Charms Lesson One - Years 6 and 7 Empty
PostSubject: Charms Lesson One - Years 6 and 7   Charms Lesson One - Years 6 and 7 EmptyTue May 02, 2017 6:07 pm

At the end of last year, Sean had decided to split his classes into two; first would be the first five years which he would take in the morning and then the sixth and seventh years would be in the afternoon. The reason for that was purely because he didn't want to hold back the NEWT students by having them do basic stuff only for them to have to scramble and revise for their exams within weeks of them.

In his first lesson with the sixth and seventh year students, Sean was going to get them started on silent casting; he knew that he had touched on the subject briefly last year in their last lesson but he was going to push his students further now by having them do the much harder spells silently. He doubted a lot of them would be able to do the spells on their first try without speaking but he was patient and he could teach the students much more easily like this then previously.

Silent Casting, was written on the board behind him as he waited for the students to arrive to the lesson, his eyes focused on the clock above his door; they still had ten minutes before he had to start the lesson.

Charms weren't really something in what Hazel was good at but she still did attend there at times. She just figured if she keeps trying those spells then in some point she will even succeed in them, just it takes for her lot more of practices but then again at times she isn't focused enough do it correctly. So she messes things up even more easily.

She had nothing really expect from this year. She really had no idea how her year will go. She just wished that nothing bad won't happen. She didn't really wanna end up in some kind of trouble really even if at times troubles seemed to follow her.

She walked into the classroom and noticed she was first one there. This has never really happened to her. "Hello, professor," she tried to be nice. She took a seat and then took out all necessary items for the lesson even. She might not be the brightest one out there but she still likes to learn about magic. She now needed to wait for others to show up.

Charms class. Dimitri quite liked the class for the simple fact he had flair for the Charms subject itself. His wand was allied to the Charms work, and thus made him something of a natural in this subject. That wasn't to say there was nothing he could learn, or that he couldn't improve, simply that it came naturally to him.

Stepping in to the room, Dimitri gave a nod of greeting towards the professor before taking up a seat in the middle of the room. Noting Hazel - whom he'd met over the summer - he gave the witch a small smile in greeting too, before sitting.

Taking out his notebook, Dimitri readied himself for the lesson, before noting today's subject matter. Smiling to himself at the challenge that had been set, the Ravenclaw couldn't wait to get started on this. It was definitely going to be an interesting subject to say the least.
