motioning her forward.
However, as she did so, Daniel checked his watch, and let out a sigh. "That seems like all the time we have this lesson. Please make some notes on Hippogriffs for homework so that you're aware of them. And, please remember to never undermine a Hippogriff, very few men have lived to tell the tale! Have a good summer, and I'll see you all next year!"
